This condition sucks. NOTHING will fix it but YOU. I’ve been through the ringer. If you don’t fall apart because of the pain and fear, you’ll learn something from it.
If your struggling with pelvic pain, do not go down the dark path of the thoughts that come with it. Try to understand that you you are embarking on learning something. Trust me, it’s not the end.
There is more than hope. Love to all of you people.
Well said. Thank you for sharing your experience.
It can be very hard to deal with pain - the more we don't fear the symptoms and see it through a lens of curiosity you can heal. It is not the end.
This has been a great learning experience, and I need it for pelvic issues. The best part, Dan, was watching you grin throughout her story. Love you
Right back at ya Barbara. :-)
Thanks so much. I hope your pelvic issues have gotten better.
So glad Laura got better. What a long journey. All these success stories are so inspirational.
Yes! Thank you! More to come.
Thank you so much.
Laura! What an amazing story. Thank you sooooo much for being willing to share. I went on a similar path with my migraines. I’m not 100% yet and I have faith that its coming. People like you are reinforcing that I’m on the correct path. I appreciate your candidness. Thanks Dan for sharing.
You are so welcome!
Thanks so much. Hope your doing well.
I related to this so much! Putting the diagnosis on the shelf and moving on with life. That's the cure!
What an amazIng story. Thank you Laura for sharing. And thank you Dan for everything you do. I also healed myself from 3 years of pelvic pain.
Wonderful! Thrilled you ended your pain. If you would like to share your story too, get on my schedule here: TalkWithDan.com - Success Story Interview. Congrats either way.
How did you do it?!?! 🙂 please let us know.
Thanks!
So happy to hear you are better.
Did you have rectum pressure pain glad your pain free xx@@feel.to.heal.wellness
Thanks for sharing this amazing success story Laura. I am so happy for you and feel that there is hope for me too. Thank you Dan for show casing another success story😊
You are so welcome!
You have pelvic pain?how are u?
Thanks so much. I appreciate your kind words. Hope you are doing better.
I HAD THAT SAME PELVIC EMBOLIZATION @ UCLA.
Before the procedure I was needing daily pain meds, (temporary vicoden) after the procedure the pain was so much worse I had to go I to pain management...what a nightmare! I lost several years of my life being drugged beyond belief! I resolved my pelvic pain on my own but didn't learn...years later I managed to manifest CRPS...currently dowsing myself in TMS literature daily and finally in a place where I'm learning to walk again 🙏
TMS is the right path. We can teach our brain that our body is already well. Keep at it. Not sure if you are aware, but I have a membership program where it's a combination of an online course and weekly group coaching sessions. Details are here: PainFreeYou.com/join
So glad to hear that you are doing better. The surgery did not help me at all unfortunately.
Thank you for sharing Laura, I can really relate to the disconnect from your children when in pain this is my ultimate sadness that my current situation has me in but I am applying the principles of taking back my power & finding joy as best I can!
Loving these inspirational stories & they're so helpful for drilling down the key messages for overcoming this, thanks Dan 😊
Thanks for the kind words. More success stories to come.
It is so hard when we have disconnect from our family. I can't change the past but I can change the present and the future.
Omg I would never have expected that Laura had an interview with Dan, she was such a great coach and helped me a lot. I just saw this. You both guys are great 👍 ❤️
Thank you Sofia. If you ever want to share your story, you can get on my schedule at TalkWithDan.com. Hope all is well.
Thank you!
Thanks so much. Hope your doing well.
Thank you so so much for sharing. It is a story about me with probably 95% overlap. It gives so much hope! ❤️
Awesome. You can do it!
Thanks so much. I hope your doing better.

Thank you Dan for everything you do..🙏🏼♥️
Thank you Lara! What a powerful and courageous journey you shared with us. I feel hopeful!
Thanks so much. If I can heal you can too.
Fabulous interview. Laura will make an excellent coach!
Thanks so much! Hope your doing well.
Wow!! I could have done this interview myself. Right down to the Tarlov Cysts which have been my biggest structural issue to get past mentally. thank you SO much for sharing your story!! You have given me so so so much hope. This is going right onto my evidence sheet ☺️ Laura you are a gem. It’s so brave to share, and it’s helping a lot of people, myself included!! I can relate to every bit of your story. It’s awful how many of us have been subjected to so much medical trauma and hopelessness. But thank God we have come to understand the neuroscience of pain and how to navigate it. I send you big hugs!! Thank you!!!
Fantastic Ellen. Thrilled you are now on the right path. Thrilled that this success story has helped you.
