Wow, Matthew, you're really putting in the work on this van build! Despite the setbacks and challenges, you're pushing through with determination and creativity. Take your time, and remember to take care of yourself along the way. We're all rooting for you!
What a FANTASTIC opening ...the water, the mountains, the silence and the serene BEAUTY of it all!🙌. The lovely Sheba and PRETTY Penny!🐱 ...and the EDITOR for the 'WIN'!🎉🤗💖😇
I know this probably already built but its good someone isnt paying you its good work but slow as hell , its like watching a tv show that never ends i dying to see it done keep up the good work
Hi Matthew Daniel’s wife Kimberly here. Daniel is home now doing okay. Has a bit of a hill to climb but he’s okay. He says hi. But we do have a bit of rehabilitation time for him outpatient. For about 2 months. When he feels better he’ll play catch up on your videos.
What about putting your fridge in a pull out drawer on the double door side with a sink/water station too. Then Penny’s litter pan where you’re now thinking the fridge. And Cabinets and drawers combined in that space.
I am rebuilding a 1976 Ford campervan, it turned out to be a rust bucket, but runs great. Thank you for filming your rebuild, I am learning so much from you. It was a kick when I watched you for the first time, quite a showman, that makes your channel what it is. Love your Penny.
16:20 mark: If that ever happens again (I hope it doesn't), cayenne pepper powder is a styptic that you may already have in your kitchen. Not lying, it does sting when you first apply it, but it quickly numbs and the bleeding stops. The hardest part is not knowing how long to keep it on before rinsing. If you rinse it off too soon, the bleeding will start again.
You added the sounds of the water..didn’t know if I wanted to fall asleep or get up and go pee again.😅😅 yes I was one of the people that was hollering at my screen wrong numbers..I’m really starting to understand your method to your madness on this build.😊😊
Nice to see “editor Matthew” back to pick up the pieces 😂. It’s great that you taking your time with the build & thinking it through - now if you could just stop slicing & dicing yourself 🤦🏼♀️. BTW your Mom has great taste in hoodies 🥰💞😘🍀🏴☠️
Oh my goodness Matthew...the scenery, Miss Sheba, Miss Penny and her adorable sneezes. The Editor made an appearance (I think he deserves a raise). The medical emergency, the family trip into Silverton...your Mum Repping the Channel while you wear Dixxon...LOL. Your monkey mind is a thing of beauty...
Beautiful opening, it’s so peaceful ☺️ The beautiful Sheba and Penny always makes me chuckle when she flops back down in her spots 😹 Can’t wait to see the finished cabinet 🙌 Have a great evening, Cheers 🍻
It will doubtless gratify you to know that I have absolutely no idea what is the best place to put a diesel heater. Everything you're doing looks fine to me. 👍👍👍👍👍
😳WOW!, that looks like a really bad thumb cut 'THEN' ...I do hope it's all better 'NOW'🙏. Really COOL going into town with your parents & having a 'sit down' ...soooooo EXCITED to see how that battery/kitchen station comes out! Keep up the GREAT work, Matthew ...take care, stay safe and God bless!👍🤗💖😇
It's been great to see lucky 2.0 coming together. Great that you can take your time. Enjoy the build and more time with your family. You have your priorities set for success and intent, you have great ethics and values. You are always such a pleasure to take a bit of time out of my day to watch how your journey is going. Thank you for the beautiful intros they help me calm down. With the beautiful scenic scenes I take this time to reflect and give gratitude for all that I am blessed with. Much love 🤗 🤗
I hope that everyone had a good Easter and a long weekend. Spring is almost here. Well today it is. Tomorrow is winter. Great video Matthew. See you in the next one bud.
Beautiful scenery, love your quality content, and cars, family and vehicles. Try super glue or aloe gel to stop bleeding it works. God Bless you and yours
Yip you're right, much more complicated. In fact I'm lost & not sure what you're doing. Good news, you know what you're doing (hopefully). Hope that thumb is healing from that bad cut. I loved listening to the water at the lake. Nothing more soothing than that. Keep up the good work. God bless!
This is possibly what you need. Kreg R3 Jr. Pocket-Hole Jig System - Portable Kreg Pocket-Hole Jig - Easy Clamping & Adjusting - Includes Positioning Sliders - For Materials 1/2" to 1 1/2" Thick
Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦 First-aid practice...bandaid application...then protect the bandaid 😂😅🎉 My dad used masking tape...I never saw an electrician in my office for a bandaid...they always fixed themselves up and kept on working
I think your lid idea, sounds good. But im pretty sure the edges will bind, when you open and close it. 😢 I could be wrong, has happened b4. Once lo You really do have a good presence on camera. 👍👍
