Maestro Myung-Whun Chung, is phenomenal. There is no audible trace of ego. No pretense. Just Brahms. Gigantic, subtle, noble, and passionate. Myung-Whun Chung's handling of Tchaikovsky's 6th is pure perfection and an equal delight.

What an excellent conductor... he does not rush the music as if his life depended on speed. He allows the music to unfold naturally in front of you... one can hear every single note and phrase in an unhurried manner... absolutely wonderful. What a divine performance, and as for this wonderful French orchestra, I can only say a huge 'bravo' and thank you.

Every once in awhile there is a conductor who can bring out the best in both the composer and the orchestra. This is once of those whiles.

Einfach erstklassig!

This conductor has the music of the the great Brahms flowing in his veins. I have seen/heard him conduct all the 4 symphonies, and they are unequaled, and of course has never, NEVER had the score in front of him, obviously memorized every note and beat of these incredibly complex scores. I can just imagine the Master looking down at this Chinese-Korean conducting this French Orchestra in totral astonishment.

27:28 SERIOUSLY? What's up with the cameraman and the (WWT) the Wood-Wind Twins? This is the 50th time showing them. Is this a "duet showcase" or a symphony? I get it, but geez. 🤣🤣🤣
