This should be official cinematic content that Blizzard could buy from you and use as propotionnal material, or even high-quality lore database.
We’d be okay if they hired us! Definitely have many more stories to tell and it’s not something they’ve yet introduced to the game! Maybe one day!
It's incredible how you guys manage to impress me with each one of your videos. I am thankful that there is still people like Jesse and Jeff whiling to put that much effort into this platform, even though youtube keeps screwing over them. Keep up the good work guys!
this was amazing it felt like an animated storybook
Already was looking forward to this but I'm really glad you included the information on the loa.
T'was a good episode.
Dis was a gooood videeo! Rastakhan aproves! Can't wait to change my Shaman and Warrior into a Zandalar! Voodoo maan!
Oh yeah. I needed my Lost Codex fix.
Beautiful, love this video!!! Lost Codex is where it's at. Let's get this channel out and heard.
I really enjoyed this guys! Great work, as always!
Such quality, awesome, keep it up :D
Gosh I love The Lost Codex
The amount of work put into this video beat my favorite recommended lore video for trolls well done.
Rezan: Loa of Kings, God of the Hunt...dangler of troll paladins in front of our faces. :(
There is still hope!
I'm 30 seconds in and I must, MUST thank you for the CC. I'm hard of hearing and ESL so having captions always elevates a video for me, even if the person speaking speaks clearly (as you do!) already. Big thanks for that. I've never watched your vids before, but with the vivid and eyecatching graphics, straightforward and concise explanations... I love the lore of WoW, and this is exactly what it deserves. Thank you for your work.
I appreciate your comment here- it’s actually reminded me that I’ve slacked on entering the closed captioning for later videos so I’ll make sure they’re all up to date with the transcript of the original script!
Thank you for watching !
@@TheLostCodex The captions are much appreciated, but I also understand that they are extra work. Even if some videos lack them, that won't stop me from binging your stuff. It's all good stuff!
You guys have a truly lovely art style. As always I can't wait for more! :)
First somehow? Lol, anyway, awesome as always. I really like the art you guys do. The part where the major city started as just pencil sketches then colored in as game footage blew my mind. I had to rewind it lol.
Awesome episode! :D
Your videos are so great, dude
man, though I was on blizzard's channel for a second, that was great
Please let there be more Zandalar and troll lore.
Man I love the Zandalari trolls. I'm really looking forward to playing as one.
Great stuff, keep it up mon!
Beautiful as always! I love your videos!
Can't wait to create zandalar!
I'M SO PUMPED FOR ZANDALARI DINOMANCER(druid)!
All hail Rezan the true tyrant lizard king
I love this channel! Thank you!
Amazing work, you are great!
Time to rid Azeroth of all alien/mutant influence and reclaim it for Troll-kind
Can’t get enough content.
I love this one!
best music ever mon
Nice pictures.

Let me settle things Ravasaur: with feathers. Raptor: without feathers
There’s also many Ravasaurs without feathers and Gonk is referred to both the Raptor Loa and Ravasaur Loa so feathers may not be the sole difference.
Nice to see someone other than Nobbel doing lore videos. I just can't stand the way he reads script. It makes me tune out immediately. This is much easier for me to pay attention to.
OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG OMG ZAN ZAN TROLLSSSSSS
Zappy boi master race
Y'know, not all the different subspecies of troll were around at first. So using the sand troll, forest troll, etc models was a bad idea as it's not canon lore that they were around during the emergence of trolls. Sand trolls came after the Sundering and the others came after the Zandalari from the Empire of Zul began to explore and settle down elsewhere.
The Zandalari that set out and settled down adapted to their new environments and became new subspecies of troll.
Aside from that, cool video, love the artistic style.
We didn’t use the sand or forest Troll to resemble or prepresent explicitly different troll subspecies. We wanted to show colors and sizes of Trolls of all kind and when we used all playable models, it didn’t look right for the line. We used it to give a uniqueness between models over being officially declared as Sand, Frost, etc.
In our next episode, I talk about the 3 tribes that rise up around the Zandalari. When we show the Gurubashi and Amani fighting, we use two normal troll models and when the Drakkari Is briefly shown, we use a light blue-green akin to hint as to what they become without showing their change.
A lot of visual differentiation or representation on screens are necessary to show variety and uniqueness so we what models when we can!
Ah, I see. Yeah, I definitely get your reasoning there.
Well, good luck with the next episode, looking forward to seeing the visuals there as well!
I do appreciate your attention to detail though! Every model we show, every npc we put in has a story to tell. Some of them are on a smaller scale like these trolls while others, like the background characters in the Eredar episodes, are all important to the story!
Yes thank you for makking this video
Zandalar forever
I find this interesting, and creepy at the same time. But Loa is a name that real people who practice the Haitian Voodoo religion call their gods and spirits.
the quality of these videos mess me up, unreal
no lie i squeak like a little girl seeing thi s!!!!
* loudly snorts *
Got any more of the "good stuff" TLC?
pterrodax are not dinosaurs. They are based on pteradons which are flying reptiles and NOT related to dinosaurs. So Pa'ku and the other pterrodax are NOT dinosaurs
I can appreciate the IRL connection but both the RPG and multiple sources in game classifies them as Dinosaurs. While I understand that real world Pteradons were not properly Dinosaurs, the Pterrordax are. It's actually quite likely the Dinosaur species evolved from elementals in the same way Protodrakes did and Pterrordax fall under the same theory.
@@TheLostCodex
I dont consider them dinosaurs at all, cause they are not. Even if blizz says so, its more likely they just dont know better as a company and called them dinosaurs. So I more see them as realistic then "it looks like a dino, its a dino"