Me too! I have 2 tarlov cysts in my neck. Doesn't it just mess with your mind? I hate it.
Hi Ellen, how are you doing now after 7 months? I’ve been watching dans videos for a few months now and I’m 99% I have TMS, but obviously 100% is needed to heal and exactly like you it’s my tarlov cyst in my sacrum that is the hardest issue for me to get past as I have all the symptoms and I utterly terrified myself before I found TMS/Dan researching the cysts and seeing stories of people paralysed ect/people with the same size cyst as me in the same pain as me, so I can’t seem to get it out of my mind :-( annoying as had so much progress with my other body symptoms with tms, just can’t get over the tarlov cysts :( I’d be so so grateful if you could tell me how you got over this mentally and fully believed in tms x
Thank you!
Big hugs back to you. Knowledge is really the key to start navigating this. Give yourself lots of compassion.
Laura gives me hope my story is similar but muuuccch longer…35 years of pain and illness and 3 of severe pelvic pain now with no answers after many tests and surgeries ….but I KNOW it’s mind/body fueled.
@NEChristov omg 35 yrs that's terrible I am 13 yrs in pain and until now had no answers but I done the test on Dan's website and have PDP/TMS so I've looked at the fast start and started my journey. I've Pelvic nerve pain after getting a sacrum epidural injection for back pain that created the pelvic pain and Still have back pain . I do hope you are pain free now as I see it's 6mths ago your message was
Thank you Laura and Dan ... this is such an inspiring story and has given me many ideas!!!!
Our pleasure!
Thanks so much . Hope the ideas are helping.
What a great story! Thank you. I love the curiosity part, I am doing this a lot lately. I also laugh at this a lot too, in a very positive way.
Awesome.
Thanks. I hope looking at your symptoms with curiosity is helping. Give your pain compassion.
Great story and gives hope for many people suffering
Thank you
Thanks so much. Hope your doing well.

Great interview xx
Thank you so much.
Laura thanks for sharing and Dan , we love ya. Thanks!
You're welcome.
Thanks so much.
Hi Laura ❤thank you for this amazing story - I’ve been on this journey before overcoming significant back pain… recently I’ve been experiencing intense pelvic pain.. I’ve had some tests all ok 👌 the pain is real - the cause is not 😮it’s fear again - so grateful for this story Dan - it all makes sense I was triggered big time 3 weeks ago been in agony ever since.. dots are joining up … as they do the my fear goes down - allowing a space to heal x
I so resonate with this story! The determination and moral fortitude are inspiring! Kudos on slogging through VOMIT and emerging free on the other side...a true Shawshank redemption moral here!😁
Yes, she's amazing.
Thanks so much. This journey can be challenging but with persistence, determination, and confidences it is well worth it!
Great video. Dan has amazing interviewer skills! Congratulations!
Thanks so much!
@@PainFreeYou wish the very best for your mom and thank you for all your videos what made my life much much better. I am 99,99% cured after dark times.

This is great! Thanks for sharing with all of us! So much helpful info in this video!
Glad it was helpful!
@@PainFreeYouDan what if the PN or pelvic pain is from benzo ?CAn we consider as TMS?
@@morningwithgracie7870
Late reply but drug side effect. Tell prescribing physician so they can report to drug co.
So glad it was helpful. Hope your doing well.
Thank you Laura ! I a m in this journey. Urologist said to me I had bladder pain syndrome, nutcracker syndrome, endometriosis, pelvic congestion, pudental.... But Actually more I see vidéos, more I see this IS TMS!
Yes it is TMS. If Laura can get well, you can too. :-)
How are u marie
@@PainFreeYou Dan what If it's cause from benzo withrawal?
Great! So glad you are believing in the TMS diagnoisis.
Your story sounds so similar to mine! I also had a vestibulectomy surgery which i do not recommend! 10 + years for me and getting there slowly but reoccurring skin issues and cysts are making the healing journey slow because it looks and acts so physical. I can now mostly sit but I pray one day i can get back to jeans
@2:45 phantom hand adjusting the mic. 🤫Edit: @9:21 key diff btw addiction and physical dependence. First obv related to a high many (NOT all) get. Second to effect on pain receptors she talks about. You can have both but many have one or the other. Dismissing this diff is what led to unfair and inaccurate labeling/stigma of anyone on longterm opioids for chronic pain for any reason incl cancer, MS, mechanical dysfunction etc. A friend’s dad was victim of this and not given proper pain mgmt by his MD. He committed suicide and autopsy showed a screw from his last fusion surgery impinging a nerve.
This is the great teaching video thank you very much
Feel to heal! love it!
