My favourite travel vlog. I discovered your channel while travelling in Mexico. This year, I'm planning a trip to Thailland and plan to stay in Chiang Mai for a month. I was so happy when I saw this video. Awesome work.
Genuinely one of the best videos out there documenting chiang mai. I felt like i was there even if ive never stepped foot in Asia. My goal is to one day be staying in thailand for 6 months every year
As soon as this came on my feed before I knew it I’d watched the whole thing from start to finish. The quality of the production just gets better and better. Must’ve taken you so long to put together, well done man 😎
Aloha Sergio from the Big Island of Hawai'i ! I just discovered your vids, watched one and subscribed. While I'm not a digital nomad or otherwise in your apparent target demographic --more an almost retired (61. y.o.) wanna be expat retiree--I really like your highly informative and entertaining content and production values. Chaing Mai, Pai and "the Loop" are definitely on my list, and you covered each of them really nicely. Mahalo!
One of the best videos on Chiang Mai! You really captured the beauty of one of my favorite cities in the world! Love all the shots of Santitham as well! Def the best part of town to live in.
Great job Sergio!! This is by far the best video about Chiang Mai. So many great coffee shops in Chiang Mai. What I like most about your video is the diverse sightseeing destinations, attractions, coffee shop and restaurants. Also, seems like you have many friends in Chiang Mai, which is awesome. Cheers!!
Chiang Mai is such an ideal spot for digital nomads! 😊 The mix of affordability, co-working spaces, and laid-back vibe makes it a top choice in Thailand! 🌏💻
Love the quality of your videos... I'm in pursuit of becoming loaction independant and your videos gives me motivation to do so.. Muchas Gracias mi amigo
I'm blown away by everything you're showing. Even got tears seeing those elephants! Chiang Mai looks like a fantastic place to hang around for some months. Thanks for the creating this video! I can't wait to go there!
This was such a nice and cinematic video man. So relaxing to watch and not the in your face vlogs. Keep it up! I'm planning Chiang Mai and using your video as a basis. ty!
I'm visiting CM for the second time at the moment and it's one of my favourite places in the world. When my lease in Pattaya is up in 5 months I think I'm gonna move here for 6 months or so because it's just so beautiful and peaceful here. It's so special.
Always great to see your travel videos, whether they’re 5 minutes or 1 hour 👏 Great job! Chiang Mai looks like a dream! I feel so high on caffeine now!
New subscriber here. That was nice and relaxing style of video. Looked like a very good documentary about digital nomad lifestyle in Chiang mai. Enjoyed it till the end
You are so personal and genuine. Very refreshing to watch. You cover all the bases. I love your content, filming and presentation. Congratulations. You earned and new subscriber. ❤❤❤
Appreciate your content like you may never understand Sergio, thank you. You are well regarded in the digital nomad community even when you’re not around! We were talking about you in Las Palmas last month. I’m off to Chiang Mai soon, so this video is liquid gold 🙏 Hope to one day shake your hand!
Hi Sergio, this is a great video. I'm living in CM as retiree. You have covered most of our favourite coffee places in your video. Awesome! I'll also go to the Burmese food stall. Thx for keeping it handy in the Google map list.
Very comprehensive and entertaining too! Love the elephants! My husband and I are planning to stay in Chiang Main next year and would like to get some more info on the best neighborhoods to stay…any material on that? Thanks, all the best!
Such a good and insightful video about Chiang Mai! So many things I got to add to my Google Maps. I will be traveling to parts of Asia this fall and will be working too, and Chiang Mai is definitely a place I'd like to discover as a part of my digital nomad journey :)
The craziest thing about how much of a coffee town CM has become, is that it happened in such a short time. In 2010 you could still only get some low quality coffees from a cart with a bunch of different liquids and powders added to it. Now its like... the most amazing coffee shop culture city in the world maybe.
¡Gran video, Sergio! ¡Mucha suerte, bro!"
Thank you for creating such an informative video on Chiang Mai. It's one of the best I've seen. I've taken so many notes for places to visit, especially for our daily Coffee fix! 😅 Can't wait to spend a month in Chiang Mai 😊
Thank you so much for this video. We are thinking about visiting Chiang Mai and we love the way you presented it. You put so much work into this video. Michas Gracias 🙏 😊
Experiencing Thailand’s beautiful landscapes with elephants sounds unforgettable! 🐘❤ Mornings with majestic animals and stunning scenery would make any trip truly magical! 😊
There is still a Yang Na tree road. at the tall tree and the Calae restaurant with its winter flower gardens and hillside lake. Best 20 Cafa & restaurant near chiang mai city 😊
Note: The Temple Buildings that say Men Only are ordination halls for monks. Because of the vows that monk make in that hall women are not permitted. It may not be easy for visitors to understand why unless it is explained.
Good times! The Lantern Festival was hilarious. We burned 2 lanterns at first, before we understood how to release them. Luckily they had plenty of them🤣
Awesome video Sergio!! Fantastic production and very helpful information!! Chiang Mai is one of the best places to live as a Digital Nomad in the whole world and the best thing is the nice people you meet there! Congratulations!! 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼
Chiang Mai really does offer such a warm, welcoming vibe for digital nomads! 🙌 The community there is amazing, and Sergio's video captured it so well! 😊
Sergio. I can see why you use a small laptop. Good battery life, small tables, small backpack riding on a scooter. Would you gain a large benefit by having a good sized monitor, 100% Adobe RGB, DCI-P3, Rec 2020, sRBG, high nits, HDR 1000, OLED, mini-LED -- or is the Mac good enough? If you could could get your hands on a good monitor at a workspace or residence, what specs would you want? TIA (Thanks In Advance.)
I'm actually happy with just the Mac. They just released the 15", could be an upgrade for me but MBA 13" it's totally fine for me, even exported this full long video.
9:17 It is because it is an Ubosot. it is a place where they do male monk ordinations. It isn't like a regular temple. Women are allowed in all of the Thai buddhist regular temples. Just not the ordination halls .
Great content. Question: where would you recommend for an elderly couple to rent for 3 months ( immigration law restriction) without a car and without any interest in riding mopeds
This is epic! By far the best video on Chiang Mai and has some great places. I am staying in Santitham. Hit me up if you want to share places over a ☕️

Hi Sergio, is it better to book accommodation in advance online? Or is it cheaper to show up somewhere like P Place and pay in person?
I think you can get a good deal if you get there
Is there an option to rent a bicycle instead? Not to keen in scooters and motorbikes tho
It’s possible but the city is not that ideal for it.
