Exactly, it amazes me that everyone seems to think "old destiny" is always better than what releases now. The nostalgia is so unreal that it makes people think the infinite quality of life changes made in d2, all the new stuff added, all the new things to do, and yet d1 is apparently better. I went and played d1 earlier today, that game felt like dogshit compared to what d2 is now.

At 10:50 absolutely yes Destiny is going back to its root what? Primaries being more dominant, Secondaries now needing a system to get ammo rather than spawning with it, weapon leveling, sunsinger is coming back for warlock, like what is cammy on about? If he is confused thinking it's going back to year 1 of D2 then I get that, but he played D1 so I doubt he's confused. D1 pvp was very unbalanced, but nonetheless, yes we are going back to its roots and yes that is a good thing even if the statistics for playtime show otherwise. Keep in mind, D1 was only available to console and there was bo sensitivity settings past molasses and the FOV was similar to a sniper scope looking through a sewage tunnel so of course pvp isn't going to be played much, doesn't mean their balance and fun was worse than D2 though.

Getaway Artist is such an underrated and also often misunderstood Exotic, I'm surprised I don't see it used more when it essentially gives you free damage in a gun fight from neutral. (Or Arc Souls in general for that matter.)
As a note if you're running Rift Arc Souls you can refresh the longer duration of the Getaway Soul if you cast Rift before it runs out, so you can keep the longer 20 second duration going. (Though be careful as the reverse is true too as you already stated.)
Another thing that goes under the radar is that Getaway causes Arc Soul damage to restore about 5% Grenade Energy every time a burst deals damage, causing it to semi loop on itself. (Works from Rift Souls too!)
And it's more of a pet peeve of mine at this point, but aside from the duration the Rift Soul and Getaway act exactly the same, the Getaway version just seems to shoot faster because it's giving you Amplified at the same time, but people keep insisting that only the "Sentient Arc Soul" is stronger.
Pre Arc 3.0 Getaway would actually cause Rift Souls to shoot the longer 6-shot burst before that was baked in baseline as a part of the kit, but nobody ever seemed to notice for some reason and it still bothers me to this day, which is an interaction that got nerfed when Arc 3.0 made it a 5-shot burst while Amplified. (Like I legit tested back in the old Tribute Hall, I would throw my grenade and cast my rift, and I would still see the 6-shot burst and the grenade energy refilling in bumps from Rift Souls, but nobody ever believed me, old man yells at clouds.)

At best it could score a kill, but more likely it just gives some extra grenade energy at closer range engagements.

This build with the season of the deep seasonal mods was top tier. As you got damage resistance as long as you was amplified. Even without those mods, this is still amazing and I'm glad youre showcasing the power Cammy.

Now use the same build with divinity. It’s a lot of fun in a team since it either gives teammates a free kill or you can make you ttk competitive again with the enhanced arc soul.

Getaway artist is low key slept on, I get so many tripple picks in trials going amoed and doing the cheese slide in a tight corridor. I use monarch with it tho and hipfire on mnk, amplified with arc souls is super easy to zoom around with a bow and I found the arc souls cleaning up my kills most of the time.

Iit is going back to it's roots, this guy is just a try hard who use to get shit on by good players, & only started doing anything when all the good players left 5 years ago. He looks like he got lot better he shouldn't fear us coming back, maybe now he doesn't suck so much he will enjoy a return to Destiny's roots. I think what he meant by a return to its roots is auto rifles not sucking, by the way, don't have such ptsd response to the old ways. Most of us are old our response time is shit what he has to fear is the kids who will be kikcing his as soon cause as you get old you response time diminshes. Sucks, but eventually we all fall off.

I made this build back in Season of Defiance and it almost made me want to switch to being a Warlock main because it was just so fun. I couldn't make the switch though because warlock players are the most degenerate players and I could not associate myself with them, but it was certainly fun. Best auto rifle build in game which is funny since Titans get the auto rifle exotic.
