I cried laughing when mutumbo said MJ didn’t dunk on him and Wade....... He didn’t dunk on me I was late blocking him 🔥🔥🔥🔥Classic bars 🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️🤷♂️
I just saw the Craig Sager award he was awarded in 2018 and the life he has built with the hospital in the Congo, what a great man. One of the only GOAT players of any era in any position, offense or defense, whose off the court work will forever outshine and dominate his on court work in terms of real world change. And I pray it only gets better for him. Much love, Dikembe.
There will never be another one like Mutumbo I’m so glad i was around to watch him play in college and the NBA...And also he’s the greatest humanitarian ever
Armstrong had a deep voice but Dikembe’s voice is extremely deep. Just imagine anybody hearin it for the first time. Probably like experiencing 3D for the first time in the cinema.
Puts Hakeems greatness in perspective because he's got Mutombo by like 400 blks at the number one spot with 1 less season. Shout to these legends..💪🏾💪🏾
He offers a fresh perspective. As much as I love the OG inside the NBA TNT crew they are getting to the point where they’ve basically become the get off my lawn type of old heads
@@FloridaWeed if a girl is six foot tall and skilled she will be a great. If a man is six-five and skilled, a great female player will call him a bum because he’s not an all star. THEY don’t get that there is soooo much talent in the men’s game.
I remember as a kid around 9-10 years old i went to the grocery store late night in Denver and while i was picking out cereal i see his face above the next isle .I knew it was Mt.Mutombo right away ! I watched him get in his car which was a toyota camry or something similar with the drivers seat where the backseats used to be and take off. Mind is still blown how he fit into that car. A very wonderful man to the kids and the city .
That was deep. He's a true humanitarian. Just brought tears to my eyes. I will buy his coffee. I'm so happy he's a HOF if there ever was one. But his helping his country's people is his legacy not the years in the NBA.
I'm so glad he got his roses before he died. Rip Dikembe
People like Mutombo restore my faith in humanity
I honestly wanna try Mutombo coffee
Yes Definitely...
He's a great man. I wish more and more athletes were like him
Not only a great defensive player, but he’s always a great man

Fa real. Dikembe is a great man.
His voice makes Scottie Pippens sound high pitch 😂
😹 yup
Jeez, he sounds like General Grievous.
💀

Cookie Monster
Greatest block of Mr.Dikembe Mutombo:
The block on the mortality rate in Congo

Uplift a whole country
Best defensive player ever Mr Gobert. Locked up the league for 6 months

Where was it gonna go though? 😂

Ahhh Cooies!
And suddenly I clearly understood Shaq when he speaks🤣
You can tell Shaq respects him. He actually pronounced his name correctly.
Age. You never hear about 20 year olds tellin the same story 3-4 times in one visit
Most Talented Shot blocker ever RIP Ton Ton Mutombo King of Africa
"you didn't dunk on me, you caught me late". That is a true defender's mentality.
Rest in Peace Dikembe Mutombo. Great player, but an even greater man.
Dikembe can be an amazing death metal vocalist
This is a good one🤣instantly thought of a screamer😂
Dikembe Mutombo's throat: Unsullied by throat clearances since 1989 👌

So funny. ReFUSED to admit he got dunked on. Love that grit! 😆
*We need more people like Dikembe, such a class act.*
Imagine hearing his voice in a dark room

Then seeing his 7-foot silhouette in that darkness. 😨

Often forgotten in the discussion of the best centers from the 90s.
Love Mutumbo but he ain’t on the level of Dream, D Rob, Ewing, and Zo. Respectfully 5th of the 90’s.
Forgot Shaq so 6th.
If he was playing today, him & Rudy gobert got the same type game, that's y Shaq ride Rudy so hard, highest paid & if in 90's would barely make top 10
@@yd856 but would be better than any center playing now (200 mill Utah dude)
@@davidjamisonnmmeto603 he wouldn’t be lol.
One of the most underrated centers in NBA history & a force to be reckoned with near the lane.

To be fair, Mutombo was a 25 year old rookie. If he had gotten an earlier start he would probably lead in all time blocks
