The simple addition of the possibility that none might be fake removes the usability of the elimination method to determine which one is fake, so we do actually have to consider each clip individually.
Funny fact about erasable ink being returned with cold. In 2017 there had been a trend about erasable pens, and the thing was that this year, there was a heatwave following the written exams of the Baccalauréat (French equivalent of the High School Diploma). The examiners had to put the answer sheets in the freezer in order to be able to read anything
that seems like bullshit, unless they stored the tests in a black truck in the sun it wouldn't erase, and those pens wouldn't be allowed in most countries.
@@wincentywilk7511 I assume not, but there is always people forgetting their pens, or pen having a malfunction. I could see malicious people lending an invisible ink pen or defaulting to it when the other pen do not work.
I do really like the none/multiple are fake options, the possibility (however small) they bring makes me try and justify why I think the options are fake/not rather than metagaming knowing it's certain to be 2T/1L. Plus, that dry ice tip might just salvage some of my old notebooks, so thank you for that!
The 2nd round was def giving me a hard time, if one had to be fake I was thinking the heatgun, but also remembered heat being used in some CSI like way with pens. Completely forgot about the none being fake option, and for Round 3, up until you said the syrup would make the ball bounce I thought you'd do a All Were Fake as well.
It actually IS possible to generate electricity directly from a temperature gradient like 1B, you just need a special device for it. My grandparents have one!
yes that threw me for a loop, then I remembered my material sciences classes I took ages ago stating that thermocouples (devices that produce a voltage in response to a temperature differential, the sensor component of digital thermometers and thermostats) need to be made of two different metals and the metals need to be directly in contact. Once I realized the metals were not in contact I understood that the effect shown was false
I think the viscous solution would force the pingpong ball up when dropped, only to slow it down again because it clings to the ball. I bet that if you had separated the ball and the syrup with a layer of cling film (assuming that does not stick to the ball) it would shoot up out of the beaker.
The first one i was tempted to say none because i remember that a temperature difference can actually create an electric potential difference which is how thermocouple thermometers work.
Fun fact: hot and cold can be turned into electricity (dry ice would be used for one side), it's called a peltier device. Kinda weird, because they work both ways... Give it power and one side gets cold the other hot, but if you make one side cold and the other hot it gives off power... Kinda like a motor/generator scenario.
You can make electricity from hot/cold differences, but not with that example. The biggest problem with it is you need a return circuit, and the next biggest problem was nothing there would generate electricity from thermal differences. Look up thermocouples (and peltier modules) if you want to see how it is done (and in reverse, making thermal differences from electricity)
I'm glad you used the none were fake. like most of the comments I was originally stuck because you never used it before, but I got it in the end!. Also, glad to see you still rarely use it. It'd be much less interesting if almost every video had no fakes.
i have an idea for a two truths, one trash episode: 1: if you put a string of metal beads in a measuring cup or beaker, and drop the bead sting out of the cup, the beads will levitate off of the beaker. 2: if you put powdered mercury phisionate in an aquarium tank and apply heat, long tendrils will begin growing out of thin air, this does generate toxic fumes, so use cation while preforming the experiment (it could be something like this, I found it on Outrageous Acts of Science, and I feel like it should be here). 3: if you heat up a pipe, the pipe will sing, you can pour the sound into a cup and back into the pipe as shown here. Answer: #3 and #2 are false, there is a metal mesh that is heated up creating the sound tipping the pipe just stops the noise, you cannot pour sound. for #2 there would be turbulence where the two fans meet which would not make the plane float, instead, i used fishing line to hold the paper airplane in place 1: if you draw a stick figure on a glassy, non pourous surface and apply water, the stickman will come to life and dance inside of the water bubble (only works with ethanol based ink. 2: fold a paper airplane and grab two fans, place the two fans on either side of the paper airplane and it will stay stagnant in its place 3: get you and your buddies to place their phones on a table surrounding a few kernels of pop corn, have the phones call each other and the energy output of the phones should pop the pop corn kernels because the phone produces a microwave and causes the kernels the pop. #3 is false although phones do produce microwaves, they do not have the power to pop popcorn, a standard microwave has about 900 wats of energy while a mobile phone only outputs about 1 watt of energy. round 3, here how to make a homemade glow stick, take liquid floor cleaner, a lollipop, for this, use a dum-dum since it has a different chemical bond which will react differently. get some dish soap and a little water, combine it all together and you get a bioluminescent liquid that glows in the dark #2: in Turkmenistan, there's a crater that is called the "gateway to hell," its a natural gas mine turned bad that the workers decided to set ablaze, and its still burning to this day from the 1970s #3 if you angle a needle correctly, it can pierce through glass and pop a balloon on the other side without breaking the glass #1 is fake, although we all could have wished to make a homemade glow stick, these chemicals cant be used to make it
I was right! I was like I know for a fact the the last 2 are real, bc I lost a whole semesters worth of notes bc I left my back pack in my car on a hot day and we had a test so when I went to grab my notes we were allowed to use I didn’t have any. And the match trick I’ve done before. And the first one just felt real, I use food coloring a lot not in glycerin specifically but it makes sense. And yep they were all real.
"None of them are fake" makes me feel bad for mindlessly discarding the least likely one. So I guess they're educational, and keep users on their toes?
I was almost perfect! Rounds 1 and 3 I got correct, and round 2 I knew the erasable ink trick was real and the matches trick was real but I guessed that the vegetable glycerin was fake.
The "none/multiple fake" options would be fair if you didn't preface the video with "two of the following videos are true while the other one is trash."
On the 3rd round I'd remembered seeing your video on the subject, and I thought that it wouldn't work because the syrup was sticky. Also, you can't see the reflection of the color of the syrup in the bowl.
Please do put the series name in the title, I can see fans of the series missing uploads. Maybe also use an indicator in the thumbnail, though that is extra.
I picked C for the none were fake even though id seen something very similar done before because i thought the none were fake was just to throw people off, i got the rest lol
Oh my lord I actually called it ? 1 seems like something I remember being true, 2nd one is something I actually knew and the third seemed like a thing that naturally happens so I was just thinking maybe none ? And I was right wow
Love the "none are fake" and "multiple are fake" options. So Useful!!!!

yea, the hot to cold would only work if a proper thermocouple is made. requiring iron and copper wires to be linked.

For round 1 for B, you can actually power the led with the temperature difference you just need a peltier plate
That was so fun! Had me second guessing myself so hard

I like the occasional none/all were fake options.
I finally got all of these correctly . Feels good
Aahah I lost this one completely, great video. Btw, is this the end of the season?
No, I did 8 episodes in Season 1, so I'm thinking I'll do 8 again this season.
Somehow I almost always get these right and at this point its getting creepy
i was so torn between the none were fake one, I didn’t even consider none as an option! Lol
I like the "none are fake" only if I learn something cool and it's not obvious.

My thought process was "viscous syrup would act like glue, and cleaning syrup from the flooring would be a pain in the ass, so it's the fake one"
And the “syrup” was far too “flowy” for lack of a better word

OH MY GOSH YOU FOOLED ME LOL
the water and dry ice one isnt that how thermocouple works?
sporadically its really good, don't worry too much about the name
Do I have to use clear glue to make the slime, or can I use white glue?
I make the slime the same way it showed in the video so I knew the slime one wasn't fake
I got all but the last one, right. What would happen with oobleck?
I don’t really like the none are fake option, at least not without warning about it being a possibility
