- Join us as we fly Porter Reserve on the inaugural flight from Toronto to Tampa. We were there to capture the celebration at Toronto Pearson International Airport where Porter Airlines executives discussed what it means to fly Porter, they also gave away a grand prize to one lucky passenger which was round trip airfare for 2 to any Porter destination.
Each passenger on board received a $150 flight credit to use towards a future Porter flight.
Porter redefined the economy experience with beverages served in a glass, free beer and wine for everyone as well as premium snacks.
If you are looking to fly Porter first class, Porter Reserve is your ticket to a great experience.
In this Porter Reserve review, you will see the meal selections onboard this flight, which consisted of four different choices. Each passenger also received an appetizer which was a 7-layer Mexican dip.
The celebration did not stop in Toronto, when passengers arrived in Tampa they were greeted to a celebration where a pirate placed a Tampa International Airport necklace on each passengers neck, and the Tampa airport staff gave away gift bags.
Wow, that was a fun inaugural! I'm going to be focusing on content featuring smaller carriers and airports for 2024, and Porter is definitely on my to-do list :)

That’s awesome! What are you thinking for 2024?
@@pathlesstraveled Lots. Stay tuned!
Like Porter. Like the 2 @ 2 config. Will be my choice for domestic and cross border when available.
Seems like a good carrier.
Flew the inaugural return. No complaints , was booked on the following Sunday to come home, missed my first flight due to being stuck in customs, second flight I was rebooked on, had an engine issue which was disappointing because the aircraft is not even a year old it also was pulled from the hanger. We get towed back into the gate and they pull a replacement plane. The crew timed out for the 7pm departure and Porter cancels. I understand how it works but not a good start, especially since that plane stays overnight in Tampa. Me and about half the flight rebooked on Air Canada, for a 7:15am departure to TPA. It was an older mainline A321 but very comfy, with IFE and a inflight map. I hope the best for Porter, but with AC, Flair, and just last week Lynx, they have some serious competition. Nice vid!
Thanks for the comment! Man, it seems anything that could have gone wrong, did. We have to agree Air Canada's A321 product is very comfortable, glad you made it back after what probably seemed like forever!
A-321, comfortable? Didn't he sit in the middle seat?😅
WE need completion. Flying and have to pay for the seat like in some American companies is outrageous!
Porter will dominate Regional Aviation in Canada with these Embraer Planes, they are Quieter Planes, use less Fuel, and emit less CO2 than other Planes. In addition to being safe...Embraer saved St Helena Island Airport from being closed because of strong winds, only Embraer can land and take off on the Island, Images from this Platform below.

Beautiful images, congratulations.
Você é Brasileira hein?!

Did they give you a water canon salute upon arrival?
We’ll be off to Tampa 9 months from now. I keep pricing Porter, A/C , Westjet and later this week Southwest’s schedule is to come out. A/C’s comfort price is a little more than Porter’s comparable seat and options. Westjet cheaper but no refund so that explains cheaper price. Maybe the fares will drop in tje meantime, maybe they’ll go up? It’s still a ways off so if I do opt to book now with refundable fare then it’s open to cancel and rebook for less. Once southwest from BUF is published I’ll have another one to compare. I would really like to try Porter though.
Never flown Porter
But I've heard nothing but good things about them
My cousins son is a Pilot for them
They are a rare gem, definitely a solid product and experience
Did you have to pay for alcoholic drinks and food?
With Porter it is free!
Great they go to San Francisco. Airlines are charging $10,000 first class tickets.
Porter offers what economy cannot offer you in the US.
Porter has a habit of delayed departures. Would not consider them again. The Porter reserve seats are tight and not the room as expected. Cold meals not hot meals are served. WIFI is garbage
Rent a private jet if you have the money, is much more comfortable.
Tight seats? I don't believe you at all. At over 18 inches it is wider than most other jets including any 737 and 787 in economy. The only aircraft that is wider is Air Canada's A220.
