These stories are just totally mind blowing. I'm starting to wonder whether almost all physical symptoms are TMS! 🤔 Dan you are like an island of calm in this crazy world - thank you for all that you do!

I recently found this channel and I've been scouring the success stories for stomach issues. A lot on pain, but not what I'm dealing with. I have SIBO, leaky gut, and an ulcer, but I keep hearing that it's TMS. I also have itching, tinnitus, heart palps, hair loss, etc. It helps me have confidence when I hear others overcoming the same issues. Thank you!

I have globus. I stopped eating because it would get worse. I went from 141 pounds to 101. Then I started this journey. I knew it was TMS and I wasn’t going to die. ( went through extensive testing). I still have globus but I am eating again and have gained back 23 pounds. This gives me hope. Thanks.

Dan, thank you so much for this story. Knowing that I do not have to dig deep in anxiety, to solf that. In stead more calming myself that nerve system can go down because there is no longer fear. I am not broken. My body issues grew by to much stress and worry. My blood flow got so high to my head that caused earproblems, hypercausis and tinnitus got worse. It started low in the beginning.

I had that bladder pain too. That was my first TMS pain, they call it interstitial cystitis because they don’t really know what causes it, but eventually that went away, and then the next symptom came, which was gastritis and Gastro paresis in my stomach. That turned out to be an autoimmune gastritis. All completely stress related because it happened after Covid stress. that’s pretty much resolved but now I have muscle twitching and neuropathy in my hands and feet. Luckily, every symptom I have is not all at one time it just manifests into something new each time. I didn’t realize until listening to Dan that all of these things were TMS related so now I can tackle the neuropathy and muscle twitching with the skills that I have learned. Knowing that this is not a vitamin deficiency in my brain MRI has been cleared. This is totally symptoms from a completely shot nervous system!

It only added symptoms for me, but still it hasnt lessened. It only lessened when I did some really deep relaxing stuff. Question for Dan and Lisa: should I be focussing on relaxing more (emotionally)? Because, you are also supposed to be able to handle some stress right? And it not immediately getting worse again?

And which books helped her the most. I know that was in the beginning so I guess I have to go back and listen again but I’m just not totally clear on what she did. Meaning did she meditate? I see I see that she needed reassurance and calming and knowing that she’s OK and is safe which I get. I just want a little more understanding of exactly what she did. Wish I could talk to her.

    • @PainFreeYou
      @PainFreeYou  2 года назад

I have asked and Lisa told me the doctor is not taking new patients. I have MANY people around the world getting well without the aid of a mindbody doctor. You can determine if your pain/symptoms are mindbody or physical through the assessments below. Then the solution I teach each day has been very effective for people in reducing or eliminating symptoms entirely.
      Foundational Information: Understanding Pain
      Watch the video at: PainFreeYou.com
Watch the video about Perceived Danger Pain: ruclips.net/video/tnU6KBAv5fg/видео.html - this explains SO much of what is going on.
Next Level: Determining if your pain is from TMS/PDP:
Take the pain test: DanBuglio.com/paintest - a score over 29 means you have TMS / Perceived Danger Pain. This also means you CAN end your symptoms.
Do the FIT assessment below. If you answer yes to even one of the criteria, it is very likely your brain creating the pain based on perceived danger.
      FUNCTIONAL:
-Symptoms began without a physical precipitation
-Symptoms persist after an injury has healed (3-6 mo)
-Symptoms are in a distribution pattern that is symmetric
-Symptoms occur on one whole side of the body or occur on half of the face, head, or torso
-Symptoms spread over time to different areas of the body
-Symptoms radiate to the opposite side of the body or down a whole leg or arm
-Symptoms that occur in many different body parts at the same time
-Symptoms that have a quality of tingling, electric, burning, numb, hot or cold
      INCONSISTENT:
-Symptom shift from one location in the body to another
-Symptoms are more or less depending on the time of day. Or they occur first thing in the morning or in the middle of the night
-Symptoms occur after, but not during, an activity or exercise
-Symptoms occur when one thinks about them or when someone asks about it
-Symptoms occur when stresses increased or one thinks about stressful situations
-Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent when engaged and joyful or distracting activities, such as when on vacation
-Symptoms are minimal or nonexistent after some kind of therapy, such as massage, chiropractic, Reiki, acupuncture, an herbal or vitamin supplement
      TRIGGERED:
-symptoms are triggered by things that are not related to the actual symptom, such as foods, smells, sounds, light, computer screens, menses, changes in the weather
-symptoms are triggered by the anticipation of stress, such as prior to school, work, a doctors visit, a medical test, a visit to a relative, or a social gathering; or during those activities
-symptoms that are triggered by simply imagining engaging in the triggering activity such as bending over, turning the neck, sitting or standing
-symptoms that are triggered by light touch or innocuous stimuli, such as the wind or cold
Moving forward: Free general recommendations. Many around the globe are getting well with just my free content.
Now you know what is causing pain. Next step is beginning to TEACH the brain to turn it off. Since perceived danger is what turns pain on, teaching safety is the solution. This vide gives you many examples of messages of safety. ruclips.net/video/5SsKnAgAvnY/видео.html
Begin to watch my free daily coaching videos at DansRUclips.com. A new video posts daily at 5am Eastern. (NYC Time zone) Many are getting better implementing the concepts taught in my free daily videos. ruclips.net/user/PainFreeYouvideos
Getting more help: If you would like to fast track your recovery I have two options.
Individual coaching: DanBuglio.com/coaching - Unfortunately there is only so much time in the day. I am booked solid for approximately 4-6 weeks in advance. Keep in mind, there is no reason to wait that long to get my help. You get the same information and more support with my…

Anyone had any success with throat/voice/speech problems ? I've been suffering with servere T.M.S in every part of my body for the past twenty seven years which has left me pretty much house bound and during that time I've had a lot of ridicolous stuff going on in my throat that's made it difficult for me to speak and swallow but up till a few years ago although it hurt and I had some difficulties pronuncing words and making myself understood I was able to talk. Now, for some reason the throat problems have gotten a lot worse and I can barely manage to grunt out a few words. I gave up all hope of bannishing the other symptoms (servere back and neck pain, shoulder problems blah, blah, blah) a long, long time ago but I can't live with the loss of my ability to speak. Talking to friends on the phone was my only connection to the world outside of my house and if I can't get that back I have absolutely nothing for live for.
    Any ideas ?

The traveling circus of symptoms, I know it well. Taking care of people is brutal. Go to feeling good podcast of Dr. David Burns. Antidepressants not needed. It is about clear thinking.

I have never been so sure of what is wrong. But I have never also suffered so much.
My mother is also in the hospital . She became delirious and out of control. Aggressive, doesn’t recognize people. She is 96. I think s he is going to move in a long term care. She was living alone. I decided not go to see her. She is not in the same town. We didn’t have a good relationship especially since my father died. And I decided I didn’t want to see her like that. But the struggle is huge. I haven’t seen for 3 years because of COVID and ongoing relationship issues.
It is incredible how the brain creates such a struggle.
I know what it is. Would be so nice to have a mentor, even someone that lived this struggle to be with.
The problem is not to believe in tms. The problem is to live with the huge tension mainly shoulders neck head it is creating. And I am so much more active than I was but the tension is going nowhere . Yet!

The WASTE in the medical complex is literally MIND BOGGLING!🤯. Pharmaceuticals, therapies galore, & THE COSTS OF SURGERIES! If we got rid of those wasteful things that do not work, our citizens could all afford must less costly health insurance - whether employer or government provided. Just the costs of SPINE SURGERIES in the U.S. is billions every year.😳
