Of the handful of videos I've watched of yours, I've pretty much been wanting to try every single recipe. Everything sounds so good and your videos are so well edited! Best channel ever!
I just made them and they taste really good!! I doubled the recipe and used ceylon tea leaves instead:) I also had to bale mine for 30 more minutes than requured, so so total about 45 minutes. For those who are wondering, these cookies are the crumbly kind. It is much like Hari Raya cookies / Chinese New Year cookies, at least the kinds that you commonly find on sale in Singapore/Malaysia (idk about other countries). I made a batch for my non-vegan friend as a gift and will be giving it to her tomorrow! I am really excited sorry hahaha :)
WOW !!! This recipe immediately caught my heart. I am going to bake it for my friends today. Thank you so so very much. Not just for the recipe but also for your videos being piece of art. You are the Kurosawa Akira's of cooking videos. Watching your videos gives me such a pleasure. Thank you!
If anyone is wondering this is a great recipe that you should definitely try 😍 Ive made it 5 times, tried switching the coconut milk for soy milk/almond milk, used black tea and even tried with chamomile tea, and even reduced abit of sugar, ALL GREAT!! Im not sure what the texture is supposed to be but i liked it when it was a bit crunchy n also when its soft. A tip is to leave it alone for a few hours as the tea flavors can seep in and be more pronounced. I sometimes use heart cookie cutters too to make it cuter 😊👍 THANK YOU FOR THIS RECIPE!!
I made these today! I didn't have any earl grey, so I used black tea and spices (cinnamon, clover, cardamon, maca powder). Everything else was the same, I weighed all the ingredients. I kept a close eye, so they wouldn't burn or dry out too much. Mine baked in 11 minutes + 5 min just resting on the hot baking sheet. They were soft, delicate and absolutely delicious. Not overly sweet, the smell was great and they tasted like tea. The only issue I had with mine was that they were completely gray. Maybe, I blended the tea too much. I made a bit of icing using coconut milk powder, coconut oil and a bit of maca powder (for colour and taste). Then, I sprinkled them with some cinnamon. They looked very elegant after that, haha. Thanks. Subscribing to your channel was one of the best things I've ever done.
Your kitchen 5:07 with all the appliances lined up is half my dream. The other half of my dream is a bigger, better kitchen with more appliances and gadgets!!!
Your videos keep me inspired to recreate these recipes for myself. The end result may not be as pretty as yours but practice makes perfect. 😊 Thank you for sharing.
Thanks for the recipe! I made this today and here's my experiences. Very easy to make but measuring all the ingredients is a bit annoying at times. Use the carton coconut milk instead of the canned ones just because that's what I have lying around. Dough turns out to be very soft (a bit thicker than a pancake batter) and hard to roll into a dough. It got a bit better once I freeze it but still quite hard compared to what the video has. The final product turned out to be awesome. Crunchy on the outside and soft & cakey on the inside. Wishes it to be less sweet and more earl grey flavor! Next time I'll def add more flour or less milk, also less sugar. Thanks again!
I love your videos even if tough just subscribed., I would describe them as quality videos. I love the editing and how the idea of peaceful cuisine really fits in with your work! :)
I find your videos very relaxing and calming, I really need this right now because I'm angry and want to cry at the same time. Thank you that you make me forget for a couple of minutes what terrible things are happening
They are great! I used only 18g instead of 40g sugar, and may reduce it even more the next time - I'm definitely making these again! Thanks for the recipe :)
I saw your video and instantly made these once with green tea and once with english breakfast and bith taste amazing! Also your videos are utterly beautiful
Is it possible that you do a BTS-video? I'm really interested on seeing how much time you actually spend on filming/moving around equipments and stuff like that!
dough from this recipe is awesome! i actually thought it was impossible to make this kind of cookies from vegan ingredients only, i thought it would be necessary to add cow milk or yeast or eggs or something... i'm glad i was wrong! just made sesame cookies (sesame seeds topping + sesame paste in dough) using dough from this recipe and it was delightful! thanks from Russia!
I just made these and they were good!! I added soy milk because i was scared the coconut milk would overpower the earl grey. These were not too sweet as well, i had a couple at one go. If you'd like a stronger earl grey taste, i suggest doing 11/2 tbsp earl grey!! Thanks for this recipe!! ;)
Beautiful in every way, Would English Breakfast tea work as well? I see you have said yes to Matcha. I used to live in Japan, so I'm loving the essence of your work. Thank you.
I love your videos! Can you tell me about how many cookies this recipe makes? I'd like to give them as gifts to my family and friends! thank you very much!
Hi Ryoya, Maybe you'll find interesting to know I had good results in doing a gluten free version of your Pumpkin Biscotti using buckwheat flour and adding more (hemp) milk for the consistency. Thanks for your inspirational videos. Have a nice day! ^_^
Made these last night and they were a hit! I baked them for 15 minutes and added the tapioca starch but they came out to be more of a soft, moist biscuit consistently. They were also very light in color. They were still delicious, however, will baking these longer give a more crunchy cookie? I was worried about them being dry so I took them out right at 15 minutes.
+Cheryl Ferguson I know this is and old question, but I am wondering if that oven isn't a convection oven; many of the cooking times listed in these recipes would be too short for a conventional oven.
Been browsing your videos feeling lucky every one had been vegan and worrying the next might not be vegetarian so there wouldn’t be a chance I could make it... just realised you are actually vegan lol
I love Earl Grey tea, I have to try these! Maybe I'll put some icing made from candies sugar on top, depends on how sweet they are :) But I'll replace the coconut milk with cow's milk or cream, I don't really think the coconut and the Earl Grey flavour go all that well together
You're my favorite person on earth Umm by the way can you make something flourless and starch free maybe as a cookie, cake or bread substitute for the next video? *if that was even possible* Thank you
I made these cookies yesterday and shared them with my friends-- everyone absolutely loved them! Thank you so much for sharing!
Oo just out of curiosity, what was the texture like? Is it more crumbly like a shortbread cookie or chewy like a sugar cookie?
@@orangeystrawberry crumbly. They ar epretty good, I can recommend you trying them out (although I personally would only use half of the sugar)
Of the handful of videos I've watched of yours, I've pretty much been wanting to try every single recipe. Everything sounds so good and your videos are so well edited! Best channel ever!

+June Osman Hahaha i can't help but hear "shaaat aaaap !!!"
haahaa, the video is so quiet, it almost seem as if the oven is his only companion. i thought it was cute =)

Had the same experienced, thought it was because I used butter instead of coconut oil, will reduce the oil next time and sugar as well.
I haven't even tried making any of these I just binge watch them because there so relaxing and chill
