I appreciate ur videos , I had stage four cancer back in 2020 and I couldn’t leave my room basically (other than treatments) so I watched a bunch of tech videos , urs are the reason I actually bought the components and built my first pc. My first like 7 builds were all watching ur videos while building. Thank you for providing entertainment and a new hustle to some of us that now flip these things. I appreciate ya.

I also built my first gaming PC in Christmas 4 years ago. I still remember spending all night as well lol, and that feeling of getting it working was something else, and it's all thanks to you! Rock on my dude.
Loved the video. I'm in my 40s and never understood anything about pcs or how to build. Thanks to your video I did my very first build with my son. You taught 2 different generations how this works and we appreciate it. Much love from me and my son
Joey you taught me how to build my pc prior to 2020, now I'm on my third or fourth iteration of the system. Thanks for spreading the knowledge of PC building.
I never get tired of watching these in repetition in addition, I also appreciate these back to back to back uploads! You love to see it! Joey, keep on grinding man, keep on doing what you do, I'll always be there to support you! Love it! I also was able to enter the PC Gaming journey because of your builds so from the bottom of my heart, thank you for doing this! I'll forever love you!
Your guides helped me build my first PC earlier this year. Even before I built one, watching your channel helped me and gave the the confidence to build one because I was pretty sure I couldn't. Thanks, man! ✌️
i built mine for work and gaming. Currently getting my degree in Computer Information Systems so i wanted a good PC for everything. Was able to get MSI 3060 card at a really good price!
Bro you’re the reason I got into pc building like 2 years ago I did the gtx 1660 super build and I fell in love instantly with your videos and pc building
Saw his previous 2 builds, that literally convinced me to place an order for a new pc replacing my almost 10yo rig. Would loved building my own but I just didnt hv time for it
I haven’t even had the means to build a pc yet I just love watching your videos and when I do eventually build one it will for sure be one of your builds I’ll be following. So glad for the more uploads and looking forward to future videos!
The 5500 does not have pcie 4.0 support so I would recoommend the 5600 or an i3 12100f+b660 combo to anyone wanting to replicate this build. The gpu would perform a little bit better that way. Thanks for bringing back budget builds.Always enjoyed these low budget builds from you :)
Finally someone pointed it out! RX 6400 and RX6500XT were designed to run on PCIE 4.0 due to having less than x16 lanes, so if its run in PCIE 3.0 you're basically bottle necking your own gpu and not utilizing its fullest potential! If you can find a cheap Ryzen 3000 series chip go for it, if not 5000 series is where you want to be at and for intel well the 12100f and a h610 will work fine as well
Joey, thanks to you I'm going to build my first ever PC this week. I've been watching this video and others almost on repeat and can't wait to get the parts in the mail to start actually putting it together. Honestly even though I graduated from an IT school can you believe they never taught us how to build a PC at all? You're a far better and fun teacher so thanks man. Side note: My last name is also Delgado. LOL
I'm building my rig for both gaming and design. I've been collecting parts for over a year, just have a couple of more small parts to go. I discovered your channel thru another video by someone who was building their own pc and they mentioned your videos and the comments were like yeah Joey Delgado is a solid choice and I was like I gots to knowwww You've actually done a build with the same parts I have so I'm super grateful I have that video to refer to 🥺💚
I am literally going to be building this in a week, thank you so much for this build, the smoothness of gameplay plus the frame rate is insane for the money being spent
Man I remember building my first ever build back in 2017, it was an absolute piece of garbage for $500. So cool to see PC gaming become even more accessible every year.
Hey woah missed a rather important step make sure when installing the io shield you bend the pieces of metal out so that the do not interfere with your ports as if you don’t do this you might not have access to some ports so you’ll have to take the motherboard back out of the case
Just a fair warning, the Ryzen 5 5500 though it’s really good value, when paired with the RX 6400, you’re losing quite a bit of performance. The R5 5500 only allows up to Gen 3 speed. Since the 6400 only utilizes 8x PCIe lanes at Gen 4, running it at Gen 3 effectively lowers its performance by half, so it’d be like you’re only running the card with 4x PCIe Gen 4. Nonetheless very simple and clean build, I’d recommend saving up a bit more and going for either a 6600 or a 6600XT Edit: Alternatively you could just go for the 5600X, which would be cheaper than saving up for the 6600, good luck builders!
Love the videos. I learned how to build a PC from these. Had no clue. I was honestly afraid to try really. Thought Id for sure mess something up and waste tons of money. But nope. Your videos nailed it and I had a blast. Since I watched that video like.. 5 years ago or something? I've never bought another PC from anywhere. I've build my own, built family members/ones for the kids. Great stuff. Keep it up.
My mans always coming through with the kind of videos that make PC building feel possible for a newbie like me. Also forever gonna pray for the day Joey sauces with a pastel blue and white inspired build, cause that's my prime aesthetic 👀
I followed your 1400 guide a couple years back and its great. It was the start of the pc crisis but well worth it and I've mentioned about you to everyone who wants to build their first one cause your guides are so great. I built mine to have a pc to game and not have to keep buying consoles and memberships, its faster than any of my consoles so its well worth, plus my IRL friends are on pc as well.
If you want Ryzen I'd personally wait until 7000 series, they will have DDR5 support for the future (even though its expensive now) and are supposed to have a good performance gain as well.
Another GPU option if you don't mind one used is the RX 580. The 8GB version has double the VRAM, more performance and also cheaper. Being sold on Ebay for $100 - $120.
