Its not just that Darby kept kicking out, its that he kept having a dynamic recovery and stayed on an offensive until the end. Frequently down but never out was what they were showing us for Darby, and Cody played his part as the intelligent seasoned combatant to make it go the distance.

He's lived with darkness, & he focuses it all on every match...
See when people say that wrestling is dumb, i say "you're right but also watch this" and show them matches like this. You could watch that match muted without knowing anything about wrestling and still fully understand the story being told and be in awe of the spots.
