Umm, as long as there is a border or division between land, people living inside a region will naturally be hostile to the people living outside. It's a natural thing, it's not racism. I wonder if there are actually too many people who are sincerely racist towards any Indian race in the mainland too. ( At least there are no significant number found in my state westbengal xD )

@@sarah-yx7mc I thought you said I'm being racist 😪 The people in my state especially the youth only watches kdrama and not Bollywood movies, our fashion sense, Choice of movies are all very east Asian. I've encountered people who calls me Chinese, chowmein, chinky etc. Some even said that I don't deserve to be an Indian just because I can't speak hindi. All I wanted to say is that no matter how I look I am still an Indian and I love my country, doesn't matter if I know hindi Or not or if I don't watch Bollywood movies or listen to hindi song. I still am Indian and Yes if anybody say anything bad about India I would feel bad the same way any other Indian would

Maybe you don't tease but there are people who does tease us. Atleast get some knowledge regarding this issue and then comment, i guess you don't know there were many cases regarding this racial discrimination in cities like Delhi, Mumbai. Go and check it out in your youtube and you'll get videos regarding this how northeastern people were bullied back then.. Now it stop to some extent.