I see you editor Matthew, it's only a matter of time before we return the editor-verse! Oh, and for future Matthew problems, advice from a knife guy with too much experience: Clean the cut and the seal it up with superglue, keeps you from bleeding everywhere and keeps smutz out of your cut. Of course, your local plaster supplier may go bankrupt.
Future Mathew problem!! Take your time and think ahead. You know you will be servicing the heater multiple times...cough cough. Also make supports in middle or it will bow with weight of fridge or whatever else is on top.
Matthew, I was wondering about accessing your under bed storage when the weather is below freezing 🥶. Are you able to access everything (boots, clothes, coat & Dixons etc...) from inside the van? To avoid having to go outside every time you need something? Especially during freezing weather. Just a thought as I am a big proponent of convenience (i.e. lazy 😜) and WARMTH 😂😊. Regardless of my thoughts, good luck! as you continue with YOUR rebuild. You, better than anyone knows what you want and need.
Hey Mathew Penny Brooklyn and CO I was watching you intently🤔 while you where doing your measured up ,and im thinking Mathew Nooooo ,and thankfully , the Mathematician Mathew came through ,could of been nasty 😟🤭anywho your intro was same as usual, just absolutely gorgeous Mathew.Your really a very modest person a Beautiful Father, Son , Brother, Cousin and Freind which you have shown so many times and reciprecated especially by Sheba ,who is warm and loving just same as Penny and your so Genuine ,thats so refreshing THANKYOU ,loving the Build ,Thankyou Mathew.sending to lots of love GODBLESS from Me V Australia
Another great video. That cut looks bad it maybe could use sterestrip (fake stitches) first then the bandage etc. I'm sure your van/ home Is going to be impeccable when it's finished. X x
just an fyi, if you apply Sand and Seal to the wood. your spray paint will cover better. by putting on the face to the frame , are you planning to loose storage space? always like your videos.
Hi Mat those Rustolem spray cans are heavy Your red handle is the answer for using these cans without them feeling heavy. I was painting my Ranger box last summer and found the Rustolem more of a pain to use than some of the lighter cans. Have a nice day. Tom in the Maritimes at the NB-NS border
No no no, it’s 6 & 3/4, I wanted to reach into the video and give you a shake! By making it up as you go along and not thinking in advance about what needs to be done next for your box construction you are learning the better way after the fact, which will be a future Matthew Build Plan in Lucky #3! ;-) Please don’t be mad at my comment, as I could _not_ even do the construction at all. Let alone think about construction order…. Just a noisy back seat driver, I am. _The more times you do it, the more expert you will be, surpassing us all, sir!_
When available space is a critical parameter in the design, think like an aircraft designer. Lightweight materials, efficient design where almost all of the available space is functional and has a purpose. When cornered an ally cat will find a way out even though all exits appear to be blocked. Forget the aircraft design approach, think like a wild, hungry ally cat.
Maybe I missed something but couldn't you also make the bottom of that new frame have the front "hinged" so not only will the top open up the front could also open up to help you get into use both arms to get at your heater? Ex. Left arm go through the top and the right hook under the front? I am less a carpenter than you (probably 100% less) and could be totally not helpful but it was a thought that flew through my little brain and thought it might be helpful. Feel free to ignore it. Great job on the build. Please take care of your thumb. Try and use a glove all the time to help keep it clean during the build.
Wow, Matthew, you're really putting in the work on this van build! Despite the setbacks and challenges, you're pushing through with determination and creativity. Take your time, and remember to take care of yourself along the way. We're all rooting for you!
Thanks, will do!
Take care of your thumb you don't want it to become infected. Hi Penny! Keep smiling!
What a FANTASTIC opening ...the water, the mountains, the silence and the serene BEAUTY of it all!🙌. The lovely Sheba and PRETTY Penny!🐱 ...and the EDITOR for the 'WIN'!🎉🤗💖😇
Use superglue to close that cut. I learnt that trick from an army medic. I use it all the time, so do my kids and now grandkids.
yes its absolutley true also The gel from aloe vera plant ,I always have both handy🥰
I know this probably already built but its good someone isnt paying you its good work but slow as hell , its like watching a tv show that never ends i dying to see it done keep up the good work
😂 yeah - I don’t have the luxury of being able to work on it for 8 hours a day. Slowly but surely! Thanks for watching
My cat Penny sitting here watching you build . She enjoys seeing your Penny and actually tries talking to her.
Hope your thumb heals ok.
Clean it up really good and put crazy glue on the cut when you close it. Works every time
Try not to stress too much. You'll get it done how you want it to be..have faith in you...cuddles to penny❤

