Hey guys, today we are going into a strange temple in India, there is something very very different about these stones. There seems to be a weird energy in this temple, and as we go towards the center of the structure, the energy seems to increase.
But is this energy divine, mystical energy, or is it some type of physical energy that can be quantified? You see the base here, there is a lot of tiny, cylindrical stone statues. This is very odd, I have not seen this type of architecture, but let’s see what happens? Yeah, this one rotates. This is unbelievable. Why is this saint who is in deep meditation, designed to rotate? But is this the only rotating statue? Let’s go further and check another one, see, this one also rotates. And this one also rotates. Actually all these tiny statues rotate or they used to be rotatable in the past. If you see this area here, you can see these statues, but you can also see these holes. In ancient times, there were various rotatable statues here too, but somehow they are all gone now. Only some of the rotating statues are left. This is an extraordinary finding, but my question is not, how they made these rotating statues, is not even why they made these rotating statues, but are there more rotating or moving parts in this temple? Let me repeat this question, Look around, very carefully, are there more moving parts in this temple? What if, there are many moving parts in this temple, hiding in plain sight? Now, look at the top, in this area, you see these three carvings? Are they rotatable, or are they all just part of the same bigger stone block attached to them? Let me show you this corner, again three more statues, but are they rotatable? Think about it guys, am I just being paranoid in thinking that everything in this temple is movable? Or are they actually movable? Make up your mind now because I am going to show you this side, right next to it. Yes, you see these holes, these three holes, this means that rotating statues were once present here. There is no need for these holes if these statues were a part of the same stone block next to them. Let me again remind you how we saw these holes at the top and bottom at the ground level, there are holes at the bottom, and at the top to aid the rotation. So, there is absolutely no doubt, that these statues at the top are also rotating statues. But we are not done yet, are there more moving parts in this temple? Look above, in the ceiling. This is mind-blowing. Will this also rotate? Is this a rotatable stone? What do you think? If this does not rotate, why did ancient builders make such a design, that looks like the propeller of a vimana, I mean aircraft? You have seen these rotating propellers in aircraft, and you can see that this looks remarkably similar to those propellers. But the question is, will it also rotate, like the propeller of a vimana? Now, are these moving parts limited to this central area, or do they have moving parts all around this temple? As we walk around, look carefully, see if you can find other moving parts. Yes, you are right. These are also rotating statues. Let me zoom in and show you. Here you can see the hole at the top. Here, in the next hole, a statue is mounted in it. You see the clearance between the hole and the statue, this gap is intentionally given to make the statue rotate without any friction. As we walk around, we can spot many, many stone parts that are movable. This is crazy, right? Because we can understand that these are rotating statues, but who can climb up, 15 feet and manually rotate these statues? Why should anybody rotate these statues? This is like putting a light switch 15 feet above the floor, nobody puts a light switch 15 feet above, because it needs to be usable, right? But nobody can use this, no one can rotate these objects.
Even worse, I think nobody knows that these statues at the top are rotatable, I think I have re-discovered this after many centuries.

The parts are rotatable but the whole temple getting transformed into a different structure is ....bit far fetched.🧐
Perhaps much of the screenwriters for movies such as Transformers were inspired by such temples?
Temples are divinely fascinating!!
*nice video praveen but the chains are used to collect water not to harness energy in rural India we can still find these chains but they are made up of iron*

@@RealPraveenMohanPraveen You are amazing...we may not come to any conclusion regarding the amazing Temples you describe since Our whole generations were lost in invasions...daughters and Sons alike...none left alive...I cannot express the pain these barbarians have caused and continue to do on our beautiful motherland and culture...we could have been such an amazing culture with new advancements but the whole chain was broken and Human fallacies like Caste etc. Crept in due to the survival instincts.....I feel sad that maybe we might never achieve the spiritual and Minute/sookhshma knowledge of our predecessors ever in this lifetime.
I am in mind with you. There's no way these structures which so closely resemble the Vimanas the Gods drove could not work on their own. Maybe the builders didn't have the original material the Vimana builders had, but clearly they made remarkable contraptions out of stone that smoothly move without problems. It seems either the temples were build like Vimanas to either honor the Gods how They came to this planet, or with the hopes the Gods would return and use the temples to travel around like They used to. Absolutely breathtaking architecture, no matter the reason.

