The class was quite helpful. However, it was quite unacceptable to skip over the last part just like that. The sanskrit words in the last portions is taken from the Brihadarunyaka Upanishad . The words are Datta, Damyatha and Dayadhvam. And the last "Shanti, Shanti, Shanti" These hold immense meaning in themselves. To just minimise these words as mere "chants" is doing harm to the deep meaning of the poem itself.
sorry to be so offtopic but does anyone know a method to get back into an Instagram account..? I stupidly forgot my password. I love any help you can offer me.
@Cristian Joaquin thanks for your reply. I found the site thru google and Im trying it out atm. I see it takes quite some time so I will reply here later when my account password hopefully is recovered.
*SOMEONE* describes being given hyacinths? Is this not Ophelia from Hamlet? That's how she dies, the funeral had some flower action going on... great video. Maybe you purposely left that out... But yeah just plays into him cycling thru lit history from Greek and Hindu myths, the Fisher King, Shakespeare--that dialogue comes in so strangely! -- to a London old and new and dead... or something. I discover something new EVERY TIME I reread/listen to it. Thanks again!
@@raginyy perhaps that's why he does that. It is a contrast to the tone of other analysis videos. He does this for viewers who want something different than the typical vids that are available That being said I don't like his vocal tone but I think his analysis is not only spot on but a breath of fresh air compared to the other YT videos analyzing The Wasteland. Many of those videos are, in fact, quite good, but long winded and just overall blah blah blahhhh blahhhh blahhhh freakin blah (presents many challenges to the reader blah blah blah) I love how this narrator gets straight to the point and makes the best use of the time alloted to his goal
Who is he hero~ who is the tarot card reader - what;s the narrative? I think youve all been hoodwinked by a master comedian. Its pretentious waffle but a few decent lines.

Agreed Diya. Very much so.
Please explain. Otherwise, zero use for use hubbubs.
Seems like people who already know a lot about the poem are upset this intro video didn't say something you already know.
I wonder what my literature courses would have been without your help, you are indeed a hero!!!

This video made me go from dreading my essay to looking forward to writing it. Thank you!
He has what could charitably be called "an unfortunate voice", but it's a good survey of the poem.
lol
Ooh this is good. But as a brit, I struggled a little with the noise and action - mega full on for such a piece!
Tip: Put the video at 0.75x speed
I read this one years ago and there is so much to unpack and analyze and decipher in this poem. Very complex. Thanks for the analysis here.
Quite brilliant sir. Thank you so much for this very well crafted summary presented with such expressive power.
me understanding nothing

Why is that man yelling at me?
"Inconceivable!"
Oh damn I'm back
Beautiful, very very clear and passionate. Thank you
This and the Inferno are likely the few poems I’ve enjoyed in years.
why do you scream all the time
there would be smoke rising up up and up
It is difficult to follow him with all the yelling
I think it's engaging kind of

Honestly, this presenter needs to enrol for some elocution classes. He offends the eardrums.
Nice video...but my guy spoke every sentence like he was reading a click baity gossip article
Well I'm here for my 11th grade school essay
11th!! I'm doing this as a freshman 😭
Yes, but why are you screaming?
All for love by Dryden
A Poem analysis given in a car salesman's pitch? The cadence and tempo of the presenter seem worlds away from the mood of the Poem.
Thanks a lot!
Why are you yelling
can you not freakin' shout at me...
Play at 0.75 speed
The music behind the lesson video is so annoying and also meaningless
“in-depth” lol sure
winter and spring in a place where the leaves fall off
I can't stand this guys voice
Thank u sir for such a help.
12 minutes = "in depth."
K, bro.
why are you SHOUTING?
Who is he hero~ who is the tarot card reader - what;s the narrative? I think youve all been hoodwinked by a master comedian. Its pretentious waffle but a few decent lines.
It’s a joke of a poem
Harly, it describes modern man's disconnect from nature and his natural state.
speaking too fast to process.
Expecting him to yell “Notice me senpai, notice me.” 😂
I’m so disappointed in your interpretation of this .
Top 5 most annoying voices
The vedio were translated with Arabic language why isn't appears when I rewatching the vedio
