Ive said it before and ill say it again. Every year at cedar point I feel like the amount of people increase and the operation quality (food, rides, etc.) decreas
They definitely struggle in May Early June tons of schools, majority of staffing is just now getting to the park come July everything seems to go much smoother been like that for 20 years
I’ve been holding out hope that this season, they would finally pull their shit together, but apparently not. I’m thinking of taking a longer trip and go to Kings Island this summer instead. From what I heard, KI has been nailing it when it comes to OPS.
@@Jerrymorrison ki will always be better for operations. near a pair of big cities cicncy and dayton so it will always be easier to staff peoplewise. they are also a little more consevative on coasters (no prototypes) so everything usually runs good.
The pavilion opens early for lunch possibly because they serve two breakfast sammiches up stairs. They come with tots. We had them on Sunday. It’s really good. It opens around 9 or 9:30.
I would love to ride Millie in the fog. My only fog ride was on Boardwalk Bullet, and that was special. The park looked very packed. Last year, I did have Gemini with a full queue, posting 60 minutes, but with 4-train ops, I was on the ride in 15. Gatekeeper was 60-90 at times, but it could also be quite short. I may get back to the park next year, looking forward to riding Top Thrill 3 then, with a makeover by E&F Miler.
KI is our home park and we went up to CP this last Thursday may 16th and it was relatively empty. We had fast passes and I couldn't even keep up with our teens this time with how quick they were getting on everything. Still think Millie is the best giga I've ridden. Sad to see TT2 down though.
This is why I refuse to go to any theme park around opening day/weekend. Even my home park of Dollywood I wait until later to go. But this is pitiful, I would’ve definitely asked for a refund or a ride pass or SOMETHING
I was there on Saturday, too, and I haven't seen it that crowded in a long time. We had Fast Lane passes and the waits were still long. Not sure what was going on at the park that day, but there seemed to be lots of groups of kids--maybe bands or school functions...??? Lots of families and lots of strollers. The fog, the bugs, the crowds,TT2 being closed. Yeah, this was not a great visit for us. Hoping for a better time when I'm back there in October.
HalloWeekends is even WORSE with crowded conditions ESPECIALLY ON SATURDAYS. Sage advice from a former staff member. Stay away from the park on ANY SATURDAYS, especially during HalloWeekends 😢
That was definitely a unique experience, I've never been at CP with fog like that. I rode in the back of millie and riding up into the fog was so neat, the drop was a bit of a surprise, I knew it was close but couldn't see it lol.
@@TheJustinRothShow ah yes i remeber those been many times crazy at night but its my happy place we going for 2 weeks, so worth the 10 hour drive plus my kids first time going
Thank you, it's just that time of year. Around lake erie they get bad this time of year. This is the first time I have seen midges though. The Mayflies will be arriving soon 😂
I would really love to see them do better. 99% of early starts have no food or rides (usually just Millie) And if Gatekeeper isn’t a walk on, it’s time to gooo! Sorry your visit was lukewarm, maybe next time!
What’s absolutely nuts to me (if your the guy with a Bluey diaper bag/backpack) is I saw you getting off the train by Steve and I was like “oh that guy has a mic for recording, I bet he’s a RUclipsr” and now I’m seeing this video. I wish your maverick line clip went 10 more feet back I would have seen my daughter and me lol!
Yes closed until 2025 according to the employee who's seat malfunction. Also, I rode the maverick that day. Bruised arm from arm pit to elbow. Was in emergency room today for it. The seat design literally trashed my arm.

wicket twister and top thill being closed increases all other lines by 10-20 percent:(

Probably, we had the breakfast sandwiches a couple weeks ago. Thanks for watching!
I usually wait to about June so they get all of the kinks out and stuff is running smoothly

Top Thrill 3 🤣

Thursdays in May are a great time to go. Millie is a great ride especially in the back but Fury is my favorite giga.
Millie may be my favorite in the park. I know that may not be a popular opinion, but I’m amazed how much fun every ride on her is.
Kings Island is SOO MUCH BETTER THAN CEDAR POINT
Orion is a GREAT ride and you're not missing anything with TOP THRILL DUMPSTER

Can you tell me please what would be the best time to come (from UK) end of May /beginning of June or mid / end August?
Early/Mid May before memorial day is probably your best bet, ideally Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday
I'd say late august early September .. late may, early June sux cuz the bugs ...
Never go on a Saturday! Least crowded is mid week by far. Thank me later!

I hope you have a better visit next time. I have seen some long wait times posted for FL especially Maverick and SV.

@@keithkleinhampl4662Fast Lane sales really had nothing to do with the crowds at the park.
I was there with my daughter, but I REALLY wanted to get up to the top of Millennium that day! With her, I don't usually ride too many rides though.

I rode coasters in the fog on Millennium Force back in 2018
Pretty cool experience isn't it, riding up into the fog.
2 hour wait for rides that are 20 years old. And the newest ride closed. Not good. Definitely not worth the ticket price.
cant wait to be back june 8th been 5 years
That's too long! I hope you have a terrific time! I think you'll be just in time to see the wonderful Mayflies though.

Yea, unless I lived close and had a pass, that would piss me off…. That’s why I always plan on 3 days minimum when traveling to a park. 👍🏻
My first visit was on that day too. It was a school trip kinda thing. Fog was my least favorite part.
Awesome, the fog was fun on Millennium Force! Thanks for watching!
I worked Disney Attractions for 9 years. I enjoyed your video. What’s up with the bug problem?
