These old rom hacks are so nostalgic for me. I was a 2000s a kid and would occasionally watch pokemon on tv, but it wasn’t till about 2007 when my neighbour installed an emulator with Pokemon roms onto my pc that I became a massive fan. 7 year old me was instantly hooked. Games such as Pokemon brown, this strange dragon ball hack of Red, Ash Grey, Naranja and many other, were so cool to stumble across and play. I miss this old era of rom hacking.
I remember playing Pokemon Brown back in 2004-2005, might've not been this exact one, but it was specifically Brown. The maps were slightly altered, and the bottom floor of Cerulean Cave had a level 40 Kabutops, but it was at large the same game, with some changes. Back in the early 2000s there was a lot of low effort hacks, including "Pokemon" games that were actually Final Fantasy Legends or that one Telephone Mon game.
Pokemon Brown was the 2nd Rom Hack I ever played. It was flames and it was very nostalgic to see this video. Light Platinum was the first rom hack played. Also the Pallet Rangers Originate from Pokemon Brown being that Prism was Cool boy man 2nd Rom hack
So there hasn't been any major updates since 2016 (though it seems one is in testing, so maybe an update soon?) It's pretty nice, though. Includes up to the Gen 4 Pokedex (plus Sylveon from Gen 6), looks like they added in the three new types added since Gen 1, and also have the moves determine what is physical/special (at least based on some screenshots I saw).
I played this game and it has 2 versions . The 2014 version is much better than the 2009 ... i really wish they make more Gen 1 from hacks like they do for gen 3 ...

Has this got fairy type because I started in gen 1 and dropped off in gen 5 and moved on to rom hacks but I don’t want mega evolutions or fairy type and the download of this game has fairy type

If anything, the Pallet Patrol in Prism is a reference to Brown. Pokemon Prism is the sequel to Pokemon Brown., after all.
There is also a "remake" hack of Brown, called Rijon Adventures. Same region but as a gen3 hack.

Hacking gen 1 is tough. Not everybody has time to learn ASM just so they can hack 27 years old games
