    This is one of the top 10 greatest pool moments. Just cause it shows to outsiders how cool pool players can be.

    It's an exhibition game and it was obvious where he was shooting the ball,it's not like it went around the table and ended up in another pocket. He played a simple shot that was so obvious he probably didn't know that he had to call it out

    It’s so sad that Hendry couldn’t maintain his standard like Williams, Higgins and O’Sullivan have done as they’ve hit their late 40’s.

      Ronnie can't maintain his standard , he's definitely not as good as he was
      He used to be favourite to win tournaments , I've seen him at 11-1 at the start of tournaments
      The bookies prices sort of give you a clue.

      … yes, because he could no longer maintain his playing standard.
      That is why he retired.
      He didn’t want to continue if he wasn’t able to perform to the level he once could & who could blame him.
      Mentally that is hard to deal with.
      As I said, it’s just such a shame, he couldn’t maintain it. The other three players have been able to do this however and are still able to perform at the highest level, all still ranked in the top 10 more than 25+ years after turning professional.
      Incredible.

      I grew up with zitty Hendry winning everything. I'm quite happy that I don't have to watch that any more. It's quite nice to see him relaxing and becoming less single-minded as he gets older.

    what's the rules for pool about leaving a rest or a que on the table? Technically I thought it was ok and up to the player but if a ball hits it then it would be a foul, or i could be wrong...?

      Would be fine in snooker I think, Chinese pool may have different rules or this ref maybe just determined to spoil the fun 🤷‍♂️ if you think about it, almost all shots with a rest have something on the table...the rest.

    What is the white template under the balls that the ref takes away after the break and whats its purpose

      Aligns the balls so that they are all touching - if all balls are not touching, it can affect the run of the balls at the break off so it's very important in pool especially with the pace they break at

By saying silly stuff like that means you have not got a clue what you're talking about. Snooker table is HUGE, with small balls and small pockets. It's anything but shooting balls into a pocket. It's about precision and positional play to even shoot anything to the pocket, not to mention the safety standard you must have in order to even think about shooting anything to the pocket. You cannot compare any game (i mean cuesport) to it when it comes to difficulty. The only exception would be Russian pyramid.
      PS. I'm not a brit! So even here you have no idea what you're talking about. 😂😂
