This advice applies to good looking men, and women. Ordinary men cannot suffer paralysis of choice because they're effectively invisible online. Most, millions, struggle to get a single match, let alone have choice. That's the insane market of online dating.
While watching this I am reminded about a Stanford study of buying jam. The more choice of types of jam a consumer had to make at a grocery store the less units overall that store sold. When given a limited set of choice, say five types of jam to buy the store sold more units of jam. More choice makes it difficult to make a decision. Modern dating has become like this. We think there is a lot to choose from with better options always around the corner. So singles never ending up committing to one person for the long term.
I love the way that the woman shook her head when the speaker mentioned that Brad Pitt's brother was cute. From what I'm hearing most women have there standards so unrealistically high already that they don't need to see the comparison. They already view the brother as inferior before the picture of Brad Pitt is put next to him.
The young lady with the "accent" stated the question correctly at first, but then she kind of restated it a couple times and her English got confusing and it almost sounded like it was the opposite question, but it was confusing that Logan didn't hear it. Maybe it wasn't the accent, but the English construct. Anyhow, Logan sort of answered it in regard to her current concept of the maximizer where the young lady is probably trying to find someone to meet very high expectations and will never find it unless she stops searching for what meets her unmeetable criteria and starts experiencing how her dates make her feel instead.
That’s what I am thinking!!! But there is a study called conscious coupling that teaches people with kids on how to break up rationally. So there is a way haha but her non family thing is kinda bothersome
Lol I have 3 kids with my ex husband age 14, 12 and 9 ☺️ I do not talk to their dad outside of necessary emergencies but the kids haven’t had an emergency in 3 years 😌
i dont understand her misunderstanding the accent. she was very easy to understand and clear to me as a native speaker. i think the question was just uncomfortable for logan because it implied she had low self esteem which mightve been the case.
That girl just couldn't formulate her question clearly at first, she just stated some facts and was waiting for Logan to reply. No connection to the speaker's self-esteem, IMHO 🙂
I'm sad Logan didn't answer the real question about high self-esteem, because that would've been interesting to me too. It can obviously also be a problem if you're confident. People don't always like that, especially with confident women. Would have been interesting to know if there's something you can do in this situation.
Wow she really struggled to understand the first girl with the accent. I had no trouble understanding her at all but she acted like the girl wasn't even speaking English. And then to say, "Thanks for translating," seemed a bit rude.
The part where they could not understand the first question is so cringe! She clearly asked for tips for highly confident or high self esteem people. In the end that's not really what was answered. Why do a QnA in a place where you 'struggle with the accent'.

"paradox of choice" & "choice overload" - THIS explains why I never liked shopping the Mall or big overwhelming stores..
I was hoping to hear more on how to get how about dating without using dating apps. Some of us don't use them.

Exactly, it’s always in the back of your mind: what if that ex is my only chance?

Ok hope this "Smart dating" info will start a shift in dating methods.
Amazing talk. Please increase audio gain!
This explains why all my friends have me in their dating profile pic….I’m the ugly friend. Who do I take a pic with 🥺😂
You may be like me - very Un-photogenic. Have a friend help you take photo's at best angle, light, etc.
@@lynnmcl3165 Me too, not photogenic. And I hate posing for photos. What do I do?
@@happy55555 same advice I wrote above is all I got ⬆️

The guy behind the camara really know what to catch
Why is the audio so quiet?

TC 30:00 Attachment Theory - excellent
I get her point, but you can't stop talking to your Ex if you have kids with them ... d'oh!

I had four children and divorced. No I did not talk to my ex.
She addresses this at the end.
She says so I'm the video
Way too many cuts to the audience...
Why there are videos with so low volume?
Logan is amazing!!!!
What exactly am I seeing at 25:35?
ROFL, yes bro! Oh man, I just saw this and immediately went to comments to see if I was alone. Holy heck!
She didn't understand the question because of the accent ? Really !?
Could you make the video quieter please? I could still hear some words at max volume.
I really liked this but I could barely hear. I have the volume all the way up and I had to rewind a lot.

Yap! she frustrated her asking her question whereas we clearly understood what she was asking
I thought the same- the other audience members had similar accents too but she understood them fine lol

That girl sounded like a narcissist and entitled not someone with high standards. I may be wrong but that's the vibe
Never date anyone with purple hair
Plot twist: Sweet treat is laced with rohypnol.
Why does she need to hold her tiny mic 🎤 the whole time ???
i think it might be because she was breathing into it and it bothered her
A “gender studies” major is all you need to know.
Thank you
She studied psychology at Harvard, not gender studies. It was literally in the introduction....
Shes in psychology and economics. 🤔
Why would you think gender? 👀