"archeologists", they need a better name like a scientist, this area of work knoledge i think comes closer to actually needing a wider area of base knoledge, as no digging in this video was needed and it is not dated too old, but the information is remarkable. :)
In ancient India lot of focus was on Natyashashtra or theater. This technique could be used to show different collage to the viewers watching a play in the temple. There could have been some mechanism to rotate the statues using a handle so that accordingly a play or Natak could be shown with different scenes. Temples also had a gallery for viewers and maybe some dance forms would also be performed there in front of many people. Art and culture along with science was thus propagated in ancient times.
Good explanation
A possible alternative explanation more true if you refuse to be creative and think out of box.
What PM says is like a sci fiction which very often translates to actual science after a while.
Similarly I think his ancient- history fiction may also lead to actual science discoveries of past-future.
Praveen Mohan, your brilliance as an investigator of Indian sculpture is beyond imagination. It's as if you were an engineer or craftsman from that era, who has miraculously traveled through time to uncover and revive the rich heritage of Hindu culture.

Awesome job as usual Praveen👏🏽. The temple renovated by Kulottunga Chola in the 12th century had Hoysalas who ruled Tamilnadu and Karnata’s Vijayanagara rulers just poured money and land into it. While Hoysalas donated a lot of land, money and the crown for the main deity the Vijayanagara rulers expanded the temple. The 100 pillar hall with the beautiful carved pillars and the stone chains are masterpieces of Vijayanagara architecture. One can see the stone chains in Hampi as well! Can’t imagine the greatness we would be fortunate to see if we lived during those ages🙏

Wow, amazing! Before you even mentioned Vimana, that is exactly what I pictured in my head and those intricately carved pillars look like jets, which would have fire coming out of them when taking off, or, landing. I have seen many rotating parts in temples over the years, however, now, I see them in a completely different light. Genius, simply genius - the Indus civilisation was so advanced beyond imagination. When I was younger back in the day, I use to laugh at all these dramas of myth and legend, until I physically started visiting these sites in India myself and to this day, I am just blown away by the detail and accuracy of measurements, the sculpting work and sheer complexity of temple designs. Cymatic frequencies created by chanting or playing instruments such as gong's and horns could set up a vibration in the temple that would rotate the statues. Furthermore the rotating statues could create an electrostatic charge in the temple that could cause other very interesting effects such as static charge to cloth and paper causing levitation, sonoluminescence, static discharge as sparks, and one might even observe cherenkov radiation (blue light) in stone cisterns.
I wish government had even 5% of dedication of what Praveen Sir has
Every master craftsman has something that they do special that others don’t and that special thing is what they’re known for amongst the others in their field of work. Some do hidden compartments others do combination locks and still others combine skills where with the right combination compartments or designs are revealed. It’s difficult to carve those statues but imagine how much more difficult it is to make it spin. These builders were showing their love.

Hey Praveen great rediscovery. I feel that the moving parts would help the temple keep stable during earthquakes. Praveen is a keen observer of detail and can think in terms of modern or even advanced/future tech. I think 99% of people would just totally overlook many details as "decorative" and find it very difficult to think of something which they think of as "old/ancient" from a modern, practical and/or functional way. When Praveen points out the details and suggests the meaning or use, it seems so obvious and straightforward but it's a skill that you need the right mindset for and for most doesn't come easily.

My theory is that since these statues and decorations are so detailed and eloborate, they may have been designed to be carved off site even by many artists and later put in place.
It may have been the first modular architecture.
Thanks a lot for sharing precious knowledge praveen
Glad you liked my content dear Veerababu, Do share it with others too!

@@RealPraveenMohan Thank you so much Sir 🤗😃 looking forward to gain more knowledge with you 😄
I do not know if this means anything but once i had a dream with my Guru that i was walking or flying over a mysterious temple in India dedicated i think to Vishnu and telepathically i was told the way to unlock the Temple and its mysteries is through a mantra. I presume being in Dharma and Devotion to God we get the keys to open . Thank You for very interesting video as usual 😊
Most welcome!
Its my hometown. I have been to this temple whenever i feel to and believe me or not, i knew those statues above the pillars are rotatable as in my childhood many priests in the temple say the same. But your theory really made me soak in thoughts dude.... Thanks a lot ❤
Where is this temple please
I remember having some discussions with my grand mother as a kid after returning from Hampi in karnataka. My granny told me few temples have fixed yet rotating stone sculptures that represent immortal yet punished ancient people like Vishwatthama. And those missing have been released from material earth after they served their sentence or curse. Not sure if its true. But it's exciting
It could be...
Thank you again for showing us ,what our ancestors left for us..
🙏
Great find Mr Praveen. Its very intriguing .. even frustrating sometimes, that we actually dont know who, why and how they built all these wonders. As you rightly said, these wonders are hiding in plain sight amd thanks to the religious practices, most of them have been preserved. And thanks to you we are rediscovering these. That could one of the purposes why they were built to last ....to tell us the future generation ... that they were there.
Thanks your gentle words add to my exuberance too!😊
My home is two streets away from varadaraja perumal temple. Its surprising that many locals including me arent aware of the design of this temple. 😮
😊🙏
thank you for your great service to our religion, culture, ancestors, and country! You are giving hope to our people as well as our coming generation!
