Rescuing the Cheapest 1949 Ford F1 | ABANDONED Truck Washing and Cleaning

In this video we found a cheap abandoned Ford F-1 truck that has been sitting in a lot for many years. Our plan is to just clean the truck both inside and out and list it as is to see if we can make a profit on it. We will disclose the prices after we sale the truck. Hope you guys enjoy it!

I bought a 1950 Ford pick-up in 1966 for $125.00 and ran it until about 1978!
I drove it back and forth to work every day and used it for hauling building materials as I built my home,,,that we still live in!
I also made a LOT of trips to the town dump loaded so much that the tires rubbed on the inside of the rear fenders!
Wish I still had it today!

And when nails are that big they're called spikes
they added on a bracket for the taillight and then had an aftermarket Groete tail light in it and what he pointed to in referred to as the original tail light was a Signal ( Stat )Guard reflector.. both aftermarket... But genuine for the day

We had a '50 model F-1 back in the sixties, same engine even,Dad always suspected that it was a retitled '49 model because of the floor shift transmission, nice find

Thanks. Nice video, I bought a green Delux Ford 1950 f1 PU in 1980 for $800, had to borrow the money from mom. It had a 239 flathead V8 3spd on tree (shifter on the steering column) Oil bath air cleaner, 2 water pumps, 2brl carb. No radio, no turn signals, no seat belts no insurance. Only 1 wiper that was vacuum-powered off engine manifold. Drove with HS friend to Phoenix, San Diego, LA, Tijuana Mex, San Fran, Vegas, Williston ND, Camped Everywhere (KOA San Clemente Beach!) Cut trees and sold firewood to pay off mom. Sold 1985 for $1,250. GOOD TIMES!

Truck hasn’t been started in years. Engine is toast and I’m sure that gas tank has a hole in it.

I see that this was put up over a year ago so this might be old news. It is difficult to tell for sure but I hope someone eventually noticed that Someone had painted over the vin plate on the inside of the glove box door. It would be critical to getting her back on the road.
