This my first time building anything like this so all my cuts are not on point by any means but you get the point, no blueprint just what I had in my mind.. This coop was pretty much free to build which is the best part with the price of wood right now. If have comments drop at the bottom THANK YOU!!

Take what you have and make what you need
Glitter and sprinkle 🤣, I love it! I'm going to use blocks to keep my coop off the ground
Thanks lol..I do have bricks under it as well I definitely forgot say that
I am researching building a coop and I appreciate you sharing your ideas. I love your chicks' names! They seem really happy in their run.
Thank you
THYU 4 SHARING NICE VIDEO
MY NEW BRO
You did well even though it is the first time making some thing like this. Thanks for sharing.
Thank you appreciate that
You did a great job. And on the miss cut on the door all you did was add some much-needed ventilation so that’s good.
Thanks..didn't think of thst way good point 👍🏽
Great job! However, I would definitely put different latches on your doors, the latches you have on there are too easy for other critters to open and gain access to your girls.
Even in Australia, there's no "critters" that can undo simple latches, lol.
I don't have any critters to worry about the only thing that could is raccoon have never seen them..thanks you I thought about it
Do what you gotta do! There is definitely a learning curve. Good job man🤙
6:28 🤣🤷♂️...made it work!
Ay shit happens 😂
I think it is pretty good, I use shredded cardboard and paper for bedding in my coop
Thank you I've been using wood chips..speaking of i need clean my coop out lol
@@2wheelgardener I use the deep litter method in my coop, with 20 hens, and still have not cleaned my coop in over 3 years, just add more cardboard, throw some grain in it now and then to encourage the girls to stir it up
I've heard about that method ..i was thinking about trying it. But I can'tfigure how get coop totally water proof...I usually throw the old in compost
@@2wheelgardener I would just put the same sheeting on the roof, as you did on the run, done deal buddy
Inspirational, looks like a beautiful place to live.
Thanks...I think they like it plenty space for them
I had a hawk flying around for about w weeks, his remains now lay behind my coop so other hawks get the messege
🤣 do what you gotta do..Lucky my hawks gave up
