@@DonovanGG__ Well he's right. You really need to expand your taste if you can't see the genius of songs like Bad Cameo and Missing Man. I think atmospheric ambient sounding music just isn't your thing.
@@riquetc0060 “expand your music taste” nah bro you’ve got it twisted actually lol, I listen to all genres and have studied music for a long time. I love the “atmospheric ambient sounding music.” Btw it has a name lmao. Kid A is one of my favorite albums of the 2000s. I love this type of music, but the truth of the matter is that this album wasn’t very well executed. Its exciting for rap fans to listen to something different, but we have to keep it 100. The album was just simply ok. I’m not saying it was bad. The only track that was executed at a very high level was Midnight. The album has major issues. The performances were pretty mediocre, the drums used sounded horrible and didn’t even complement the soundscape, and the mixing was poor in many cases. It seems like Yachty and Blake were just in a rush creatively, and maybe they just don’t have great chemistry together. The dynamic between the two just didn’t work on every song. Its fine to disagree but I kinda caught you with the “expand your taste” comment. Tbh its you that needs to expand your taste and learn a bit more about music history and theory if you think this is great and “genius” music lol. Venture out bro👍

Yachty also coproduced, he is very underrated as a producer.
Yeah i was thinking the same, i get they are familiar with james blake production but yachty also produced every song i think
