Mauritius and the French territory of Reunion hit by Cyclone Belal

Mauritius and the French territory of Réunion have been hit by torrential rain and flooding brought on by Cyclone Belal.
Houses have been without power and running water as the storm sweeps its way across the Indian Ocean.
The population of Réunion - 860,000 - was ordered to shelter at home.
Authorities have confirmed a motorcyclist died during the cyclone.
Mauritius authorities warn that the cyclone poses a threat - while officials predict that the storm will pass to the south on Tuesday.

It was actually in Réunion Island before the coming of the cyclone.

No people are not walking around. In mauritius it was due to bad governance in the morning 6 am it was still a class 1 there and we were told by our meteo services that the cyclone is likely moving toward reunion not a threa . Thus offices wont be close. At 10 am the cyclone changed track and it became a class 2 for mauritius we were told to return home by noon it was already a class 3 where many people didn't get time to return home and it started flooding.
