TT2 is a triple-launch coaster now. Kingda Ka is the only Starta Coaster So no comparison is needed Since they will be in the same family now. (Six Flags)

Thanks for the info. I'm glad to know the launch system didn't fail. Nor the track transfer. Scary thinking the wheels were failing but good to know they caught it before one completely failed. I thought for sure the OG top thrill was going to the better ride. But honestly TT2 is much better. That backwards launch is amazing and I had the same air time experiences on the drop after clearing the top hat. I felt like I was going to fall out of the train, It was amazing.

Yep, the fact that it’s sustained from the top hat until you come out of the spiral makes it such a wild experience!

TT2 is junk I rode it twice opening weekend. Kingda Ka was a tad better than Dragster but it’s 100x better than TT2.

Dragster was smoother than Ka and with lap bars was far better than Ka. Now Tt2 although the inital launch is dumb is even better with the sustained speed, spike and airtime from the twist up to the pull out off the tophat...no contest, tt2....even xcelerator is better than Ka
