im local to pontypridd, born in ponty, i pass through market to keep dry when raining but thats it, very sadly its had its day as have most market towns, i guess its globalisation ie big supermarkets ect , OR possibly smug, and im doing you a favour attitude from stall, shop owners that customers dont like or have to tolerate? soon ponty will be all cafes and very very niche stalls and shops, the rest be history. plus piss heads in town of course, with police doing nothing or little to stop it, but park on a yellow line for 10 seconds and look out.
I remember the market hall as a gorgeous place! Great food, and SO lovely people! I do hope it will survive!
