    Hi Demi, it's interesting that you picked VOO, but you may also consider delving into Ireland domiciled ETFs like VUSA/IUSA, I avoid VOO cos of the high tax of 30%. Personally I think pick CSPX, as I believe in not getting a dividend but rather just reinvest the surplus

      CSPX is a good bet. Ended up with it as well for the reasons you mentioned

    Hi Demi! Thanks for the insightful video. I’m curious to know your thoughts on an Investment-Linked Plan (ILP) via an insurance provider VS other investment channels you mentioned in the video. Which is the better choice?

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  11 месяцев назад +1

      Hi I personally think, keep insurance and investments separate.

    Hi Demi! Thanks for the video :) I just started using the UOB one card and paired it with the UOB one account. However, I do not see any interest cashback for my UOB one credit card on my statement. Is this because it is combined with my UOB one account monthly interest rebate? Or do I not receive any cashback if I use both UOB one card & account? Thank you!!

      @hssssssssssss 11 месяцев назад

      Need to hit 3 months of minimum spend for UOB one card to get the cashback

    Hi Demi, is there any reason why u choose SSB on an avg of 3%++ p.a over MMF like syfe guaranteed 3.7% p.a to deploy your cash?

    • @AbcBakery
      @AbcBakery 11 месяцев назад +1

      SSB is 100% backed by MAS and low chances at defaulting. It is very stable and easy to withdraw. I guess Demi wants to be more diversified on her monies haha 🎉

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  11 месяцев назад +1

      Yup agreed with @AbcBakery haha security is one and another is because SSB is 10 years, the 3+% is locked in. Unless absolutely necessary, I'd redeem it. Interest rates will fluctuate and won't stay this high forever. Split allocation would be ideal. :)

    How did you make rental payment using uob card?

  • @raphaelalwayslearning

    Hi Demi, if you charge your insurance premium on UOB debit/credit card, you definitely can hit the $500 spending. For me i charging my uob credit card with $500 endowment plan.

    Hi Demi and everyone. Before u all think that moo moo will simply give 5.8%, pls READ AND UNDERSTAND FULLY ALL THEIR TERMS AND CONDITIONS B4 U MOVE FUNDS INTO MOO MOO THINKING N HOPING TO GET 5.8%

    • @DemiZhuang
      @DemiZhuang  11 месяцев назад

      it's 5.8% p.a. interest for 30 days, you have to pro rate if thats what you felt cheated by.

    • @AdaAng-i1t
      @AdaAng-i1t 11 месяцев назад

      @DemiZhuang no its not. I do know how to calculate per annum n pro rate etc. I hold a degree in accounting. I am also aware abt the bonus coming later. I put 50k into Phillips but no issues there.
      Did u know that for moo moo, u need to do the buy trades b4 they will start giving the revenue ?
