    Many thanks THGT for a concise and unbiased video. I'm not sure what to upgrade to at present. Both the Deus 2 and the Legend seem like very good machines. Saying that, there is a huge price difference. Many thanks for your time.

      My pleasure. Thanks for the kind comment. They are both very good detectors in my eyes. No doubt a price gap between them. I leave it to the viewer to decide what is worth what.

    Nice review John. Really a good example of how your dirt creates havoc to the air testing. That was a great idea to put both in one video.👍

    From what I've seen on another channel, the 9" coil does much better on small gold. Great tests!

    How about that sp24? They stuck off the coast in those cargo ships? Honestly the Deus 2 seems a little confusing. But it seems like a very good machine.

    Great review and testing THGT! Thanks for taking all the time to make the test videos. Cotton candy soil…LOL… I love it . I have crap soil here in OH, too, btw, any idea what your soil GB at with and AT Pro or ATMax? The D2 seems to do pretty well on most all of the tests. So… are you going to keep it or sell it?

    Great review John. I'm kinda rethinking my 11" coil choice now 😳

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  2 года назад

      Thanks Liz! 9in is for sure the coil of choice for most - deservedly so. I do like this 11 however...it has proven deep in my soil, and coverage is great.

    Can I use my ORX coils on the ORX shaft and just buy the deus2 remote? I realize I more than likely just hand hold a deus2 remote.

    • @thehuntergt
      @thehuntergt  2 года назад

      ORX coils will not work. Shaft is cross compatible. WS6 headphone will control the coil. Lite versions are "coming soon" according to XP.

    • @Lookin4Things
      @Lookin4Things 2 года назад

      Ok, I elaborate on your reply, full multifunction frequency coils belong on the deus2, 9" centrics and 11" x35 are for ORX. I should try and delete my original inquiry, so it doesn't look dumb. Thank you for your time and effort on this.

      @@thehuntergt you’ve always kinda liked the CTX-3030. We started detecting around the same time. I waited until just last year to buy a CTX. I traveled from upstate NY to Long Island to buy mine for $1,100. A couple months later I bought the 13”x17” coil and waterproof Grey Ghost for another $200. There are always deals to be had. Danny, I hope better days are ahead for you. When I started I could only afford a harbor freight 9-function from Craigslist.
