@@diegomilito7163 I agree, there is an organic chemistry that John has with the rest of the band. That being said, I wouldn't want to have to work with, or depend on him with how flaky he has been over the years. Josh was a safe bet. A good player they could depend on. Its a classic example of order and chaos. That's why those two albums are musically technical, good and interesting, but sanitary and uninspired. They are "good" IMO but the raw, chemical, chaotic, organic passion that John brings is just not there.
Very interested interview. We understand the story of RHCP from Josh perspective and all the respect his has to all of them. Josh was probably the only one that could take over John's seat. His humility and modesty shine on him. Thanks for the podcast
A very nice interview with Josh. Although I’m a diehard Frusciante admirer I can’t get enough of “Dark necessities”, “Goodbye angels” and “Sick love” off of “The Getaway” record. Will definitely check out “I’m with you” next. Wishing all the best to Josh, hope they’ll reconnect with John again.
Amazing interview, I didn't know much about Josh Klinghoffer, and probably misjudged him. He is such a demonstration of musicianship, so mature and aware, loving his experience and didn't say anything negative in this interview, apart from his self-doubts and lack of confidence to be "worth" the role. At his level, his humility and intelligence are rare assets, and no doubts he'll be busy and surrounded by the best until he decides to stop.
As a lifelong Chili Pepper fan, I can say the first album I listened to was Uplift, and continued through to Californication. But I didn't really click with By the way or Stadium and quit listening to them at all for a decade. Then one day, Dark Necessities came up in my feed and it was that song that got me back listening to them and I thank Josh for that.
Same here. I got by the way and enjoyed it but thought it was just pretty good. I didn't bother with stadium. Didn't even really try with post 2010 stuff. Now I'm combing through it.
@@quicklicks5963 I feel ya, I recently listened to the last few albums and I can say i enjoyed the Klinghoffer era but it still felt like a blended family. I get the same feeling when I listen to the early stuff with Jack or Hillel. Personally I connected with Mother's Milk and BSSM the most. Those were the soundtrack to my youth and I'm sure that has a lot to do with my opinion. But I don't think anyone would disagree with the fact that BSSM was lightning in a bottle. That album was perfect and though it led to John's first exit from the band and a hilarious SNL performance. It was a musical earthquake that was felt around the world. From Breaking the Girl to Suck My Kiss to Give It Away down to Under The Bridge and Sir Psycho Sexy it was so fucking good!! And after the smoke cleared and the band yet again needing a guitarist, you had nowhere to go but to One Hot Minute. Which I will admit I enjoy now taking into consideration of what the band just went through, it was actually a much better album than it's given credit for.
You should definitely (no disrespect to Josh) check out unlimited love though. Didn't think I'd like it based on the first single but it is pretty good
I’m a big John fan but I like him more on his own. Josh seemed like a good fit. Handled it as good as anyone could. Hope he gets the success he deserves.
I love and respect Josh so much, despite the fact that I'm not a huge fan of the music he made with the Chili Peppers. He seems like an incredible, creative, humble guy.
What bothers me is that they were technically a five piece before (with Josh as 2nd guitars + keys) so why not just go back to that format? If splitting the loot is an issue (as what Ive read in some comments) , I'm sure they can negotiate with Josh a fixed fee like what Axl did to Fortus/Ferrer when Slash and Duff came back. I mean seriously, why let go of your most technically tightest member.
I'm totally agree with that..There's nothing wrong with 5 piece band..It happen to The Verve once back in 97 when they asked Simon Tong to join..Then Nick McCabe returned and they become 5 piece band..
believe me that john still has an ego as a musician this is demonstrated by not playing songs from one hot minute and the relationship between john and josh is broken they have not seen each other in 10 years and it was difficult to make both musicians who want to do their thing share a place and Josh also had his plans but I think that by words of the band and other files that I have seen they made a deal with John so that he would return, John accepted that monetary deal possibly since they are somewhat old to continue and could be that they make a last album What if it gives them a profit since the last 2 gave profits but not as expected and simply that could not be 5 musicians and 2 wanting to do the same
There's definitely a silver lining to it all though. He's amassed some decent money, built his resume, and I'm assuming extended his network and connections within the industry. His chapter with the Pepper's may be done, but he's got a bright future ahead to look forward to.
