You can get a digital boarding pass in Porter Classic, it depends on what fare you buy. Fare and seating are two different things. Even if you get the basic fare and do not have a boarding pass, go see and be nice to the agent, it's a great way to get a free upgrade! The plane is "hot" because the engines are not running during boarding; the engines provide air circulation. The aircraft itself is sitting in the sun and will heat up. This is normal on any aircraft type and will clear after pushback/takeoff. You can open the fan above your seat to help that before departure. Ideally, the ground crew at the airport (usually not employed by Porter) may supply air circulation from a ground powered unit. I did my research on this aircraft and I personally love how quiet the cabin is in-flight and how fuel efficient the engines are; makes me feel good about my choice and the environmental impact. Oh and by the way, how is never having to sit in a middle seat not amazing!!

Watching a few different videos about Porter airlines makes me realize that when I fly with them for the first time in 2 months, to choose a seat with extra legroom. I might choose Porter Reserve for my first flight.🤔
Good video. We’ve the seats 2 rows behind the reserve, classic stretch, freedom fare reserved for a Tampa flight from YYZ. After watching your video I’m pleased with our seat selection location and this seat choice gives 2” additional legroom than the regular classic seats so it’s a compromise giving 2” more than regular seats but 2” less than the reserve seating. Your video also gave a good view of this seat location as I was concerned how the window lines up with the seat and it looks good. All this said maybe we should opt for reserve 😉
No, its actually an excellent airline. This guy was just unlucky to run into a ruder flight attendant (Porter's FA's are usually top notch) and the meals are usually better.
I have a USB cable but can't plug it into any the supplied ports. Signed up for an account but kept getting redirected to a therapy website. This is extremely weird too me.

You would rather be in a 737 with a middle seat? We have booked on Porter for 2 reasons, the seating and it’s cheaper than an old 737 or an Airbus 200 from A/C.
@@pixie3393 737 has 3 and 3 seats as well as a200’s. Someone will be in the middle seat doesn’t matter what your selection is. Try sitting on a 4 hour flight with a mate who has an overactive bladder and wants a window seat. A stranger as well as yourself has to get up squirm around and repeat. 2 seats are a lot more comfortable than 3 in a row.
Absolutely NOT worth it they left my brother stranded with no help when they had to have an emergency landing for another passenger. Told my brother they'd help arrange to get him on his connecting flight with another airline and when it was time to do so as he missed a flight they refused to help telling him it was the other airlines problem. Absolute garbage service, we will never book with them again there is 0 customer support

B27 is NOT the only gate that porter uses at YVR. I work in catering and have serviced Porter at B26, B22, B21, and B20.
