Just got mine. So far I've found every pc of foil I've dropped grilling in the backyard lol. I live in Central NC where there are a ton of old shut down gold mines and prospects. Thanks for the video. Can't wait to get out and find some of those pickers and nuggets the old timers missed. I'm very familiar with placer gold mining in streams and creeks. So I'm not expecting it to be easy. I know it'll be fun hunting and exploring though. Thought long and hard about which machine to get. I couldve spent more but I settled on this one. Once I'm familiar with it more I feel ill appreciate the range of adjustability it has compared to other vlf gold machines.
Damn foil it's everywhere even out in the middle of nowhere ha. Kruzers a good machine for small gold very sensitive but also versatile for parks and beaches
Thanks for your words. The ground does look very good for fossiking here. Gold is usually found 3 or more inches deep with PI detectors though but it's nice trying. I plan to do some trips to outback Australia again for gold. :-) and videos ;-)
This is a hard question to accurately answer. It depends a lot on the density of the ground, soil type and folage or leaf litter. The type of metal, size and depth. As an example a .05 gram or less piece of gold in soft clean on top soil could be found within 2 or 3 inches.
Sounds like a nice responsive machine & only 1.4 kgs too. I'm thinking I might upgrade to one. Nice video, thanks.
