There's a video of Patrick Stewart ( yes that one),I was it in the late 90s, where they were doing a Shakespearean Masterclass and broke down just one scene and how they would do it...down the the nuanced speech of each character involved. The actual scene was only like 2-3 minutes long but this took them a couple of hours to talk itvthrough.

David Tennant with his judgy lil face at the back is comedy sensation (and how he bursted out laughing after the audience like he nearly forgot)😂 and the fact that he cared more about Dame Judy than the Prince of Wales. Bravo good man
The differing stresses do a great job of portraying different interpretations- especially Sir Ian McKellen, where by emphasizing “THE” he really drives in the idea that it is the single and most important question of human existence- as Camus states in the Myth of Sisyphus, “There is only one really serious philosophical problem, and that is su!c!de”
I genuinely liked the Paapa Essiedu version because it HAS no unnatural word emphasis. But the sketch was nonetheless brilliant. Presumably only the RSC can pull off the casting.

Charles loved theatre in his schoolplays. The only place he could what he wanted and no demands or rules. He has always supported so many dchool and youth theatres. Not many know this of the King.
Charles is a marvelous orator. Acting would have suited him quite well. He also fought for environmental causes, organic farming and supporting the arts back when no one cared about that. His youth programs to make the arts accessible to all have been particularly wonderful.

If I had a nickel for the number of people on that stage who have played the doctor I’d have 2 nickels which isn’t a lot but it’s weird that it happened twice right.
So funny that Gregory used the punchline of using Our King's English as the way to define the way to say that line. I feel sometimes that thanks to artists, directors and so on, reality "is" a magical place since I choose "To be".
That sketch sounds like a great way to teach kids or aspiring actors how a single line in a play can have so many different possible deliveries.
I'm a drama teacher and that is exactly what I use the clip for.
