I'd LOVE a marmoset tutorial! Just started learning 3d for characters these past few months, and marmoset is one of my favorite tools to play around in, but still a lot to learn! The new hair addition looks amazing!
You can't imagine how insanely hyped I was when I saw it and watched all the videos on their website-it was truly a 'feel amazing' moment! Btw They're talking about the root and tip hair and how to change it, in the videos on the site.
Would definitely love to see a full udim based texturing course in Marmoset toolbag 5 once it comes out. I really want to learn texturing in marmoset, the material library is full of some really awesome smart mats but I'd love to see a dedicated course or an in-depth tutorial
It's about damn time that marmoset finally has UDIM and baking support!!!! I hated fiddling in blender just to make Udims work! Even With that alone, it's worth it.
We need more videos about marmoset toolbag! I also think marmo’s texturing capabilities are underrated, it works well for me especially with id maps it’s more than enough for my assets.
Hey abe, love your videos super informative and good vibes always. Could you do a video about render farms? I know game models would use marmoset or unreal, but for "offline" rendering ciuld be great information from your side. ...
Thanks Cesar! and yes i can definitely do a video about that, to be honest the projects i usually do are not in that scale but render farms can be very useful in big scalse projects
Hi abe, i have a question regarding ai: let s say that in 10 in years it will be so powerful that the available 3d jobs will be almost none, what would your plan B be?
Don't try to make career in this field. Use this only as a hobby just like me. 3d jobs will be gone just after 3 years from now, AI is growing like a crazy.
Hi Abe. Can you help me with a Marmoset 4 question? I cannot get my turntables to rotate on a center pivot for anything. Can you explain how I can set my model up properly to pivot and be centered? I cannot find any vids on youtube explaining the process. Thanks so much for any help.
@@JansifyArt they usually offer an upgrade, that's how I got mine I initially got a marmoset 2 license and have been upgrading every time a major release is announces. But not sure how they will do it this time
@@AbeLeal3D Oh i meant more like when to expect to be able to buy the new release roughly (i know you said there is no official release date but i thought it couldn't hurt to ask from your experience) I do appreciate the super fast response btw thanks a lot!
Marmoset support here, release date and pricing information has not been released, however you can use this time to activate a free 60 day trial to the beta for Toolbag 5!
@@franniebear2676 Oh thats actually a brilliant suggestion! Thanks a lot im gonna get it immediately :D (for some reason i didn't think of it myself this time even though i usually love to try demo versions)

I have a question. If i am making a character should i make it in final pose or do a t-pose, but then how to pose it further then t-pose.
t pose or A pose, then you rig and pose, that is what i did with this one
Might be a stupid question but when could i expect a perpetual license for 5 to be available ? Id assume buying 4 now makes no sense.

Did they add light linking?
i didnt see it mentioned on the documentation
I just bought toolbag 4 :(
@@paulzielske3236 I'm sure they will give some accesible options, they have always been great with this
An annoying alternative with marmoset 3/4 is to import the model in blender and assign 1 material for each UV island
which one is the boss between substance painter and marmoset?
@@adekunlekadelu7873 substance painter is more well know for it's texturing, marmoset wins by a lot in terms of rendering and presentation.
ok, but why marmoset? animation is? i can do something or only show models? i use arnold in c4d but i like to know about this program
it has a lot of futures, you could done the full baking, texturing and rendering process in a single software
