I had one of those when I was in school in the 70s. I did my own work on it and drove it for 4 years. If you need help with it I would be willing. Love the video.
You're gonna have the coolest vehicle on campus by the time you get to highschool! Those old flathead motors are awesome, and last just about forever too. These things are insanely fun and simple to work on once you get used to them.
Hopefully, you'll really take your sweet time deciding if you're going to keep her original, or do a restomod, and then a couple of years learning and collecting the parts you'll need to make her the best vehicle you can by the time you've got your license and can drive this awesome F-1 Ford! We pray that you and your crew, ( be it your dad, uncle(s), brother, friends, or whoever), will have all the blessings and guidance you'll need in all these ventures you've undertaken here! Great job on this first installment! Keep them coming!
You've got a great starting point there, I grew up around a similar truck when I was a kid, originally dark blue like yours, ours had the flathead six instead of the flathead V8 like you have,FYI the mystery box on your firewall is called the voltage regulator, good luck with your project 😀

That's cool. I was given mine in elementary too but that was 7 years ago

It's coming very slowly, about to get wheels and move it to our driveway then we are gonna pull the motor and trans and go from there

for some reason now I like the 1949 ford!
I got a 1948 Ford f1 with stiffened leaf springs and a 283 Chevy small block. And you got I 1951 dash cover over the xpeacher hole that's wrong btw
yeah it came from the people that had it before us
Great start. Keep it all Ford and don't put a Chevy Engine in it!
We were planning on taking the flat head out and putting a ford crate 302 but then still work on the flat head as life goes on
2.1k views with a nice amount of likes... that’s crazy
