For those who say it's sexist: this is a song about the attitudes of boys and girls in relationships. In the first half of the song, Alex is singing in the perspective of a guy who sees women as objects and thinks that women should just go out with him. Then in the verse that starts "Sometimes I say stupid things" it is the guy realising that he is wrong and that he should consider how the girl feels. Then the final chorus which changes to "no you boys" is showing how the attitudes of boys in a relationship needs to change. Listen to the lyrics and it is pretty simple.

Excellent song. Politically correct. Attributes selfishness in love to man. Egoism is a human condition NOT gender. On the other hand, a woman changing diapers, cleaning dishes or sweeping does not sell. Therefore it is politically incorrect.

I really don't see all these 'feminist' comments claiming this song is sexist. I only found one, and I'm pretty sure they're a troll. Ya'll need to stop making something out of nothing and enjoy the song.

Still a banging track after how many years. One of my first indie rock bands I discovered in 2004, so glad they've performed in NYC on many occasions.
