I just ordered a GA B2100 black out version here in UK. I was curious to why in US it seemed like it wasn’t available. I much prefer the black out version.
This will be my first g shock. I’m planning on buying a screen protector for it. But is that necessary? Do the glass scratch easily? What about the body, they scratch up? Thank you
Can you modify this version of the watch with a) a 22 mm metal strap or b) a metal case and strap? These options are avaiable for the non-bluetooth version and the two watches appear to have identical dimensions.
Not sure since mine has never been fully discharged, but the manual says 7 hours of direct sun light would be needed. Appearance wise, there are only minor differences between solar and non solar one. Of the two, I prefer the non solar model's look.
The Tough Solar model costs more than the regular battery powered model. You dont need to ever replace the battery on the solar model. The non solar model usually needs a battery replacement every 2 or 3 years. Replacement batteries for that are very inexpensive@@lalithwolverine1692
Does the sunburst on the solar dial allow for easier visibility of the analog and digital display? Also, is the blue one still available for purchase from you?

I really wish they had a "watch finder" feature

For me no. However I do not wear it every day. No impact on the crystal yet.

Whats the difference between the 1A1-ER and the 1A1-JF
JF is a model made for Japan Domestic Market. ER is European market. Same watch despite the different model name.
Does the non solar one look more pretty or the solar one? And how long would it take to charge from 0-100?

@@watchify1775 okay I guess the replacement of the solar battery will be more, true right?

@@watchify1775 okay thank you for telling ,… don’t do you think the g shock future forgotten ga2100 looks way cooler than the black?
Great review! I'll get one when and if they incorporate MB6.
Good point. They have other watches with Multi-Band 6 + Bluetooth, but perhaps Casio feels MB6 is redundant with bluetooth check in and sync 🤔

No. Not really. This dial appears more grayish than non solar dial. You can find my blue one for sale on ebay. Search by model name gba2100-2a
This watch and GA-B2100-1A1ER are the same?
Yes - same watch. I think ER is for European market