Josh didn't get an equal cut. He was a salaried employee and received weekly payments and has said off record thatbhe was making little more than what a bus driver would make after expenses
@@nm7891 Be that the case.....ask me if I'd like to be the guitarist for the Chili Pepper's for the same salary. It would probably take me less than 2 seconds to answer.
@@nm7891 And even if his cut were low, see my original post. He will be able to move on and establish his own rates moving forward, likely guess staring live and making appearances on albums including his own due to his exposure and added experience. Buddy that’s a stand up response to the questions asked, very humble and definitely time to spread your wings I’d be real curious to see what kind of guitar madness you and Tim Reynolds could put together. I’m a huge fan
That album that josh and John collaborated on is an amazing album. I hope one day they can make music together again because the world needs more of their music
End of the day John is the peppers. Not Josh. What’s best for the band is for Josh to step aside and let the peppers do their thing again. And massively too Josh’s credit he knows that and amicably let the band do their thing. Respect. He held the torch well!
Can’t wait for his big break. Most underrated musician out there. Carried AK through the past 6 years of live shows when he forgot the lyrics to every single song they’d do.
I didn’t want to accept Josh as the guitarist for rhcp, but then he grew on me, josh had big shoes to fill, now I’d say the same for John, he has to step it up, because josh surely did
He did 7 albums with John, though. Shadows, The Will to Death, Inside ot Emptiness, The Empyrean; then A Sphere as a collaborative album, and the two Ataxia albums
Fair play to Josh. I almost feel that he never really was a proper member of the band. In saying that I saw the Peppers at Birmingham and he was awesome on guitar.
For sure! Saw him at Bonnaroo 2012, and he was amazing! I was initially worried that they would lose some soul, but he did an excellent job both live and on the studio albums.
I was at that Oklahoma City show. I thought Josh being on the side of the stage adding his parts was just the same show that everybody else had gotten to see. I had no idea that that show was the start of his span with the band. The song he assisted playing guitar on was Turn It Again. The buildup at the end of the song literally melted my face off. He looked so natural on stage with the other 4. He truly made everyone sound even better. Thank you Josh for allowing my favorite band to continue. Thank you so much for those 10 years man.
Josh is very gracious in defeat about getting booted from the band. John brought the RHCP to the level they are at today, but Josh did the style of music I like with the RHCP.
I know it hurts him the way it ended , but I believe his gratefulness for the opportunity the rhcp gave him outweighs whatever qualms that might be festering from within.
What you contributed during your time with the band was a substantial improvement of their original sound. I'm With You is one of their best albums, no doubt about it. Josh- your run with the rhcp, in my opinion, was quite notable.
Josh had a role he kept the peppers alive. They new Josh well he was Johns guitar tech on a couple of the peppers tours, he was the obvious replacement. Thank you. But I'm excited for the group to be back
It's interesting how in work one person starts then leaves then after that person is replaced he becomes jealous that someone else takes his place, now all of the sudden he returns and people he left boot out whoever stepped in to help and take over. There is no appreciation of who stepped in to prevent things from collapsing or disappearing and make new things materialize. The person who left just returns and whoever covered for him is just thrown away.
We couldn't have asked for a better replacement for John and the music Josh made is forever a testament to his immense talent. What an amazing run they had together!!
Total introvert. And yeah, he only makes art if, when, and how he wants to. He's a true artist, which I could see why people think can be pretentious or something, but has any other true/great artist ever been any different?
total attitude. when he re-joined the band, he absolutely refused to play any parts written by Dava Navarro. he was very prideful. only until recently he felt comfortable with playing songs from One Hot Minute, which IMO, is a hugely underrated album. so many huge tracks on it.
lol that's exactly what i thought when Maron asked him to elaborate on what he meant when Josh said he just had a "feeling" John was looking to rejoin the band.. in my opinion for Josh to have any unrealistic expectations when he was basically given the job most of us would kill to take over for one night would just be dangerous in a industry where unless you have made a name for yourself as a studio musician/ artist/ ghostwriter/ or engineer... your ass better have a REAL job lined up because its fucking brutal navigating the waters in a one man dingy... can end up shark food..
Yeh, and it's a massive gift to be in such a band. I guess it must feel insecure to be in that situation... But yunno, he got so much from the last decade, a price worth paying.
