Haha, it took 3 men to get it up there! It went up on its side as its not that tall. Not looking forward to bringing it back down when we move, it's like 225kg 🙃
@@CorinneAtHome It amazes me how much weight those new build floors can take. How are the acoustics with it being in such a small room on the 1st floor? Maybe go for the grand piano next time there instead :)
@@leecornwall8381 Yeah, I was worried the stairs would collapse with the piano plus the men! I think it sounds great - it's a Kawai K200 so it's the smallest one in the range. They offered me a great price on the K500 which would have been too much for the room! It will be in a bigger space downstairs when we move house and the dream would be to have a baby grand but I'm really happy with what I've got now so I'll probably stick with this for the next few years at least! There are some videos on the piano channel linked in the description if you want to hear it - I apologise for the playing in advance!
Haha thanks - it’s not really decorated though, we kept most of the walls white when we decided we would eventually move rather than spending money on it! But I like to add some touches with the finishings! We had a good experience with Persimmon actually!
I like a lot of the things you added, particularly the consistent metal and wood shelves in the rooms which keeps it cohesive! I can see it would be a bit of a cramped space for 3 people but compared to our place in London, its a great amount of space for 2! Our place came with a similar beige tiling in the bathroom and my partner also hates them 😂
Thanks - honestly I’ve been dying to decorate more but it felt pointless since we’re moving. We decided 3 years ago this wouldn’t be our forever home. I’d love to add more colour to the walls and plough some money into it! It was a big step up from our previous home and it was nice when we both had a spare room each for hobbies, then the little boy come along and we had to smush those two rooms into one! We just have too many hobbies that take a lot of space, time and money 😂😂
You've got such a beautiful home!
Thank you so much!
You did well to get the piano up there!

@@CorinneAtHome Ha, not at all. I noticed you uploaded Salut D'Amour, which I should be uploading myself soon, but a different version.
@@leecornwall8381 I love that song! Which version? I just did an easy one, it's a grade 3 exam piece but it sounds decent for a grade 3 I think!
I love how much character you’ve added with the way you decorated 😊 did you have a good overall experience with Persimmon?
