I just bought the white one and changed the case and strap from the all black one. Now its the darkest watch with bright hands. Awesome!

All these models seem to have a bad QC issue that nobody seems to be aware of? But Ive seen these in stores and all have miniscule hairline cracks in the case right next to the calculator numbers on the front! Need to really look closely in daylight and angle the watch but there seem to be several on each watch!!!

It can kill a seiko sarb if the hands are more unique like the sarb.. but what it gives me is a headache and a dilemma cause I am stuck between buying this or a sarb..

Great review! I just bought the light blue version, and to me it keeps precise time, and the bracelet adjustment is awesome, and looks beautiful. Only let down to me is the lume, I was hoping it would come with blue lume, and green pip, but new versions always seem to change the protocol. Thanks for your perspective and great video. I wish I'd bought all the SKX013 watches on the market 6 years ago, when I bought mine. They were £60 (about $80) new. They've increased in value better than my pension fund. Seriously though I just don't understand the price-hikes across most watch brands. There's definitely been lots of RUclips Influencer Hype about watches. When people see influencers wearing $400,000 watches then $500 seems like nothing, and everyone must have a watch collection nowadays.

I have both seiko and citizen watches. I always thought seiko was superior but i discovered citizen watches are better🎉

My Seiko Fligjtmaster SNA411 is also accurate to the second after 30 days. Maybe we both got lucky, or its actually a great movement.

Once left a protrek prg650 solar watch in the window to charge for a little to long. When I remember about it it was definitely hot. Temperature on the watch said 49°c luckily no damage.

There are around 33 variations of this watch in total, with different colours and schemes.

I just pick this one up. Only difference is mine has Rail road Approved at the bottom of the dial, right above the Eco drive wording. A fantastic beater, work watch.😃👍

FUN FACT- these are so easy to mod like most Seiko, just swapped out glass for crystal and aluminum bezel insert for ceramic with lume pip and regulated the movement and its literally the tits.

considered both and chose srpk29 bcthey look the same once you put the bezel insert from the 013 and the 29 dial has fancier applied markers.

Where did you get the jubilee bracelet?

I have one and use it to determine if a watch needs servicing.

The second hand on mine lines up great with the indices. Of course since the hand is above the face any tilt when viewing can make them look off. Great looking and very comfortable watch even on my smaller wrist.