He's so personable! Wish Josh had spent his time in rhcp showing his personality more, he's always been so shy and wanting to let the others shine. Which is fine but i think ppl would've gotten more attached to him over the decade if he had. I respect John but it sounds like they really didn't treat Josh right. Idk if i believe the stories about him being forced to be off stage when touring... It's possible he just didn't want to be seen
wow it's been 10 years since he joined the Peppers and they finally had been enjoying a little integrity not having to cancel shows for John. Hoff's vocals were on point and his playing exquisite. While I admit God created John for the Peppers and being so happy to see him back, Hoff was a PERFECT sub for John. He will be sorely missed as will his performances with the Peppers. An astute study of Frusciante.
I saw RHCP live with Josh in 2016 and there is absolutely no denying that Josh was an absolute rock to the band’s legacy. I was actually mad for him to find out that they were quick to kick him out for John. I understand John has always been a vital part of the band’s history but it just seems kinda messed to just be like “oh John’s back see ya Josh!” like what’s gonna happen when John decides to leave again? They’re just gonna call up Josh and ask him if he wants to join again? It’s just not right
Well they're in their 60's now and I doubt he'll leave again. He only left the last time because he couldn't handle the fame. He's overcome that and seems to be very happy now. I think it's safe to say this is the last RHCP era.
I just discovered Pluralone. I think RCHP were holding him back. The new RHCP album is like a fun one night stand that you're better for it. Pluralone is like a lover that creeps into your dreams and your thoughts at any random time of the day and then you find yourself obsessed. Its a work of art. RHCP have kind of painted themselves into a box and what they do is excellent but Klinghoffer is way more versatile. He's one man army.
I don't understand why they had to go behind his back. I also don't understand why he couldn't of remained in the band with John in it just like he was before John left. They were obviously done with him.
Before John left Josh was just hanging around and playing 2nd guitar on 2/3 songs during concerts. Then he became main guitarist and part of the creative process. Do you really think he'd want to go back to what it was before ?! Anybody can be that 2nd guitarist ( if one is needed, we don't even know, that's something that happened with Stadium Arcadium only ), Josh can use his time better and do his own music.
It would've been difficult for Josh and John to reconcile the new status quo. Musicians, especially guitarists are egotistical. Whether by a lot, or a little. It would be a difficult pill to swallow for both of them. Josh would over step bounds in small ways by trying to contribute more to the writing process. John would probably not like this, as he's used to being the only guitarist in the band. It'd be a lot for everyone to get used to.
Everybody's saying Jon ran out of money that's the only reason he came back. I'm just glad John looks happy and healthy and he didn't die of a heroin overdose. John also came back in the early 2000s with and made that iconic record californication. Whenever he comes back they make magic. Jon was always the heart and soul of the band I don't know why people are surprised when they always let him come back. Josh did a great job holding it down for 10 years though.
RHCP should bring Josh back in the future. Maybe after John settles back in. He could add so much to their sound. He could play the keys, rather than Rubin? Such a talent. He deserves the shot. Could be pretty amazing
Man I feel like having Josh and John both play guitar would have been the best move for the band. They are always moving forward and I just don't understand why they would just have both of them. Can u imagine the music they could have made together 😵
@@carpinado3089 I get that, but at same time, Josh was with them for 10 years and earned him place in the band. My point was they are both amazing guitarist and could have made amazing riffs together.

they basically made all of john's 2004 solo albums together and it's some of my absolute favorite music in the world, just absolutely ethereal. i'll always wonder what rhcp might have made with both of them.
I've said this before, josh is a great guitarist but John is THE guitarist for the chili peppers. That said Josh is the guy you'd probably be able to have a beer and chat with, John probably isn't that guy.

The playing style between the two is so different, they are both amazing. Honestly, I was sad to hear this. I really love Josh and love some of his playing more than Frusciante. Crazy they blindsided him, dicks..... I give him credit, he's humble about what happened.
It's no big deal. Everyone knows where John stands in the band. Josh got to be a part of one of the best bands ever and he has a good future ahead of him.
Well said. Josh is awesome and humble. He was “good” with the chili peppers but John is the perfect fit. Now you can’t trust that he’ll be around for an extended period but so much magic with him In the band. Also, I think josh has a better voice for music outside of the chili peppers. All of his other projects are way better to me than his work with the chili peppers. Need ataxia to come back. Come on John!
The interviewer who doesn’t listen and just keeps talking and controls the conversation. Cripes. Everytime Josh is about to elaborate he interrupts. Ridiculous.
