Barrels do explode in fc5 ofc, just only when shot, like irl XD. I like it better that way as it's unrealistic for it to blow up when getting punched unless you have a super human punch speed lol

Metal Gear Solid V is kind of like Far Cry plus Assassin's Creed. Resident Evil 5 is pretty good if you liked 4 as long as you are ok with the AI partner. A bit more linear and streamlined however, but practically the same gameplay. Just Cause 3 is like Far Cry outpost system but combined with GTA V and all the cheats are on. It can get repetitive, but only if you run out of ideas because it is a sandbox game. It only gets repetitive if you make it repetitive. Oh and if you haven't played Grand Theft Auto V it is kind of something everyone should play regardless of game tastes.
