note about "selected tracks via master" ... if you have compression on master, the compression is applied to each individual stem in isolation... it doesn't apply compression as it would when you have the sum of all tracks going through the master compression.

Great Video! I learned a LOT during the "Render to File" segment and you answered so many of the questions that I have had! Nicely done, Adam!

Audacity supports multichannel files. 2nd pass render -- so that's why game music composers all use Reaper.

ADAM! You might want to DOUBLE CHECK your pricing page from the link below ... I think you have a SERIOUS TYPO! Regular price of $199 but I can BUY NOW for only $197! But, inside the checkout page the price is $99. Heads Up, bro!

Hello and thank you for taking time to make these videos. However, as myself being new to the home studio setup and Reaper, I am not finding this series should be labeld as "101." It seems as those many things as a beginner that I would like to know are being bypassed or maybe you have not reached that point in the series yet? I find these instructionals geared more towards someone who has had experience in recording with maybe another DAW and your just teaching to them on how to "apply" things in Reaper? I find you getting ready to touch on some things and then going "I will get to that later." Naturally, maybe I am in the wrong place or need to find a more basic tutorial geared towards a total beginner from scratch? For example (unless I overlooked things) I have not seen any insrturction on how to copy and paste a media track, or how to split it or how to make loops. Those type of things I would like to see ONE track created and then learn all the basics from that one track. Did I overlook something? I was just under the impression by "Reaper 101" this would be for the total recording beginner....but maybe it is just for the "Reaper" beginner who already knows the basics of a DAW? This is not mean't as an offensive post...you do many great things for people in your videos and I applaud you. Just want to know if I am in the wrong place. Thank you.