It boggles my mind how anyone could be surprised about any of this. He was always John standing and he knew this. He knew that whenever John wanted to come back his time with the chili peppers would be up, this was a position he was offered and that was a big thing considering they didn't even optician anyone else. He has a right attitude for being humble and grateful for the time he was given. Because it was never an integral permanent thing. People need to realize that the chili peppers is John's house and sound.
You have to admit that there is a great chemistry between Flea and John. The love of funk over the years and family have strong bond. Through thick and thin.
This interviewer is a bit of a tool. He clearly wants Josh to start trashing the band and John so he can get those hits, but Josh didn't take the bait.

Josh's work on "I'm With You" and "The Getaway" is amazing. I wish he could stay and play with John. John is amazing, but he's left so many times.
Those 2 albums are the worst in RHCP history, it’s not his fault but RHCP aren’t RHCP without John
@@diegomilito7163 have you listened to the first 3 or so albums? John didn’t join the band when they started, he joined after about 8 years of them being a thing…
Dude... I'm sorry but the worst RHCP albums are One Hot Minute and their very first self titled. Have you heard those?? Josh did better than anyone else could have in my opinion.
(responding to Diego, to clarify)
@@fruitypatchouli I'm With You on this. The Getaway brought in an interesting sound for the band, Dark Necessities, Encore. Raindance Maggie was amazing first time it came out on MTV in 2011 there were Epic!, Josh Era certainly was for real an awesome era for the Peppers.
He's definitely left a legacy, a great musician and part of rhcp history. Well done Josh 👍🏻
I hope he doesn't, John looks like a hypocrite.
All the band members are a bunch of old immature ppl. I like a lot RHCP, but man, I wont idealize them.
I totally relate to this man. Exactly my story too.
Didn't think I'd like it based on the first single but it is pretty good
Same here.
I'm totally agree with that..There's nothing wrong with 5 piece band..It happen to The Verve once back in 97 when they asked Simon Tong to join..Then Nick McCabe returned and they become 5 piece band..
believe me that john still has an ego as a musician this is demonstrated by not playing songs from one hot minute and the relationship between john and josh is broken they have not seen each other in 10 years and it was difficult to make both musicians who want to do their thing share a place and Josh also had his plans but I think that by words of the band and other files that I have seen they made a deal with John so that he would return, John accepted that monetary deal possibly since they are somewhat old to continue and could be that they make a last album What if it gives them a profit since the last 2 gave profits but not as expected and simply that could not be 5 musicians and 2 wanting to do the same
I wonder if they’ll play this velvet glove on the 2022 tour they’ll need josh as a back up for the track
Reminds me very much How Pat Smear would jam and play with Nirvana all the time in the later years. The could have done something like this.
Ego is a hard thing to deal
Grateful the peppers had Josh to keep the band going. His work was beautiful as well. That being said, I’m glad to see John back where he belongs.
@@nm7891 where’d you hear this?
@@blainebauman572 from Josh
@@nm7891 Be that the case.....ask me if I'd like to be the guitarist for the Chili Pepper's for the same salary. It would probably take me less than 2 seconds to answer.
@@nm7891 And even if his cut were low, see my original post. He will be able to move on and establish his own rates moving forward, likely guess staring live and making appearances on albums including his own due to his exposure and added experience.
This all equals extra money. Money he wouldn't have otherwise earned if he hadn't played for the brief stint that he did.
Buddy that’s a stand up response to the questions asked, very humble and definitely time to spread your wings I’d be real curious to see what kind of guitar madness you and Tim Reynolds could put together. I’m a huge fan
Class act! Great musician too!! I can’t believe he would ever question how good he is.
That album that josh and John collaborated on is an amazing album. I hope one day they can make music together again because the world needs more of their music
Brilliant album.
What was the name of the album album they worked on?
@biggie shadows collide with people
@@biggiemoonsand8681 they collaborated on most of john’s solo albums from 2000 to 2010. check them out, it’s some of the best music in the world.
End of the day John is the peppers. Not Josh. What’s best for the band is for Josh to step aside and let the peppers do their thing again. And massively too Josh’s credit he knows that and amicably let the band do their thing. Respect. He held the torch well!
Josh is a great a player, but he’s never been anything but the replacement guitarist to me.