Me too.
Thanks so much.
Thank you so much for sharing your truth.
Thank you for sharing. So helpful!!!
You are so welcome!
Thank you so much.
thank you for sharing ! God bless!
Same to you!
Thanks so much. It was my pleasure to share.
Feel to heal :) great Laura!
yes!
Thanks so much!
Omg Laura you're so brave going through all that ! I have been having chronic UTIs and not sure if it's the same as my cultures are mostly positive ?
Since UTIs can be fatal and become chronic, it is important to point out that Laura almost certainly had an acute UTI. Unfortunately, by the time she went to her doctor she had diluted her sample too much to accurately test it. Furthermore, we now know that the dipstick test misses over 50% of UTIs and there is a lot of ongoing research into it for this very reason.
If she had been given antibiotics, she probably would have developed another TMS syndrome instead of "IC."
It's just important to point this out because of how serious untreated UTIs are.
having fun!! the prime directive!!
Exactly - go have some FUN!
@@PainFreeYou will do!! xoxoxoxox
Joy is the key. You can change habits quickly when you change them with joy.
Thank you for sharing this.
Thanks for listening
Thank you.
I had tarlov cyst surgery in Texas. It help I wonder if I had a placebo effect.
Those cysts are interesting. Many have them with no pain. Some have pain and they find the cyst. It's tough to say if your surgery was placebo or not. In the end, if the surgery got rid of the discomfort, doesn't matter what the mechanism.
I am so glad the surgery helped you regardless. I have tarlov cysts that do not cause pain and for some people they actually do.
Excellent.
Many thanks!
Thank you.
Great story
Just Bought The Warrior Heart book by HeatherAsh Amara to breakdown emotions to the feeling, story, truth and intent
Thankyou Dan
You are welcome.
Great book. Hope it helped.
I have sacrolilac pain - abolutely disgusting - drinking a lot of alcohol - many specialists - MRI erosive osteochondrosis L4, they say L5 nerve severely compressed - stereotype TMSer am tired and finished - no sleep
Hey Green. Are you aware of what TMS is? It means that the pain is created by the brain, not body, and is based on the brains perception of danger. Get a foundational understanding and then see if your pain is behaving like TMS/PDP or from these structural things the doctors believe are the cause. This page walks you through the knowledge and assessment: www.PainFreeYou.com/start
@@PainFreeYou Thanks for quick reply. Have read two of Sarno's books and SteveOs. I have had general anxiety disorder (severe gastrointenstinal problems caused by psyche) and have had abusive childhood. Friends say its in my mind. Perfectionist, hard worker, go-getter and extremely sensitive. However, the diagnosis of erosive osteochondrosis (L4) with end plate involvement with bulging disk pressing against L5 nerve makes it difficult for me to ignore structural diagnosis.
@@greenleader413 Take the assessments. The imaging studies are WAY less important than how the pain behaves. Tons of people in the world have been misdiagnosed with structural problems and it was TMS all along. Take the assessments. www.PainFreeYou.com/start
@@PainFreeYou Thanks I scored 31
@@greenleader413 Yep - that means your brain is creating the pain.
I am wondering why Laura hasn't brought up her PGAD symptoms in this interview..
Success stories often don't detail every symptom when they have been able to overcome them all. Thats because the solution for one symptom is the same as it is for everything else.
@@PainFreeYou is PGAD without pain TMS ?
@@nihadlaouar5636 yes, with enough FEAR and ATTENTION, any symptom can be learned by the brain and become persistent.
@@nihadlaouar5636 Yes it is. Any symptoms can be learned with fear and attention.

Sounds like she did some methods of Byron Katie work .....another guy Hale Dwoskin the sedona method
There are many roads that lead to Rome.
I did not do any of Byron Katie's work but It is probably very similar. Whatever people resonate with the most is the path they should take.
Oh yeah...those ah ha moments!!💡
Yep.
Those aha moments really helped with my evidence.
Laura your story sounds very very similar to mine ! I’ve had test after test procedures that did nothing 😭 I’m at my wits end . My pain came on after I was forced cold turkey off ativan I took as prescribed that I never should have been on 🤬 I can’t sit stand or lay down without excruciating debilitating pain! I want to live but the severity of the pain makes me want to give up but I DO want to live ! I just want hope that I too can get better ❤️🩹
@sweetmoutainbaby I hope you are pain free now as I see you sent this message 6mths ago. You sound like me now. I can't sit nor lie flat on my back , nor on my left side I can on my right but not without pain . I 100% understand what you mean you want to live but not like this .
