    Growing up and living in Southern California , Mexican are just part of the culture. Strongly present through music , food , culture . We all celebrate Cinco De Mayo on our own way . In a way , we celebrate them . We can not imagine California without them . Hard working people who complain less and endure more . 😃😃😍

    When you remember that Texas was a state of MEXICO that made the mistake of letting English/American settlers start farms in her lands. That those American settlers rose up against rheir gracious host country because it did not allow slavery, and the Americans each wanted to own and farm more land than 1 farmer/family could physically tend. So the American settlers stole Texas...but lots of formerly Mexican families were in Texas when this happened. So there are people of Mexican heritage with far deeper roots that the caucasian residents.

    • @Grumpy19
      @Grumpy19 2 года назад +2

      Get over it. You ask people to stop looking into their past when it comes to American heritage. But you are ok with going to the past on immigration issues

      @@Grumpy19 yep! It's so typical to slap the hand that helps. If Texas had stayed Mexican where would you be?? In the same state than the rest of tge border towns, at the mercy of smugglers and cartels. This is the reason half of Mexican citizens are already here. So this woman has a house in Mexico, then why are you complaining? You would not even have a brick if you had stayed there. You, as millions more, have benefited by hard honest work. And still you complain, incredible!

    • @boopeep9670

      Who taught you that garbage? That is not the history of Texas or Mexico for that matter. That is some really a simplistic incorrect view of what happened to Texas and Mexico. You left out all the other countries that were involved not to mention the indigenous people that were there before Mexicans. As far as people tending more land than a single-family it’s called a profession they’re called farmers. If not for farmers creating food for others there would be no other professions like doctors and nurses or they would be too busy tending their land. That’s how we cooperate so we can have other things like clothes ,carpenters, mechanics…. It’s called a civilization or society. It makes the best use of everybody’s individual skills and allows them to have more than what they can only make themselves. It was the original barter system. Without people forming more land than one family needs you would only own the things you can make so you can say goodbye to your computers or Internet or electricity… I really hope you’re a kid still learning these things and not an adult and that is your worldview.
