What an improvement! Probably looks nicer on the video than it actually is, but this is looking quite good inside and out. She’s not shiny penny new looking, but pretty darn decent for an old RV. Looking forward to the next video.
That camper looked like the big old rollin turd from the movie RV after it went into the lake. Now it looks practically new, at least on camera. Great work Jimmy. I have a good friend at church who absolutely loves anything Elvis, and I want to buy one of those pieces of the Elvis jet for her. Can't wait for them to come out.

Been there, back in high school. I went to London to play in the New Year’s Day parade and played at the Royal Albert Hall. Got to see some castles and stuff. This was back in 92 when I was in the 10th grade. Going from south Florida to there was a huge culture shock but I loved it there.
@K F 👋 Hey! Glad you had a nice experience in England. London has its nice parts and not so nice, like any large city anywhere. My family were all from London but my dad wanted out of the fast pace of city life so he & my mother relocated to Norfolk in the late 60's. I've been here ever since and I recently bought my own property in the countryside which I love! I'd love to visit Florida, especially when I see Jimmy flying around, looks beautiful and what gorgeous weather!! So much of America I want to visit. I've been to NYC twice, very touristy!!
@@Brooke52528 Yeah NY is it’s own thing. You wanna come here when you have some time and visit Florida. We have literally a little bit of everything here. My favorite part being over your way was the country side outside the city. Never seen such green grass lol. I want to go back some time and really take my time meeting people and experience it through locals that I meet. I hope you find your way here some day. Florida has its bad stuff like anywhere else but the good heavily outweighs the bad. I live in the Tampa area about 1 hour from where jimmy lives.

As I used to live in the USA we had a 40‘ Allegro Bus. Man I miss it. Unfortunately in Germany 🇩🇪 it would only after thousands of special permits be allowed on the streets.
Really? That sounds very strict! I think it's more relaxed here in England and I don't think we require the same permits that you speak of.

I’m glad I’m not the only one who will spend a fortune bringing something back to life. Is it a financially sound thing to do? No but it’s satisfying and that’s why I’m a poor ole country boy.

OK, it's been bathed - good job. A few fixes, and maybe it's a thing ... But suggestion: After roof and vent repairs, suggest a roll-on roof coating membrane ~ and then, maybe Anti-Fouling marine paint on top of that. I'll bet it would cut down on the mold restarting up top and alleviate some of the need to go up on the roof, possibly further damaging things ... 🙃
Yes, that’s the back side of the refrigerator. They make a kit to convert that refrigerator from a gas to a compressor style.

Big RV's are either a Money Pit, or your new hobby! Slap some flex seal on the holes on the roof then roll out the flex seal liquid to recoat it and you're golden.

You should get a few Ozone generators and let them run inside it for 30 min or so at a time over the next few days. It will cut the musk and work towards killing off any mold. It will make it smell like a swimming pool for a short while after.
I think you could probably sell the RV for enough to buy a better school bus to use for the Elvis rig.
It dang near looks new!! I hope it's a cheap fix, well not to bad or affordable...
Fix the RV's roof first, go with FlexArmor Spray-On Roof, and replace any skylight, Frig cover, AC covers too, dump the satellite dish and go with Winegard Wifi, TV and FM antenna, and get a Starlink for internet. Buff out the RV too, and change the oil and all the fluids, belts, tires etc etc. Make it reliable and good looking.And you could have it wrapped and have look like the 310. Have fun Jimmy .

Would love to have a RV like that. But the only thing is I am in a wheelchair lost both my legs above the knees at my job in 1993. You have to have a RV with a wheelchair lift installed when its new I was told. Plus the inside is not wide enough for a wheelchair. I bought a shuttle bus has a Duramax Allison trans. An a wheelchair lift installed already. So I am building my own. One like that would be so nice but you do with what you have.

Nice clean up, for the underinformed, there is a vast difference between mold (mildew) that is black and black mold. No scientist but looks like the potential for death is one of them..one higher than the other. Love the channel..

Regarding the Elvis Jet. Have you tried to reach out to the pilot who flew Elvis in that plane? I am sure he would have some interesting stories during those times in that plane. I know there is one pilot who flew for Elvis, but never flew him in that plane. If you can get a way to talk to the pilot who did, that would be a bonus for you.

Jimmy, there's another RUclipsr who goes by the moniker of Sleeper Dude. He's nearly finished building an RV with his family on their farm in Tennessee. Yes, they have animals on it. Whst he and his family did was completely changed it, which was for the better. It was put on a Chrysler chassis. They put in another, never used before an air cooling system, the complete interior, and used the same windows that were in it when they bought the RV. The section they're currently working on is where the driver sits. Thst section is so rusty. I believe they'll finish it in the next video. After they're finished it, they're planning to go on a vacation in it. The original RV they had was powered by a Ford big block 460 engine. They needed to sell it because of the problem that couldn't be fixed by them. This was due to Josh not bringing any tools with him.

Jim. That looks like a different camper. Best get that hole patched up asap because you dont want rotted ceiling inside. That rectangle half broke screen thing on the roof is the refrigerator vent. And the screen is to prevent stuff , and animals getting in there doing damage to the fridge
Well Jimmy I hope you come out better than I did on my old diesel pusher motorhome, because I purchase a 1998 Fleetwood Discovery Diesel Pusher with a 24 valve Cummins 5.9 liter and I didn't realize it at the time I thought I purchased a pretty good deal because I got it at a pretty good price and I was aware of the fact that I was going to have to fix it up a little bit, but it started to add up in the thousands of dollars. So what I had to do first was to get the radiator flushed out, buy new chassis battery which it ended up being the starter so I just kept the new batteries on the motorhome just in case, had to have an airbag replace, then I got a fuse replace for the windshield wipers to work, then I took it to this RV place were they fixed all the water leaks and there were quite a few and they upgraded the water pump for the house part so the faucets would do right and I have some more work done inside with the generator or the wiring to get everything like it's supposed to be and then after them fixing the air condition it started to act up on me it was just one thing after another and then the diesel motor started to leak coolant off of the head so that was going to be thousands of dollars of a replacement so I just sold the motorhome to some people that were aware of the issues, but when you buy these things that are cheap or giving away a lot of times you just adopt a headache unfortunately. But I hope you great success with yours.

Use Dicor on the roof around all of the roof entries. Rest of the roof if it’s a rubber roof use elastomeric roof coating. Let me know if you want a satellite tv I can get you the best deal out there.

I knew that was a nice unit just knew the TLC and cleaning give it a good whack to. Check the age of the tires may need to replace them for safety :-). Glad you're keeping it I thought you were going to use it for the Elvis plane.

I sold motorhomes for a while and Titebond was always great tool to use instead of np-1. Don't forget to push your slide-outs out and wash them and your roll out canopies! I have to imagine you change the fuel filter? Did it still perform under 50 miles an hour?
Gotta refinish those headlights Jimmy! Clear headlights will take years off it's look!
Lesson for today: Only park it under a car port or in a garage. Or in jimmmezs case an aircraft hanger.
