    This is oddly specific, i’ve been searching for external monitor for my m2 mini but reading review on this display is flimsy with that cover. How’s it holding up?

      Well I've been using this monitor for quite sometime... I've carried it around in tightly packed bags, used as camera monitor while shooting inside cars and odd spaces, used as M2 monitor in random places... And I must say it holds quite good. More than my initial expectations. Yes it looked flimsy and is completely plastic build. But It holds itself even for my rough uses. Best thing is it works with Type C thunderbolt cable directly from mac mini. So no other power cables / adapters are needed to carry.

    How’s the gaming experience? Ps4/5?

      Nothing much as expected. Well the newer M3 pros n Max are capable of handling games. Mine is a M2 only. There are few games, Like I tried a Lego game from Apple Arcade. It plays well, but if u have played on Intel HD, UHD or IRIS Graphics u would know the feel. This feels exactly like the same. U feel u are not having an external dedicated GPU, Even though internal one is more capable than rest of the competition.

      @@shoverse how the monitor’s experience with ps4/5? Is hdr available? Is there any tearing?

      @@Ksl9393 It's a 60Hz IPS display, so dont expect much on the gaming performance. It's more of a work-oriented display, with anti reflective screen. I haven't tried this on PS, but tried playing games on my PC... works well as a 60Hz panel should do...

    hey bro, hows it when compare with ASUS ZenScreen MB165B, they both same price?

    • @shoverse
      @shoverse  7 месяцев назад +1

      Not really sure since I haven't used the ZenScreen yet. But ZenScreen MB165B is 1366x768 pixels while my MSI MP161 is 1920x1080, so technically a better resolution. Both have antiglare screen, and look wise also similar, plastic build... Also I got this one for less, Like slightly less price than Asus one. Here in India - Asus one is listed as 18,500 INR in Amazon, while I got mine for less than 15000 INR.

    Do I need to connect to iPad as well or just MSI screen and Mac mini will work? And could you leave a purchase link? Thanks.

    • @shoverse
      @shoverse  10 месяцев назад

      Mac mini works with just any screen... Like MSI portable display in my case... if u have an ipad connected to the same network, Mac mini automatically detects it & u can use it as 2nd display... Like having 2 monitors... Also u can use the full touch screen capabilities of ipad on mac...
