Sadly, it's inevitable that Ai becomes commonplace, but to what degree depends on what humans do to oppose it. Hollywood has the best chance at controlling the outcome due to the power that actors wield. I also think it's important for people to play with Ai as they would any tool. It does have great benefit if you understand its role. It will make people less fearful of it. Sadly, the genie is out of the bottle, and we've never come face to face with something smarter and more capable than humans. Those shows require hours and hours of work to put on, people deserve to be justly compensated for their time and effort, otherwise it's not worth having an industry at all.
@@CourtFisk-fs6zf I’m an essential worker or that’s what they say. I work 72hrs a week. All my bills are paid and have nothing left over. And when I’m not working or sleeping, I’m outside doing stuff, so no I don’t watch tv or movies. If I do watch anything, it’s on RUclips. So you can see I don’t care for services that aren’t necessarily important to day to day living. Especially if it’s a work agenda. FYI I’m a first generation latino. Parents were immigrants that came here with nothing
@soyascencio
Well, since you don't care about it, maybe you shouldn't be here wasting your precious time. Posting strong opinions About things that don't matter to you.
Live and let live.. Hopefully there's people standing for you when AI comes for your job.
Special effects artists got replaced by computer animation, classic animation again got replaced by computer animation. For someone who has a degree in computer science I'm surprise she's taking the stance that she is. She should know better than anyone that by trying to stop AI you're stopping innovation. The writers and actors are not going to stop it they are they're going have to adapt or find new careers.
None of them got completely replaced visual effects artists still exists all these professions exists AI is still limited and with concern coming with stealing intellectual properties it's still controversy
Innovation yeah innovative for the coorperate entities making more money
@@paulaumentado1588 Just like millions of workers in the flyover states who got replaced by machines or their jobs were outsourced in order to increase profits and how did the writers of Hollywood react when that happened.
They mocked the people affected by this disaster.
@@jbagger331 yeah and Hollywood would suffer for it people love creativity all the machine provides is a mixed collage plagiarism in fact Hollywood only cares about money and they will pay for just like in 07
AI will kill us and destroy the economy moron. Are robots gonna buy healthcare, food, products? If all jobs are replaced by robots what will you do???Wake up!
Both these ladies could easily be replaced by ai for 100th the cost.
It's not the same thing.
@@MayAnne-t2j You won't notice the difference and the AI won't do drugs, won't kill a joy boy in a fit of rage etc...
@@MayAnne-t2j It's better
So, with your thinking, we would never have had legends... like James Dean or Marylin Monroe.
We have people starting relationships with their own phone instead of seeking companionship in the real world. All of this is not okay.
@@plurtwink We just replace the legends
Bill Gates and Elon become the Olympic lords, and there are tons of minor legends everywhere
We don’t need Hollywood actors to have legends
just replace them all with AI. actors aren't a necessary item in society.
Hopefully, the strike will last forever.

It's called progress
No it's called killing people and the economy. Are robots gonna buy food, healthcare etc? What are you gonna do when a robot takes all the jobs???
You call it progress, until it's coming for your job...
Stand up for the rank-and-file, the writers. Not greedy assholes trying to use their likeness without compensation