I am happy that you noticed that measurement error before you cut them all wrong. I’m a retired math teacher, and yes, I was screaming.
how blessed you are to live in such a beautifull place.

Love your videos. Entertaining, educational, fantastic scenery and music. Just the Best 🎵🌲💦🙏💜🤗
I’m liking your makeover. Lucky 2.0 👍🤗. I’ll be leaving Vancouver Island in a couple weeks for Calgary to build my van out 🙏😎🚙🇨🇦
The sound of nature is THE best intro music - love the running water. Crackling fire counts as nature, too, right..? 👍🏻
I love your Mom's hoodie!
Awesome video
Beautiful opening, it’s so peaceful ☺️ The beautiful Sheba and Penny always makes me chuckle when she flops back down in her spots 😹 Can’t wait to see the finished cabinet 🙌 Have a great evening, Cheers 🍻

Every time he says, "What did I need?" I say "Make a list, Matthew! Make a list!!!!!" But i am a list maker by nature.
Love a list! I use man app on my phone to make lists when I’m not near a pen and paper ☺️
Hello Matthew l am looking forward to see the final outcome of your new build.
Great opening love love love water ❤❤❤❤❤
Hello from Beautiful British Columbia Canada 🇨🇦
First-aid practice...bandaid application...then protect the bandaid 😂😅🎉
My dad used masking tape...I never saw an electrician in my office for a bandaid...they always fixed themselves up and kept on working
I draw all kinds of pics when building something. It helps. Keep on keeping on Matthew! God Bless! Granny Lee
I think your lid idea, sounds good. But im pretty sure the edges will bind, when you open and close it. 😢 I could be wrong, has happened b4. Once lo

I love this soooo much thank you!!!!!💚💚💚 0:16
I was 1 saying Matt saying it wrong lol🤣🤣
Hi Matthew. I hope your plane keeps the heater away from your heavy wiring. Or you have some hest shield. 👍👍
Quick tip... . use superglue to seal cuts
Definitely take care of that thumb! Hopefully you don't need stitches.

Nice scenery hun ......
Take care of ur thumb Matthew😊
I think you could have used a stitch or two in that thumb?

Editor Matthew reference? I'll take it!
🙋♀️ Yup that was me yelling about 6 3/4 !!! Please take care of your fingers you need those for a long time to come.
Even in the stillness and quiet of nature, humans find a way to interrupt.
Your Matthew math is hurting my head 😂😂😂 but i trust you got this and just nod along and say nice work... nice work... 🤕🤕🤕👍👍👍
6 and 3/4!!!!
LMAO I was one of those saying "NOOOOOO!! It's 6 3/4" but then I said ehhhh that's a future Matthew problem 😂😂😂" Quality content, Quality content!!"
You need a small divider for your screws..easier to keep up with them..
I knew that you would catch the measurement was 6 3/4! 😂
Hi Matthew
Hi Alan
Wish I had your skills and know how.
Well I’m guessin’ Rome wasn’t built in a day 😳🤔🤔🤔😉😂😂😂….keep on truckin’
Watching you sit on the bed platform made me wonder about head clearance once the mattress is installed. Kind of looks like it might be close.
Praying for fast recovery of your finger 😮
Superglue that cut, or at the very least use steri strips.
Best to keep the hand above the heart so it can stop bleeding.
Another great video. That cut looks bad it maybe could use sterestrip (fake stitches) first then the bandage etc. I'm sure your van/ home Is going to be impeccable when it's finished. X x
Hey Matt put superglue on your cut it holds and it is safe I do it for myself when I cut have a great day
Aaawwww man! Don't show cookies!😂
Good evening Mr. Matthew
Happy birthday matt🎉🎉🎉 if it was your birthday like your videos thanks for all your hard work
October, I think? Somebody in comments just had a bd, tho.

You really need to quit aggravating Editor Matthew, Mr. Allen. 😜👍
2😂
Just saw your comment and just started the vlog. I've been pushy for Editor Matthew's return. Really looking forward to this vlog.
Be careful when slicing and dicing! Lucky 2.0 is going to be fantastic!
Love you man!😊

Hey Matt , lets talk about your double personality or should I say multiple personalities on your next video😀 Hope the thumb is feeling better.
