"Pretty dang sick bike!" I can feel the pride through the video haha. It was hella kool seeing you out at post, hope to see you again for the rest to enduro season!
Congrats. That bike is sweet, and I hope you did well in the race. I just bought a 2023 Instinct C30 for less than $3K! I have a Stumpy w an XT group set that I will swap over in time, but it rocks as is w a Deore set-up.. just heavier parts. After 20+ years of Spec Stumpjumpers and Enduros, I think this Rocky is the best bike I have owned. Every detail is thought out in the frame production and builds. Good luck this race season and happy trails.
That was my biggest concern going into last weekend! I prerode the whole course Friday and that really helped to get a lot of descending in. By race day the brakes were feeing pretty good luckily
Pretty different compared to the capra! I’ve got a review coming soon of this bike. The Altitude is so much longer and more slack. It feels way more plush, stable and composed on rough trails and big hits. The Capra being shorter was more nimble and maneuverable, better at quick turns and more responsive.
Yoooo what fender is that? I had no idea there was a long fender that bolted onto the Zeb? I just bought a RM Slayer for this park season like 3 days before they announced the new altitude! So now I'm obsessively watching videos about it to see if fate is indeed a cruel mistress or if I still made a safe decision for my use case haha
The fender is from a small Polish company called Vision Velo who 3D prints them. Website: visionvelo.eu I was trying to research a longer bolt on fender for Zeb and randomly found out about them from Reddit or something 😆 the fender is awesome. Bolts on perfectly, super sturdy and includes the needed screws. Took like a month to arrive but worth it
The slayer is a solid choice! Especially if you’re primarily doing park. I think if I was mostly doing park or freeride I would’ve went slayer too. But since I need to do a ton of pedaling for my local trails the Altitude was a better option for me
@@MediocreMitchMTB gotcha gotcha! Makes sense. Thank you thank you. Good luck in the Enduro races this weekend! and thank you for the info on the fender 🤙
Is it Your bike, or is it just a loaner/test rig? Sorry. But the "I just got a new bike," is the typical RUclips title for bike testers, that must be spending hundreds-of-thousands on bikes every year to post videos.
This is my actual bike! I’ve had it for about 7 months now. I do test bikes occasionally but they’re just rentals from a shop. If you watch any of my videos after this one you’ll see I’m riding this bike. Long term review coming soon now that I’ve done a full season of enduro racing on it and several bike park days

😆 Kids are hilarious. Cool seeing you too man! Looking forward to some more racing 👊
Sweet looking bike dude. Looking forward to the ride vids! Cheers.
Cheers! Thanks for watching

Thanks, I’m excited for the bike. Nice, enjoy the instinct! Rocky does a great job with their bikes. Happy trails 🤘
What repair stand are you using and do you recommend it?
I’m using the CXWXC repair stand. I got it for like $80 on Amazon I think and it works great!
Looks great! Good job with the final assembly. Did you get your brakes bedded in before the race? That process always takes me quite a while.

New Bike Day!!
Can’t beat it!
Similar looking bike to the Santa Cruz Nomad. Love the colour scheme!!
Thanks I think it looks good too 👌 yeah the new suspension layout gives Santa Cruz vibes for sure

Did you get rid of the YT Capra?
Yeah I sold it earlier this year! It was a great bike though. I was just ready to try something different
