Bought Witcher 2. Saw file size. Cried. downloaded. Realized I need better hardware. Cried harder.
Surely you mean W3? W2 isn't that hard to run.
The witcher 2 is too demanding for a counter top PC and it was damn impressive when it came out.
W2 is surprisingly heavy if you crack up and/or activate all of the graphical settings. I haven't ever touched ubersampling. W3 I run on high (some low and ultra mixed in) and some post-processing effects.
W3 is extremely optimised and runs pretty well. Even on the weak consoles it looks good (not even close to PC with mods though)
MY Computer runs witcher 3 runs perfectly on my pc, but witcher 1 amd 2 completely freeze up my computer to the point i have to hard reboot my computer.
I'm by no means good at games, but I found with the Witcher 2 that it simply lacked a decent tutorial. The 360 tutorial happened far too fast and told me I should play 'easy'. I told it to screw off and picked normal and sure enough, after 4-5 hours of struggling to learn the mechanics, the game became very very easy for its remainder.
I gotta say, from all of Gav's songs? This would still have to be my favourite, despite how utterly amazing just about all his other songs are~

They shun his ways, avoid his gaze, as he is a witcher, feared and despiced by many because they mutate their bodies to become better fighters.
And he is a fugitive as people think he murdered the king.

Just refers to the fact that you discover more and more of Geralt's momories in the form of visions. Small shards of them, if you will.

After listening to this a couple of times, I must say this is everything Geralt is shown as in the games. I also really like the way you did this, singing like Dandelion narrated was what did it for me. Great work and keep up the work. Hoping for more songs soon cant get enough :D
I havent played The Witcher 2 yet(but im planning to,after finishing The Witcher:)),but have read almost all books of that saga. I really enjoy this song, its awesome!!! And I really hope to hear more songs about Geralt from you in future:)
I reeeeeaaally love this! to me it feels like it would fit right into the world of the witcher, having read the books and beaten the games I've always felt that it's always had an underlying feeling of self awareness and satire. and I can definitely see dandelion singing this XD

It took me about 10 listenings to figure out he's singing "srebro i stal" in the chorus (haven't thought about checking for the lyrics ;p|). My language, but it's not exactly how it's supposed to be said ;) thus, it was hard to recognize. Still, props for using a difficult language!

Forgive me for being a little picky, it is great that you decided to use Polish "srebro i stal". I am from Poland and you are saying it quite funny, I didn't recognize these words at first
"stal" is actually good, but "srebro" and "i"... "re" is like in "retribution, first"r" is stronger, actually like in case of the second "r" ("bro"), which you did quite good, and "i" is more like in "immature, illness, irresponsible"
But this is great, no offense, just wanted to show you something

Every song is unique, every song has a style, every song reflects the game 100%. I don't understand it.
Geralt is presented in the game as quite a glib and easy going guy from what I saw. The entire story is also narrated by Dandelion, who is a very whimsical and fun character. It's also full of humour and light relief. Did you stop to thinking that the 'dramatic' side wasn't what felt like the 'soul' of the game to me? Or that capturing the 'soul' of a game is not always my goal? Just because something doesn't fit with your personal experience of a story doesn't mean it didn't fit with others.
Polish fan here, it even tops your Commander Shepard song, really awesome. :)

As much as i like both games, they can't mach the perfection of their origin - the witcher's saga. I recommend it to read for everyone - altough i dont even know if it was translated - but i hope so. And to you, this song is brilliant, but hey, all your songs are. I love the way you pronounce "srebro i stal"! :D cheers and keep up that good work!

To whomever complaining about the pronunciation - I would love to see you pronounce some of the English words, I'm rather certain it would be a quite amusing experience.
Relax, it's not a complain, it's just a notice... We know Polish is very difficult for non-Slavs and it was really nice to hear it in this song :) Actually, I think spanish guy would pronounce it better, 'cos you should say "r" in "srebro" more like in "burro" than "wuss" :P (yes, it's a joke...)
GaGaCatX Yeah, slavic languages are complicated. I can't complain 'bout his pronounciation, because I spend almost every summer teaching foreigners how to speak croatian and i've learned that slavic languages are a bitch to learn :D
