Wow guys, you did my homework! Moving there with my gf next week (digital nomads also). Now that you have stayed in the Vidi for longer do you guys recommend it for that budget? We are considering booking in advance to avoid running out of options. We'll see you guys at the gym or coworking most likely!
Glad we could help! Was a bit trickier than we thought 😂. If you’re not fancy then the vidi is great, we are happy for short term but probably wouldn’t stay for long term just cause it’s a bit run down. When do you move?
@@AbbyandGaz In that case we'll book a hotel for a couple of nights while we shop around as we have seen other options with better reviews. Seems like in most cases the apartment state differs quite a bit from the fancy photos 😂 We get there on Saturday next week. I'm sure we'll take that coworking if we live nearby as we prefer calm environments (actually I first discarded it because I thought It would be packed as it's so famous).That gym seems unbeatable too

Me and my boyfriend have just moved to South East Asia to try out the digital nomad lifestyle too! We're in Chiang Mai until early August - are you both still here? Love the videos
Glad it was helpful ☺️ we settled for the vidi as it was cheap and ticked all our boxes! But a lot of them were shut for us to look round cause it was a Sunday I think!
Thanks Dan! And you can apply for a tourist e visa which is 2 months. Then if you want to stay any longer you have to do border runs (cross over to another country and back) but last of tourists do it. Your not allowed to technically ‘work’ in Thailand