Can’t wait for his big break. Most underrated musician out there. Carried AK through the past 6 years of live shows when he forgot the lyrics to every single song they’d do.
I couldn't believe he kept forgetting the words to Sir Psycho Sexy. I mean, maybe take it off the line up if it's that hard for you?
I mean the guy already has a ton of rock cred and is currently touring with Pearl Jam I think he's already broke
@@presinald exactly. Big break? Dude played with the RHCP for 10 years lol
Keedis is in the band for a pay check now. Has been since 2004
@@nm7891 Shit, he's already rich, or at least should be....
I didn’t want to accept Josh as the guitarist for rhcp, but then he grew on me, josh had big shoes to fill, now I’d say the same for John, he has to step it up, because josh surely did
A great guitarist indeed! So much style and emotion...
He did 7 albums with John, though. Shadows, The Will to Death, Inside ot Emptiness, The Empyrean; then A Sphere as a collaborative album, and the two Ataxia albums
all great albums
oh shit, i need to hear the other ataxia album
I love his contribution on B - sides " Im Beside You " - sad that peace of art is not regular album .
I know it hurts him the way it ended , but I believe his gratefulness for the opportunity the rhcp gave him outweighs whatever qualms that might be festering from within.
Josh is a class act, god bless him. Saw him live with the chili's twice and he was awesome, a real credit to the band
If it weren’t for Josh, there’d be no band for John to return to!
IVE BEEN SAYING THIS. SO TRUE
Thank you. But I'm excited for the group to be back
you've just admitted you didn't listen to the interview. He was not the guitar tech ruclips.net/video/24oq9wdNKxY/видео.html
@@mrFlAsHFlOoD I also read something that said josh was guitar technician and a secondary guitarist rhythm player.
Thank you for pushing the Peppers forward! Your attitude is right on!
We couldn't have asked for a better replacement for John and the music Josh made is forever a testament to his immense talent. What an amazing run they had together!!
Josh is an incredible musician.
I think john has an attitude
its the opposite, hes an introvert.
Total introvert. And yeah, he only makes art if, when, and how he wants to. He's a true artist, which I could see why people think can be pretentious or something, but has any other true/great artist ever been any different?
He can be prickly, but I’m so glad he’s back
@@thetubbsohio can still be a introvert and have an attitude
total attitude. when he re-joined the band, he absolutely refused to play any parts written by Dava Navarro. he was very prideful. only until recently he felt comfortable with playing songs from One Hot Minute, which IMO, is a hugely underrated album. so many huge tracks on it.
When you’re “replacing” John Frusciante in RHCP you just have to know deep down it’s a temporary gig
lol that's exactly what i thought when Maron asked him to elaborate on what he meant when Josh said he just had a "feeling" John was looking to rejoin the band.. in my opinion for Josh to have any unrealistic expectations when he was basically given the job most of us would kill to take over for one night would just be dangerous in a industry where unless you have made a name for yourself as a studio musician/ artist/ ghostwriter/ or engineer... your ass better have a REAL job lined up because its fucking brutal navigating the waters in a one man dingy... can end up shark food..
Mixed feelings about this statement.
He thought it was 4 ever 🤣
Yeh, and it's a massive gift to be in such a band. I guess it must feel insecure to be in that situation... But yunno, he got so much from the last decade, a price worth paying.
@Jedimaster420 That was the 90s, the first time he left. Not this time. And the footage you're thinking of was shot by Gibby Haynes and Johnny Depp.
Josh leaving the band feels so bittersweet. I don't know if I rather John out doing his own stuff. 😣
I think RHCP will retire after this. Maybe one more album. After 20 years I’ll finally see them live and I’m happy It’ll be with John 🤷🏻♀️
He's one man army.
tbh....i want to be like josh...like morally or something like how he does things and responds and keep calm and keep on going.and be legend
I’m glad to see John back but I’m really happy I got to see the peppers twice with josh.
Classy man.
John Dalton Agree
i literally just met josh today...I asked for a pic...and he gladly gave it to me....fuckin cool ass dude.
Josh have a solid CV behind him. RCHP fans are forever gratefull♥️
My Respect, Great Guy. He can always join others with that perspective. I need a multiinstrumentalist to jam with hes all about it.
no rockstar attitude at all, so cool josh!!!
