Sorry to be offtopic but does someone know a tool to get back into an instagram account..? I was dumb lost the password. I love any tips you can offer me.
@Lian Johan thanks so much for your reply. I got to the site thru google and Im trying it out now. Looks like it's gonna take a while so I will get back to you later with my results.
Gadd is the most interesting drummer ever. When he is crafting, it’s aways something unexpected. When he is complimenting someone else’s craft, he makes it better with humility. When he goes for impressive speed and quantity of strokes, it still is unique and melodic. Just when you are mesmerized by his light touch and economy of movement, he pops off his seat and hits so hard you can’t believe something didn’t break. His grooves... To apply any adjective other than “Gadd” to them is inadequate. Show me 1000 guys who can thunder around the kit like a mini-gun and I show you this one who can keep solid time and somehow make it sound unique and subdued. My drum teacher (Scott Gorsuch) back in the 80’s tried to get me to appreciate his stuff (I was 13 with a head full of football and Van Halen). I’ve come to understand what he was teaching. He too, was an extremely original and artful musician.
Michael Blicher: Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful concert. I love Steve Gadd for sure he is a genius a great musician. Cheers to all Steve's fans. From New Orleans the city of jazz and the wonderful "cajun" food. USA.
He is playing the Gray Ghost a drum solo from the late 50s early 60s played by the Reilly Raiders drum & bugle corps of Philadelphia at 1:16 (and he is 74 yrs of age so thats inspiring)
I wonder what it takes for the people giving this a thumbs down, to be "worthy" of giving someone credit for their talents? If this doesn't deserve a thumbs up, well........
It's amazing how dead and flat his snare has always sounded until HE hits it. Neil Peart had even mentioned the same thing during the 'Burning for Buddy' sessions. He thought the drums weren't tuned!!
I have had the pleasure of meeting Michael in London and Steve several times. They represent a true, honest perspective of music that is just a complete joy. I hope you are well and look forward to us meeting again ☺️
OMG I am 54 but I want to be like Gadd when I grow up
He brings such excellence to the drums still crazy good after all these years

@Lian Johan It did the trick and I now got access to my account again. I am so happy:D
Thanks so much, you really help me out !
@Tatum Cairo no problem =)
Locks into the groove and never breaks the context of the music.
I hope to be still breathing when i'm 74. Still Gadd it! Thanks for posting this.
Gadd is just the "freight train of groove." Salute.
Gadd plays one very AUTHORITATIVE bass drum, man- that sound, and the precision of it just lays down that foundation so beautifully.

love Gadd! However he been playing the same 4 licks forever ha
Nice words, Michael.
The nel, Yeah. He probably is. And still, somehow, making them sound cool.
When I play my two licks, nobody wants to hear them again.😁
@@MSWSB very true. i wasnt hating on Gadd either. I love him like any drummer with any sense. Musician/drummer
nice comment... for a nice video... in a not so nice world... thank you for the lift

I had the immense pleasure of seeing this concert in Joensuu January 2019!
Thank. Hope to see you again!
High class gig. I know Mr Gadd has created some of the most mind tweaking moments in music.
Great video thank you
Steve always makes music flow well

Steve and his famous paradiddles....aaaaaaawesome.
This is groove, Touch, Skills and experience. Wow. Great ending !
Legend. Thanks for sharing.
Take notes kids. Gadd & Ferrone in a league all their own.
I'm a fan of SG for centuries but I'd like to see a bit more of Michael and Dan as well. I love the synergy between the three.
So great to hear. Visit blicherhemmergadd.com for more music
素晴らしいドラミングです👍やっぱりKINGです👍
Yess! Steve has been working his rudiments and threw them in to close the solo-such a great groove in the solo
GOAT!!🙏
I wonder what it takes for the people giving this a thumbs down, to be "worthy" of giving someone credit for their talents? If this doesn't deserve a thumbs up, well........
OMG....I am duly reminded...one of the greatest players today!
This band is so special. A great sound and unique energy.
Thanks, loving the 'in your face' chance to catch the intricate hi hat meat. Educational groove dynamics.
An American Icon! It's all about the feel and Steve has always had it!
One category alone!
SUPER! SUPER!
Absolutely fantastic!!!✌️
Super!Nice Steve G
Oh my Gadd, Steve’s hands and arms move and flow effortlessly. He pulls off “brush fills” as he would with the sticks. Fanbloodytastic !
Steve is a gravitational player. Heavy in all the right accents. No on does this with quite the feel he has.
It's amazing how dead and flat his snare has always sounded until HE hits it. Neil Peart had even mentioned the same thing during the 'Burning for Buddy' sessions. He thought the drums weren't tuned!!
Gadd is magical.... I could watch and listen to him all day long! 👍🏻🥁👍🏻
Så fedt Michael.........håber at møde jer live en dags tid......

No other has ever been or probably ever will be as tasteful as the man!

Bring back the "Steve Gadd "Japanese Yamaha. In my opinion it's a beautiful kit.
Killin’ it!

Хищный бэнд. Cool groove!

Reilly Raiders 1966 drum corps solo, if I’m not mistaken.
Is that a Ludwig snare he's playing?
1:18 to 2:00...Reilly Raiders ‘66
26 people gave a thumbs down to Gadd! 26 people that are white Stripes fans.
s q u e a k y ... clean
Is that a Yamaha version of an Acrolite snare?
It's my friends 60's Ludwig Acrolite.
KaitsuDrums Is it really? Wow!
He should join a marching band!
He did. Grew up playing drum line.
There is footage of gadd playing with his old army mates.
Who's the lucky b****d witnessing this?! My goodness! Gadd on his best!
Was this the gig in Dublin
Helsinki
Man Gadd is still the best....wonder if he liked Max Roach or Buddy Rich🤷♂️
I don't think you could get that drum throne any lower!
Is that snare a ludwig acrolite?
Luca Sassone , looks like it.
Saw that too. Never seen him use one before. They are awesome snares!
The new Yamaha aluminum snare drum standard size .
Is this Phil Collins from the 90's sitting behind him?
I thought the very same thing! That guy looks like a very young Collins!
it's actually one of Denmarks finest drummers. Eddie Jarl. Check him out :)
You can take the boy out of drum corps but you can't take the drum corps out of the boy. :)
I wish these great drummers would pay respect to some dixieland tunes !...its the root !
Micro seizures ????
cocaine !!!
Great as usual for Gadd but the drums sounded terrible
