Same here man 2020 was diagnosed with stage 4. Treatments suck, but a lot of tech videos and joey here helped me complete my first build. Cancer sucks, but u gotta keep goin at all costs. Best luck to u on ur journey #kfg

Another GPU option if you don't mind one used is the RX 580. The 8GB version has double the VRAM, more performance and also cheaper. Being sold on Ebay for $100 - $120.
i built mine for work and gaming. Currently getting my degree in Computer Information Systems so i wanted a good PC for everything. Was able to get MSI 3060 card at a really good price!

Can you test the pc with JRPGs like persona four golden along with the shooters it would be nice for gamers like me,I understand that the main target don’t play games like the persona series on pc please and thank u for your time.
The 5500 does not have pcie 4.0 support so I would recoommend the 5600 or an i3 12100f+b660 combo to anyone wanting to replicate this build.The gpu would perform a little bit better that way.

Finally someone pointed it out! RX 6400 and RX6500XT were designed to run on PCIE 4.0 due to having less than x16 lanes, so if its run in PCIE 3.0 you're basically bottle necking your own gpu and not utilizing its fullest potential! If you can find a cheap Ryzen 3000 series chip go for it, if not 5000 series is where you want to be at and for intel well the 12100f and a h610 will work fine as well

If you're good with going used you should probably get something used instead of the rx 6400.

I have another question does it matter if i have a power led not a he led ?? Also i have everything the exact same except the psu does this matter and would this cause me to have to use more cables from the psu because the only ones i am using are the 24pin one and the one for the cpu but the pc just won’t turn on

rtx 2060 used and i3 12100 or ryzen 5 3600 would be a much better value for the $ if your editing id get the 5th gen ryzen but you could really put alot more towards the gpu and get a 2060 for under 250$ which will destroy a rx 6400 easily doable for under 600$

Just a fair warning, the Ryzen 5 5500 though it’s really good value, when paired with the RX 6400, you’re losing quite a bit of performance. The R5 5500 only allows up to Gen 3 speed. Since the 6400 only utilizes 8x PCIe lanes at Gen 4, running it at Gen 3 effectively lowers its performance by half, so it’d be like you’re only running the card with 4x PCIe Gen 4.
Nonetheless very simple and clean build, I’d recommend saving up a bit more and going for either a 6600 or a 6600XT
Edit: Alternatively you could just go for the 5600X, which would be cheaper than saving up for the 6600, good luck builders!

Hey woah missed a rather important step make sure when installing the io shield you bend the pieces of metal out so that the do not interfere with your ports as if you don’t do this you might not have access to some ports so you’ll have to take the motherboard back out of the case
Could I change the mother board to the Asus prime B550M-a (wifi), or it won’t be supported. Or should I use the wifi adapter? I still can’t decide