Josh is a class act, God bless him
It would be very nice go on a tour with both Josh and Jonh. It would be a nice goodbye for Josh
RHCP should bring Josh back in the future. Maybe after John settles back in. He could add so much to their sound. He could play the keys, rather than Rubin? Such a talent. He deserves the shot. Could be pretty amazing
Around the Stadium Arcadium era he was doing that, as well as additional guitars and vocals
Man I feel like having Josh and John both play guitar would have been the best move for the band. They are always moving forward and I just don't understand why they would just have both of them. Can u imagine the music they could have made together 😵
Chili peppers isn’t a two guitar band
@@carpinado3089 I get that, but at same time, Josh was with them for 10 years and earned him place in the band. My point was they are both amazing guitarist and could have made amazing riffs together.
@@150arroks Josh is fine but there's really no comparison to John. John is just a vital part of RHCP. No one could fill the void he left any time he left the band. Their sound with John is just superior.
they basically made all of john's 2004 solo albums together and it's some of my absolute favorite music in the world, just absolutely ethereal. i'll always wonder what rhcp might have made with both of them.
The Peps ain't trynna split that money up five ways 🤣😅🤣
Josh is such a cool young man - incredibly gracious and certainly left his mark on that band...
Josh is an amazing musician, he did shut a lot of mouths during those 10 years
I love Josh and feel bad for how it all went down. Praying he will get the break he deserves
What would be sick if both josh and John stay in the band all 5 of them John and josh can work on wicked ass music for the band 🤘🏾
a little more honesty upfront once the side jamming started would have made things easier , imho. Josh is a one in a million person. Respect
Kinda feel for Josh but John is just an incredible guitarist/musician.
I've said this before, josh is a great guitarist but John is THE guitarist for the chili peppers. That said Josh is the guy you'd probably be able to have a beer and chat with, John probably isn't that guy.
Wow! Sounds like this guy‘s pretty local, riding his bike to Fleas’ house. Flea just moved from near me here in Los Feliz, but now lives in my hometown, just over the hill a bit. I still take walks right by where he lives now, when I’m at my folks house. The last 10 flew by, and I never heard much of the newer stuff, so I will have to check back. Great interview! 🎸🤘🏻🇺🇸
Niandra LaDes is the record. they should play it out loud in berklee
Josh got to be a part of one of the best bands ever and he has a good future ahead of him.
does you profile pic looks funny or should i call her
“best bands ever” lol
Josh really sounds like a good man
When shadows collide with people is a masterpiece
Thanks for some absolute banger songs; Sick love, Goodbye Angels, Police Station to name a few.
The interviewer who doesn’t listen and just keeps talking and controls the conversation. Cripes. Everytime Josh is about to elaborate he interrupts. Ridiculous.
Respect for Josh. Very mature. Definitely left his mark(Getaway etc).
I don't understand WHY they didn't just keep Josh?? And both John and Josh could have made some CRAAZZY shit together??
they would have to split the money another way
They both very strong, and it's just not good to have 2 strong guitarist, except one of them decide just to be a rthym guitarist.
I actually loved his albums
So much respect for Josh. He certainly left his mark on the band.
Sick love was master guitar piece
"I got a mellowship I got hello Chip I've got a nonstop "Yo swan" hello chip"
It boggles my mind how anyone could be surprised about any of this. He was always John standing and he knew this. He knew that whenever John wanted to come back his time with the chili peppers would be up, this was a position he was offered and that was a big thing considering they didn't even optician anyone else. He has a right attitude for being humble and grateful for the time he was given. Because it was never an integral permanent thing. People need to realize that the chili peppers is John's house and sound.
You have to admit that there is a great chemistry between Flea and John. The love of funk over the years and family have strong bond. Through thick and thin.
Josh's work on I'm beside you is incredible. Lots of great tracks on that throwaway album. Definitely enjoyed it more than I'm with you.
it's incredible. i wish i could have it on FLAC with the rest of my collection
Such a great dude and musician.
Great guy. RHCP could be a five piece. Plenty of room for two great guitar players ✊🏻
wow this is sad. John is my idol, but Josh is really cool, sad this miscommunication happened
Sphere in the heart of silence was an incredible record, I hope he keeps going
This interviewer is a bit of a tool. He clearly wants Josh to start trashing the band and John so he can get those hits, but Josh didn't take the bait.
Marc Maron is one of the best. He doesn't fan girl or gloss over shit, and I like that. He just interviewed Rick Rubin about 3 months ago.
