This is cheesy but, after my husband died I was failing at everything, including just getting out of bed. I was a mess, laying around watching RUclips videos, and saw GMM and watched one. It was the first time I laughed in months! I binged watched a dozen episodes and then got up. I showered! I ate! I went outside a little lighter than I had been. Those episodes translated into many more. They were amazing and I am so grateful for how they made life a little better.

I was upset too because I enjoyed it a ton and we got quite a few iconic characters from it. I'd love to see it come back in some form one day, maybe even as a mini-series during the summer or a single episode at the end of the year. And if that wasn't possible, maybe just revisiting the parts of it that did work and incorporate into GMM or their Rhett and Link channel where they used to do all the skits and songs. Maybe the audience just wasn't ready for it the first time. :/

Theres a joke that musical artists these days are in the t-shirt business, what with most album sales going through downloads and streaming. As such, the comedy metal band Psychostick is constantly putting out new shirts, many of which are one-off jokes from their songs and videos, some of which arent even related to their music. This creativity helps them with all their operations, in funding albums and productions. Goes to show, I'd you can appeal to your audience properly, you can really prosper well in any business situation. Its actually helped them build their own studios, and during this quarantine, allows them to put on weekly free shows on youtube, facebook and twitch.

#earbiscuits I personally enjoyed this podcast and would be interested in hearing more like it, even as someone who doesn't run a business and has no plans to! There are lessons to be learned here that, like Link said, can be applied outside of business as well. More than that though, I care about you guys and am fascinated with how you've evolved, so I'm always interested in learning more about you guys and your process.

I'm struck by how humble Rhett and Link are. They are obviously well aware of the amazing thing they have created and still hold it so dear. Rhett talking about Mythicality and how it is bigger than them and their company is what every business leader should strive for. That is what builds an indelible presence and culture.
It has been so interesting watching the show over the years. Over the last few months, I've been watching old content on the Rhett and Link channel that I had never seen before which makes this podcast especially interesting. Hearing them talk about the evolution of what they have created is pretty amazing and so admirable.
Keep it up guys. You are right, your best is still yet to come!

I have to say, you guys (to both Rhett & Link) I have been watching you guys since I first saw your video’s of GMM “trending” on RUclips, they just came up as a recommendation one day after I watched some video & I was instantly hooked. I think it’s because of how the 2 of you remind me of my best friend Josh & I, being goofy yet good people, I’m VERY PROUD of how the two of you had grown, BRAVO you guys BRAVO! Also I am beyond proud of how the two of you had evolved with you audience, you guys seem to take recommendations from them of course through your producer Stevie. You guy ROCK!

My friend Eamon and I just graduated college and we’ve realized that we’re at the point where we need to create things together. Not that we don’t already, but it’s time to actually invest in our professional relationship and create. I feel like our stories parallel Rhett and Link quite a bit and this video was incredibly mind-opening. We’re currently trying to figure out how to brand ourselves and how to make something out of our team, and I can’t thank you guys enough for this video and ALL of the content you’ve created. You’ve inspired me to no end. I wouldn’t be the filmmaker or comedian that I am if it weren’t for Rhett and Link.

Nice shoutout to the merch team. The merch team does do a wonderful job. I like the throwback styles and the abstract artwork or line drawings. My favourite of the recent t-shirts was the Merle tee (I've been a big fan for most of my life.) and the Rhett and Link throwback pictures tee. Y'all did the recreation pictures of those pictures. It'd be cool to do the same shirt, but with those pictures. The other one sold out and that one would too. The upcoming clown shark is cute, but one with Link as the clown shark would be awesome. I like the 80s and 90s inspired designs/colours which is weird, because I look back at pictures and didn't love what I wore then. I suppose it's because of the modern twist. I've ordered merch 3-4 times since Christmas... I shouldn't be saying what I'd buy more of.... I already have my eye on a couple of other shirts. I went to order from the Amazon shop and it wouldn't let me because I am Canadian. I may need a merch intervention. I even ordered out of stock merch from someone online who never wore it. Help?

I finished GMM and GMMore today. All caught up. My intention was to switch over to Ear Biscuits as I've seen/heard something like a fifth of season one and everything from Lost Years on. This was a reminder that The Mythical Show is one of the shows I still need to watch. I had planned on stopping to watch it when I hit there in the GMM timeline, but my OCD sees me wanting to finish what I'm in the middle of first. So now I need to go back to it.

I have a small (and very modest) collection of "house" paintings and if you're ever thinking to part with it, I would love to buy it. I for one like the way you run your company, Mythical. It seems to me your path has been a great one. You have an amazing team. I know sometimes some people aren't the right candidate for the position and they have to move on- it's what's best for both parties. Hopefully those talks are far & few between. I do like the structure of your
company. Your steps in business have been sound and solid. I think it would be a great company to work for- you have talented people happy to not only work for you but work with you. You let them create, they have to be accountable, work performace reviews, and you have a blast at work to boot. Yes, you fellas are the best, and I am happy for all your success! I enjoy watching you on TV for Earbiscuits each Sunday- thank you so much for todays conversation. I found myself shaking my head in agreement with the steps you have been taking. Keep up the great content. Oh and Link, how's the shower window been since the stay at home stay healthy order? Hair and beard are looking great Rhett! #earbiscuits
