Love Kyle. The dude is so humble and a great teacher. Doesn't give the "bro you gotta rip it with the hips..." advice like the guys at your local club.
Man, Kyle is such a cool guy. I mean he's hard hitting and confident, but its not like he has this big man attitude. It just goes to show you can be a nice guy/yourself and still win like no other.
Hard for me to argue with Kyle but my own personal experience with weight training was it was detrimental to speed. When I was 20 I was lifting a lot of heavy weights and was in great shape, very strong all over. Yet I was slower than ever swinging a golf club. When I was 30 I started learning about speed training and saw my driver speed increase by 15 mph over the winter with basically no traditional weight training. Now at 40 I can still bomb it without lifting any heavy weights. I train very hard but focus more on lighter weight power and speed movements and plyometrics. In hindsight if I mixed the weight training when I was 20 with lots of speed training it would have been awesome, but I would have been working out 20 hours a week. Your muscles will adapt to the stresses put on it and if all you do if lift heavy objects slowly they will adapt to moving heavy objects slowly. A golf club is a light object you want to move at high speed.
We're you a devotee of the "time under tension" method of lifting? You must train explosively for fast twitch cns reaction. We aren't just training our muscles in the gym. (I hate how often spell Czech adds apostrophes where they were not intended)
What exercises do you do for speed training ? Just curious if you had a substantial gain over the winter . Obviously your baseline was set good from years of training ?
Building a swing that is more consistently able to hit the ball on the club's sweet spot, then using weight training to make those muscles used to swing and brace toned enough to withstand the strain produced as well as generate and control the desired increase. Speed is easy and obvious with the correct mechanics, controlling the club at that speed while reducing strain injuries is another.
I started with club going past parallel and big shoulder turn I went from 97 mph club head on January 12 to 100 mph club head speed on February 3rd I added working out speed training and cardio it’s definitely helping with my journey to 110 club head speed with driver
do you hit it far bc of strength or quickness i hit it as far as i do from strength so i started doing speed sticks in first two sessions i gained 5 ish club head speed in one month went from high 80s to 100ish not all of it was speed sticks but i would suggest them if you hit it farther bc of strength not quickness good luck!!
Here's a suggestion... just ask the guest the question "Kyle, what's your #1 tip to increasing speed?" and get the HELL out of the way Bro. It doesn't take one minute and 43 seconds to ask the question.
I think maybe Kyle is a bit frosty as you're the competition. You can understand why he might not be so forthcoming with his tips. I'd take it as a compliment 👍
I have what I think is a very solid golf school idea. What don’t these guys who can hit it a mile start up a “300 Yard Club”? There’s very little in terms of golf schools that focus solely on distance, yet its the number thing most golfers look for….more distance and being able to hit it 300+ yards. Why wouldn’t guys like this start up an academy like this?? If it works, I will not take any royalties for the deal, just a lifetime of lessons😊
Because there is little interest in it. EVERYBODY wants to hit it farther. NOBODY is willing to put the time and training in it. Kyle has dedicated his life to this
At the gym doesn’t sound like a great piece of advice. Ever see a bodybuilder try to swing a golf club? Also is it really lifting more weight or is it doing Olympic style lifts or things with bands and all the other types of gym work that pros do?
You're not seeing what Kyle was talking about. How many body builders do you see playing golf? He's talking about the average guy has to build up strength, NOT BULK!
This Kyle guy is such a nerd 0:53 Kyle is a hack he can’t score on a golf course, go watch his channel and see for yourself. And what’s up with his speech impediment?

Great guy!
That Part !
So great when the people at the top of the sport are willing to share with potential “competitors”.
Share what - get stronger and faster….
The guy is really pumped up and excited. Not every day you get to make a video with the longest dude.
What’s amazing is that these long drivers are more articulate then most PGA tour players.
With the 1 and only club they have mastered
Starting my couch workout tonight!
First time I’ve seen Kyle look mad 😂
Haha
And pro v 1 balls. Lol

Kyle is a great guy! Very humble
Never watched Video but I will tell you he gives the best explanation to hit ball farther and that is to increase swing speed
Smart dude !
What’s a training week look like?
How many days/reps are you swinging full speed to your max?
Hi Bryan, I have a video planned for this coming up shortly. Stay tuned...
Come on, we all know a new driver is the only way to increase your speed 🚀
Take my money!
Hey come on , I spent £500 on a new driver and gained one yard according to Trackman , I've now gone from 24 handicap to scratch.

Its neuromuscular too, coordination is almost even more important then strength and power.
Coordination and flexibility is huge when it comes to speed in golf

You are So So right about new muscle needing to learn the golf swing
Good stuff.
Nice info, thanks for the video guys

Agreed
I do a Moe Norman style single plane swing. I think I’m gonna have a little bit of a hard time picking up speed.
The one plane swing is absolutely the best swing!

Normally I would agree but he actually does add a lot to the convo with his own experience on the subject. He did a good job, I subscribed
He added lots of if i, i, i, me, me, i, i…
What would John Daily have to say about needing to workout to increase club head speed. 😂
Would probably light a dart up
Mass x Acceleration!
Wow, he really does look mad! Did you see that look at the camera?
Lol

He’s a good guy!

For normal peeps…swing fan + swing stick…most skip the fan, it’s a power tool.
Boom goes the dynamite

Wonder if the hit bomb guy can hit 150
File Burntire!!!
your video basically told me nothing
👌🏼👌🏼👌🏼
👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽
Do you think if he has a haircut he's going to lose all his power
Haha nah he’s a stud
I was so sure he was gonna say PEDs, guess he's natural
I must be doing something decent. My ball speed is still above Kyles club speed, just by a little bit but ill take it.
I can work out on my couch? Lol, jk
No swing speed of 156 mph never hit it 250
Speed is fast not hard..
This Kyle guy is such a nerd 0:53

Change your username to Butthead. I think it's more accurate.
@@draintheswamp1588 lol ok dude, you’re just jealous
