This is Citizen’s version of the TAG Heuer 980.031 Night-Diver. The Tag Heuer was a James Bond watch. I wish Citizen made an Eco drive version of this watch with titanium but I’m still tempted to get this automatic version. I didn’t realize this watch was a limited edition that comes with a mission coin which is also cool

What is the material of the crystal on the back? And its the same on the small seconds too?

Does this titanium surface get scratched easily? Does it have some form of Diashield coating?

The sapphire crystal is often referenced as a selling point of the Kamasu, but it has no AR coating and has a very hazy/cloudy appearance of the dial. Ruins an otherwise great watch for me. I would have preferred hardlex. At least I can see through it clearly.

Citizen also designed and made their own watchmaking equipment. It was so good that Citizen Swiss Type lathes have been an industry leader in their market. If you walk into any other watchmaker, there is a serious chance that they're being manufactured on Citizen/Miyano machines.

Need to include the GA2100WS - the white band and blue face, this watch looks awesome and is nicer looking than the black. I have the black 2100 but wear the WS much more. It isn’t solar but the strap is u pique and looks great in the summer!

Is it fully titanium or plated?

Forget everything else about watches: brands, heritage, prices, etc. Just taken on its own, the A168 is a very attractive watch...not just the retro appeal, but it's just plain aesthetically pleasing. It wouldn't be any more or less good-looking if it had a Tudor badge on it or a Timex one. It's simply a damn good watch. I have several significantly pricier ones in my collection, and the A168 still manages to get a ton of wrist time. A newer watch that has this exact same appeal is the Armitron Griffy, for the same reasons.

I have a Citizen solar promaster diver. I'm very disappointed with pins that move in the sharp edged bracelet, a clunky 60 click bezel with a sharp bezel insert.

FYI… Timegrapher works perfectly on a Seiko VH31b quartz mechatronic movement. It’s the first quartz movement I’ve owned that worked on a Timegrapher…. Useless but neat nonetheless.

Im curious as to whether or not the iridescence is a coating on the strap or if it's part of the resin cast. Basically does it seem like the coating is durable enough to take the punishment of a g-shock or could you scratch it off by accidentally rubbing it against something?

Just purchased this watch yesterday, paid $240 on Amazon. Nice side by side comparison with the Duro which I have and it's a nice watch but not as nice as the Citizen but again for $60 it's offers a lot for the money. The Citizen is a simple but masculine watch. I'm looking forward to it's arrival.

Do you notice any inconsistency in the lume on the hour and minute hand? I feel like the lume is thinner around the middle of the hands.
